DO NOT HIRE. I hired them for a simple bed bug removal which should have taken less than a month. 4 months later and they still have no finished their job. They continuously ask for payment before work has started (every other company just has you sign a contract and asks for money after work is completed). After months of not doing anything to stop the birds from entering my house cornice, I then asked for a refund of my deposit $1500.00 that I made in July 2024 for lack of service and to date of January 2025 they have yet return my deposit to animal proof the cornice, I think they are scammers. read more

They were able to send over 2 professionals who removed the dead animal within a few hours. They were pleasant, quick and got the job done. I paid by credit card and it was all done. We live in Red Hook, with a fair amount of raccoons, possums, squirrels all over the neighborhood. These guys are GREAT! Super quick and very professional. We were away on vacation when our neighbor texted us that we had a dead raccoon on our back deck. EW. These guys came within 1 hour on a Sunday to get this taken care of for us while we were away. I called made an appointment, they came the guy very nice explained all the procedures to me. He cover part of the vent and put an exit cage at the end of the vent. He told me that he was going to call me when is goes to remove the cage and cover the other end. Well little that I new about these people, he did not call, he just came remove the cage and left the end of the vent open and uncovered while I was at work. I called Albert and spoke to him explaining the situation and he told me that the job was done. My error was to pay them in full before the job was finished. I asked him to send the same guy to finish up the job and he refused even though he said that I have 6 months guarantee. He is not answering my calls or messages. They are very unprofessional and unreliable. I do not recommend this company. read more

These guys were great! We had a raccoon worm his way in through a roof vent into the crawlspace between the ceiling and the roof and down into one of the walls and under the tub! Alberto sent Danny who installed a one-way door/trap so that the raccoon could get out but could not get back in and it worked like a charm! The raccoon came back one night and tried to get in and couldn't! Waited about a week and Alberto came to remove the trap door and install a barrier that the raccoon couldn't get through. These guys are very professional, they absolutely knew their stuff and I would definitely recommend them! read more

In my opinion Hunters Wildlife Removal is completely useless. They were not 100% sure the squirrel got in the way they thought. Despite texts, emails, and phone calls I still have not received a receipt. They never answered my simple questions in my email from two weeks ago. They were supposed to come 5 different times, and did not, nor did they call to say they weren't coming. They had absolutely no respect for me or my time, having me sit here waiting for them day after day. They took my money and ran leaving me high and dry. I just hired someone else to do the job they were incapable of doing. On Wednesday morning 01/15 I heard an animal in my attic and called Hunters Wildlife Removal. They said they would be there in 1 hour, and they were. So far so good. The 2 gentlemen that came went upstairs, while on the 2nd floor they heard what I had. They went up into the walk in attic and saw something run and hide among the myriad of stuff stored up there. It was too quick for them to tell if it was a squirrel or small raccoon. They decided at that point they would go back downstairs and check the outside of the house to try and find out where whatever it was got in. They went around the whole house checking roof edges and gutters and did not find any openings. So back up to the attic, at which point they did see a squirrel that once again ran and hid. They checked the vent fan and determined that was "probably" how the squirrel got in. They set up a raccoon trap in the attic as they did not have the smaller squirrel trap. They said I could have it for a week but most likely would only need it a day or two, and to call them when the squirrel was caught. The charged me $295, which stupidly I paid in cash, but asked for a receipt. I was asked for my email address and told the receipt would be emailed to me shortly. That evening I still had not received any email, I texted them and stated I was supposed to get an email receipt and had not yet. Their response was yes, send me your email address, so I sent that via text. Thursday went by and nothing, so Friday morning I decided to email them. In addition to my receipt I had some basic questions for them, such as "its been 2 days does the trap need to be re-baited and if so who does that?". Alberto responded back shortly afterwards saying "I will look into this and get back to you". I was a bit confused at what he had to look into because my questions were all very simple ones. Friday went by, Saturday and Sunday. Monday I emailed again, no response. We hadn't heard the squirrel in days, and there was no sign of it anytime we went up into the attic, so I didn't push. No response Tuesday or Wednesday. On Thursday the squirrel was back. I called and spoke to Alberto stating how unhappy I was with their lack of responsiveness/help. He asked if I would be home between 2-5pm, I said between 2-4pm, he said someone would come to my house during that time to do a follow-up inspection and answer my questions. By 445pm no one showed up or called, so I called back and said I guess no one is coming today. Roberto was unaware that Alberto promised someone would be here and apologized and asked if I'd be home between 11am-1pm Friday, I said yes. Friday morning I once again spoke to Alberto and he said someone would be at my house between 1-3pm, I said ok. When no one was there by 4pm I once again called and this time went to voicemail, I voiced my displeasure in a message. An hour later I received a call from Alex who was 1 of the gentlemen that came to my house the first day. I voiced how unhappy I was with how I was being treated. He said he would speak to Alberto and call me Saturday morning to let me know what time he'd come on Saturday. He never called. I emailed them Monday 01/27 at 1230pm and informed them I have contacted another company and was done with them. I asked that they respond to my email with a time they could come Tuesday to pick up their trap. They responded at 924pm that they were sorry I felt that way, and that someone had come by my house during the day and called and I didn't answer, and he would send someone out on Tuesday. I did receive 1 unknown call, but I only answer numbers I know. No message was left, and my bell was not rung. I responded back first thing Tuesday 01/28 that when they come, to make sure they ring the bell. Once again I sat here all day waiting, at 5pm I emailed and texted and told Alberto if no one was here by 6pm that I would leave the trap in my driveway. He texted back at 546pm that they were on a job and someone would be here. At 720pm still no one, I texted back 8pm was my deadline, if no one was here by then the trap goes out. No response. Once again no respect for my time. Am I supposed to sit here here day and night and wait? I put the trap out at 8pm, it was still there in the morning, but gone by the evening. If only someone else had posted a review before we decided to call them. They charged us a total of around $870 to put up an exit cage in the hole on our roof and another cage on the ground to catch the raccoons, which as the other review said, they charged $350 each for 7 days. They promised to come back every other day to check on the cage and to call them if it caught anything. It's been over a week, and they have not come back once or even bothered to call to check up on the situation. I have checked online after they left and the cage they were charging $350 for only costed around $50 online. They also wanted to charge another $500-700 if there were babies in the wall, to open an area up, remove, and patch it back up. The tenant said the mother raccoon carried the baby and left already, and they still haven't been back to patch up the hole in our roof despite saying they would be after 5 days of putting the cage up. We ended up having to call someone else to patch up the holes in the roof. It should have been a clear sign when they took so long to put up the exit cage. They clearly looked like they didn't know what they were doing. read more

Great experience!!! They showed up 2hrs after my frantic call. I had no idea what came down my chimney into my fireplace. All the noise and scurrying seriously had me thinking raccoon. However, it was a very small bird that scared me to drinking. The team was responsive, quick and professional. I truly appreciated them. i had a pest problem, i called hunters wildlife removal and the service was great, they quoted me a fair price for 5 day trap, they caught the raccoon in less then 2, so job well done. the raccoon also had babies, about 4, they gently took out all the raccoon's and placed them on a towel and handled with great care. i had to throw out a whole storage container but it was my fault since i kept feeding it and never put a lock on my storage containers. all told, they took care of my issue, they even asked if i wanted a video of them releasing the animal, i said no, but it was nice they do that. not sure about the other two bad reviews, maybe they weren't nice to the workers. read more
