Rohit picked us up for a delightful ride to SFO. He jumped on getting our luggage to the taxi then drove us there with interesting conversation. So much so that we asked him to pick us up. That worked out as well. Our prior experiences doing so did not. He's driving a late model Caddy that replaced Allied's limousines. They were getting old so it seems Allied is here to stay and doing a great job. We will continue to use them for all our trips to the airport and when we need a taxi around town. I called just to get a cab from San Bruno to the airport and the guy just said no no sir and hang up on the phone on me. Bad service.

Mr. Sameer has been my driver of choice for a few years. He is courteous in an Old World way and this makes it very comfortable for me to be a passenger. He's completely reliable, always on time, and goes above and beyond if I need help with something such as stopping at a store en rout to my destination. He's a good natured person, too. Worst experience ever! Had to wait over an hour and when finally got a cab the car reeked of cigarette

This is my go-to Cab Company around SFO when I'm commuting in the peninsula. I've used them 4 times now, and will continue to do so. I hate to use the SF cabs at the airport because they complain to you if it's not a huge fare to the city. Well, unfortunately, passengers gotta go to where we gotta go. By calling a non SF taxi,you can also avoid the $2 airport surcharge. I always forget the rates by the time I get home and think to write a review, but.. I think rates are about par...$3.50 for a meter drop, and about $3-3.50/ mile. Dial-ahead for scheduled pick-ups are right on time with-in a few minutes. The drivers have all been friendly. Granted, I always tip a few bucks, but not $5 for a $15 ride, when I don't use the 10% off coupon. I asked for a buck back. Only problem was one guy didn't have "change" for my $20. Actually he did, he gave me a handful of coins, said it was about a buck... wish he just had a green washington. But extra points for being able to do a 1am pick-up from SFO, with minimal wait time. read more

Allied Cab came through for me in a bit of an emergency. My son had his car towed while at work and of course his battery on his phone was dead so he couldn't call an Uber or a Cab to take him to the tow company. He works 2.5 hours away from home. Trying to arrange a ride for him without having phone contact was ridiculous. Allied Cab driver Jack texted me when he got to my son's location and even called me to let me know my son was in the cab. Two days before my trip, I reserved the cab for a 5:00 a.m. pick up to the airport, and a nice young lady took my reservation. That morning, no cab by 5:05, so I called and spoke to someone who said that they didn't have the reservation. I said that I really needed to get to the airport ASAP, and he said someone would be there in 10 mins. A gentleman came 10 minutes later, and no harm, no foul. I would still use them next time, but I would also confirm the night before and maybe even right after I get out of bed the same day because I don't have a back up plan! read more

Cabbing it to the airport has never been so easy! Was NOT looking forward to walking to the Caltrain station with my suitcase, transferring to BART, taking BART to San Bruno, then transferring to the right train that takes you to SFO. Seems like a lot of work for someone who only lives about 10 miles away! And at the end of the day it would have cost something like $10 to do so. Allied Cab was a $15 flat rate from my house in Burlingame to the airport. The driver arrived early and got me there in no time flat. Totally worth the extra few bucks (don't forget to tip). I was a little hesitant to schedule a early-morning cab from Burlingame to SFO. For some reason, I don't trust cabs to arrive as scheduled and I knew that I wouldn't be able to hail one outside my door (ah, how I miss the City). But, Allied was there promptly at 5:30a.m. with the trunk open ready for our luggage. The trip ran just over $12 and our driver was quite nice for that early in the morning. I've heard that some cab drivers don't like taking people between SFO and Burlingame (something about it being too short a trip for the fee they have to pay to exit the airport?), but I've never had any trouble calling this company for a ride from our house to SFO. Absolute worst customer service EVER. I told them the name of the cafe to pick up my friend, who was going to the airport, and they asked for the exact address (although they should have been able to search on the name) so I gave them the address listed on google maps. When we didn't see the cab at the specified time, I called back, and having found out that the street was listed incorrectly on google maps, I updated the address. The woman said it would be 5 more minutes but that the driver was nearby. 10 minutes later, I called back and asked where the cab was (so I could try to give directions if that would be helpful) and instead of answering me, the man asked me what address I gave them, and wasn't that address wrong, yada yada. Pointing out my mistake was not going to help the cab get there any faster, but perhaps answering my question would have! I repeated my question, he again refused to answer, and HUNG UP ON ME after saying it would be there "soon". Luckily, we spotted a cab from another company driving by, and my friend made her flight. ALLIED NEVER AGAIN. EVER. Do yourself a favor and choose another cab company! read more

I had a 7am flight out of SFO, and rather than taking the 4 trains from my home in Burlingame I opted for a cab. Yes, it really is 4 trains: Caltrain from Bgame Ave to Millbrae, BART from Millbrae to San Bruno, then BART again from San Bruno to SFO, the AirTrain to get to the terminals. I'm glad there's a public transportation option, but it is seriously craziness!! Anyway, the positive reviews led to me Allied, and I'm glad I went with them. I called the night before to make the reservation for 5:30am (ouch!) and the driver arrived at 5:25. I got a text and phone call from dispatch to let me know he was outside. Helpful when I can't see the street from my apartment. Two freeway stops later, he dropped me off at the airport for $20 (including tip). Cars were a bit old, but it was clean and he got me there in one piece. No complaints, I'll use them again next time I don't want to take 4 trains to go less than 5 miles! read more

Called for a taxi, the woman on the phone was nice. Told her I wanted a taxi ASAP, she quoted me ten minutes. It took him 15 to get there, but I didn't really care, just give me a more realistic quote next time. He didn't speak much, but drove safely and helped me with my bag. It costs 3.00 for the initial pick up and 3.00 per mile after that. My trip was only 3.8 miles, although I should have been charged 14.40 I was charged 16.50 which came out to 3.60 per mile. Original review: Called 2 days in advance to make an appointment for an early morning pickup at a hotel in South San Francisco to the SFO airport. The guy who answered told me it was better to call another cab company and gave me the number to the 1-2 star Peninsula Yellow Cab. Edit: Manager contacted me informing me that South San Francisco Hotels are only allowed to use Peninsula Yellow Cab for some reason. Decided to call for our ride to SFO from Belmont and the dispatcher was helpful when I called the night before when setting up the pickup. Got a call at about 4:50 saying that the driver was there and waiting for us. We had a bit of a confusion on where he parked but when I called dispatch we found him in a minute. Be prepared to over pay: My driver took the scenic route - hitting every back street between my pickup point and my destination. He was careful to avoid the 2 main streets which would have taken us from point A to point B directly. I've had this experience with other cab companies, and tried Allied this time because of all the GREAT reviews. I was pretty angry when he dropped me off, but hesitated to post a negative review or report the driver. I know the driver knew better - he just didn't think I knew. So - he cheated me - but I don't know if it was because he was a basic slime bag or if he was just some desperate soul who needed money so badly that he figured a few extra bucks out of my pocket wouldn't matter. I guess in the grand scheme of things it doesn't really matter - I really just need to find some option other than taxis. I've heard too many bad stories about Ubers, so I guess the only options are public transit or mooching off friends. read more

I regularly take taxis to the airport, usually very early in the morning. After trying several different cab companies and being stood up repeatedly, I tried Yellow Allied Taxi. I'm very happy with them, and have been for months now! I'll never use another cab company. They're always on time or early. The cabs are very clean. The drivers are helpful & professional. I call 650.579.7000 the night before and request a pickup for 4:30am p/u the next day and that's it, I don't have to worry. I also have them pick me from SFO. Just a quick phone call once I have my luggage, and (10) minutes later I'm in their cab going home. For family trips they offer minivan service and even bring child car seats upon request. Called the cab to get from a restaurant back to our hotel. We told him from where the pickup was and where the destination was as well. The hotel was about a mile away so I didn't want to walk with my mother in tow. When the cab showed up he disgustingly said " I had to come all this way to take you a quarter mile?". Wasn't sure what to expect as it appeared that they were geared toward reservations, but the driver arrived within the 10 minutes he'd estimated. Here is the letter I just wrote I them: I just had a horrendous experience with driver Richard (an older white man, in case there are more than one Richard). He was so rude, i have never in my 18 years as a flight attendant experienced another human being as nasty as him. He picked me up from home and was rude from the start. I asked him "how are you doing today?" cheerfully when i got in the cab and he replied curtly with a grunt. So i didnt speak to him the rest of the drive. when we got to the airport i gave him $12. ($10 drew rate + tip even though he was rude. He said "whats this?" I told him, he said "Nope, call our number, its 20% off, not $10" And i wish i could convey his tone, as it was awful. So i called the number and it was confirmed, and told me its been this way for years, even though I take this cab company frequently and its always been $10. Richard put my bags in the street as i spoke with dispatch and drove off. when i finsihed the phone call, i went to put my bags together and my strap to attch my bags was missing. so I called back and explained about my strap. The dispatcher said that Richard said there was nothing left in the trunk. i said "of course he said that, he wasn't very nice to me. But it was on my bags when i gave them to him and wasnt when he drove off." The dispatcher put me on hold, and came back a few seconds later to tell me he found it and he was bringing it back to me. When he came back, he had his window rolled down and gave me the strap. i said thanks and walked away. he said "Hey!" i turned around and he was shrugging. I went back and asked him "what?" He said "this cost gas, you know, to bring this back to you!" i said, "then you shouldnt have forgotten it" He said "I didnt forget it, you did." I explained to him he put my bags in the trunk, and he took them out and drove off while i was on the phone with his dispatch and so how was it my fault that he forgot to give me the strap. He yelled at me "This is why i dont drive flight crews!" and as i was leaning in the window he started to drive off!!!!! he could have done serious harm to me! I couldnt believe this man! Then he braked abruptly and continued to yell at me! "Next time, tell them you're crew, so i dont have to come get you" and other things...he was a horrible, horrible man. I will spread the word and I will look for another cab company... I'm still in shock! read more

Long overdue review, but in brief, they have been_100% reliable_for rides to and from SFO in the last 5+ years that I've used their services. I've only ever called their dispatch number to reserve a pick-up-- either for myself or with my family (which required a minivan for a child car seat)-- and the drivers have arrived early every_single_time. Very solid track record. This has made for many stress-free departures. i have taken allied several times from burlingame to SFO. they are ALWAYS on time, and usually about 10 minutes early in picking me up. and for me, that's the most important thing about a cab company. the cars are meh, usually on the older side. but whatever, it's not a big deal to me. as long as it's safe to take me where i need to go! for those who are concerned about a no-show cab, i always call the day of to confirm my reservation. FYI there's a 10% off coupon on the website that i always print out. EDIT: have you ever arrived at SFO, only to find the cab line to be INSANELY long? i have. if you don't want to wait 45 min for a damn cab, then call allied and they'll pick you up within 5 minutes. read more
