Honestly, I was a little anxious about them drilling into the mortar of our brick exterior, but decided to trust the process. Their work is seamless. I can't even see where the holes were! They left the house spotless, can't even tell they were here. We felt the comfort levels improve immediately. They came with a laser temperature gun and the representative said there definitely was a temperature difference and they scheduled an appointment to have insulation reinstalled. As time went on I noted the same issue in my living room. I reached out to the company and was told it was too warm and I had to wait for winter so they can get a better temperature reading. I called when winter came and was told it was my Windows? They are brand new windows!!!! I tried the next year and same excuse but I was never able to speak to someone beyond the receptionist! I filled out the contact info for an estimate , and explained my situation. No response. Last year the winter was mild and figured they give another excuse. This year 2025/26 temperatures are extremely low temperatures 10° and below with real feels in the negative. again I reached out left a message AND reached out over their website! They claimed they offer a lifetime warranty if the bay fails but then gaslight you into thinking it's something else. I went out and bought my own temp gun! The original representative said that they needed to be a 3° difference from an interior wall and the exterior wall and if it was beyond a 3° difference, then the wall failed and needed to be refilled. As of today Saturday, February 7th 2026 at 8pm the temperature is 9°F with a real feel of -6°F this weekend is supposed to feel like -12°F Using my temperature gun I got an internal wall temperature of 72° and 70° as it gets closer to the front wall . My front wall is reading 60°F. In a few bays. The middle base are reading 68°F and the farm bay is reading 67°F, which is within an acceptable range from the 70° however the 60°F Bay is 10° colder.. It took me a few years to finally write this review with my frustration, but I don't recommend this company to anyone

Work was performed clean. The workers were very nice and the system is still going strong and haven't had any issues 8 YEARS LATER. Pump probably runs every time it rains heavy now which only makes me smile. One time investment and a lifetime of peace of mind. Trust me don't deal with the water and leaks and mold just get it done. The price was reasonable for the amount of work that was performed. So glad I put that system in.

They sealed all the high hats and breaches. They filled it with blown cellulose to R49. Which has settled now after a few months. Not the R49. They came back 5 times to redo items that were not properly done. The AC problem is not what we were hoping for. Better somewhat. They recommended a larger fan to exhaust bathroom moisture. Not resolved. We spent over 15g . Not really happy with the outcome. We will have to hire an engineering company to access whatever is necessary to fix this problem.

He thoroughly explained how they would be taking care of my crawl space and cantilever insulation issues. The project was done in one day just before thanksgiving of 2023. The work crew was terrific along with the project manager Mike. There was one small glitch and Mike came back with another worker and took care of my concerns. I can't say enough as far as how satisfied we are. I delayed on writing this post until after this recent very cold snap ( wind chills to below10 degrees )to be sure that my heating issues were abated. They know what they are doing and never cut corners at all. They also exceeded my expectations!

I had an experience that was similar to the original poster…read more The salesman never showed up for a scheduled estimate. After that, he only wanted to reschedule at his convenience. Despite having set a new time, he called at the last minute on another date, and came to my home while my wife was preparing to go to work. This guy also had a bad habit of calling early in the morning such as today's call at 7:45 a.m., waking my wife who had worked late the night before. The sales guy didn't bother telling the workers what needed to be done at my home. It was a job requiring two crews, and they were extremely confused about what was needed. In fact, the lead worker told me told me he would be putting newspaper into my wall, not insulation. I couldn't believe what he was telling me, but he repeated it twice more. I had to cancel this portion of the work because that's not what my contract called for... nor is it safe. A real fire hazard. It was only hours later after the entire job completely fell apart (see below) that I discovered through research that by "newspaper", the worker meant chopped up newspaper treated with borate and cellulose, which is fire resistant. Would have been nice if someone at Delfino had educated the workers a bit more, or for that matter if the salesman had explained this to me. I called to speak to the owner, but was put in touch with an area manager named Dave. Clearly the salesperson's behavior throughout this process was a bit knuckleheaded, and not the best representation of the company. When I stated this to Dave, he yelled at me. I calmly and politely told him that I would not be speaking with him like that, and thanked him for his call. He retaliated by pulling another set of workers off the job. When I called Dave again to find out what was going on, he screamed at me, talked over me, and raged that he doesn't "need to deal with this s&!+ for a $300 job." It wasn't a $300 job, it was a lot more... and it was repeat business. As the original poster stated, the owner of this company clearly thinks the customer needs him more than he needs us. Needless to say, it's the last time I'll ever go to Delfino Insulation or any of its other branches on Long Island.

I was one of dozens of cars that were stuck behind this driver for miles, he was in the left land purposely driving exactly the same speed as the truck next to him. It was obviously intentional because anytime the truck in the right lane would speed up or slow down their worker did exactly the same thing. This was on a road where signs clearly state that slow traffic should stay right, not to mention that the left lane is the passing lane anyway. Traffic was backed up as far as we could see, people were sitting on their horns yet the driver refused to do anything. The car in the right lane tried to move a few times and this company refused to let him by matching his speed every time. If this company treats their customers in any way like they treat the general public, while they have their company info clearly on the truck, I wouldn't trust them. And after reading the other reviews I think my deduction is correct.
