I called yellow allied early morning for me and my family to get picked up, since our yellow cab didn't show up. Well when i called i got greeted with a very friendly matter, and said my cab will be there in 10 15 minutes, but my cab arrived very fast only in about 6 or 7. I sure was glad it was quick, a guy name Jose which by the way is awesome name lol. Well he was friendly and very polite, Ride was very smooth and great conversation. I highly recommend yellow allied. I will defiantly will call them again and will be requesting for Jose. read more

I used this cab company between San Bruno and SFO. For about 3 miles, the fare, before tip, was $12 on the way to SFO (weekday noon), and $15 on the way back (weekday midnight). I don't take cabs very often so I don't know if this is fair. That said, the driver was prompt in arrival, friendly, and helped me with my heavy suitcases. Living in Burlingame (which is so close to SFO), I always worry that cab companies do not want to deal with such a short fare. I have used a different cab company in the past that services the Burlingame area which did a great job. Unfortunately, this time around they were not picking up. So based on the reviews I found on Yelp, I decided to try Allied. I called the dispatch around 10:45am for an 11:15am pick up. They were prompt and the dispatch actually sent me a text letting me know that my cab was in front. The driver was really friendly and it was a quick an easy ride. I have used Allied cabs numerous times, going to and from the airport. They always have someone reliable answering the phone (I hate when no one answer or when the person who answers sounds bored, unhelpful, etc.). The drivers are prompt, efficient, safe, and while they can be quite chatty I've always enjoyed the conversations. My recent experience with Shabi convinced me to leave a good review on Yelp. Prompt, fast, and efficient. Called them the night before to take me from the Crowne in Foster City to the Oakland airport at 7am. Driver arrived 15 min early and greeted me outside the hotel. The ride was quick and professional and the car was solid and clean.. Charge was $75 + $5 toll. Gave the driver a $10 tip. I paid cash (which the driver preferred) but could have paid by card. You get one star. I was travelling to the airport with my infant child. I found Allied cab on Yelp, called the dispatcher the day before and I was told that I would get a cab with a rear facing infant car seat. It wasn't a casual request, it was talked about for the entire call. I only booked this cab because they offered a car seat. It's pretty obvious because of the 1 star review, they did not bring a car seat. I was too close to my flight to send them back, and I ended up having to carry her. The driver told me the dispatch did not tell him to bring a car seat. All the other important stuff, the company was fine. Driver arrived early, got us there on time, took the fastest route. The car was clean, and he didn't have any problems with his credit card machine. But, when you book a cab for a specific reason, and they don't deliver, then you get 1 star. After moving down to San Jose about 4 years ago I haven't really needed a cab in the peninsula for a long time. I honestly had forgotten the information for this company and so I decided to use Yelp to find a taxi company when I arrived at SFO this morning. The taxi arrived quickly, was friendly and dropped us off where we wanted to. Certainly the best taxi service from SFO (seriously don't take a taxi from the taxi stand, only San Francisco taxis there, bad treatment in my experience, and 50% surcharge if you go more than 10 miles south). read more

Allied limousine is such a cool company. The driver was so cool. I used them when I want go to SF for a tour with my friends. It was so fun in the limo. They had all the drinks we asked for! It was a fun night in the city the driver knew his way around San Francisco with no doubt. The clubs he took us were off the hook. They had a good run of 5-star service, but twice now I have made reservations online and got email confirmations of my reservations, but no one arrives at the scheduled time. Then, when I call, they have no record of my reservation. They are no longer reliable! I can't risk missing my early morning flights, so I will not be trying them again. Dispatcher was easy to understand and double checked my address. Car came within 5 minutes of time range. Phone answered promptly when I called to check. Dispatch called when car arrived. Car had promised baby car seat. Might sound strange but none of this is a given. read more

I've called these guys a few times for rides between Millbrae/Burlingame/San Mateo, and they always show up promptly, and in nice town cars--complete with leather and wood trim interiors. The last driver I had even had a subtle orange scent going, along with some fresh roses in his car. Definitely luxurious as far as cabs go. read more

4 stars just based on the easy booking process. I spent 20 minutes on the phone with 2 other cab companies that have out of the area dispatch. I called Allied yellow and talked to a person immediatley and booked a pick up in an hour and a half in less than a minute. Hoping the pick up is just as great as the booking process. read more

I almost missed my flight with this cab company being 30 minutes late, had to call another company to come. Worst cab experience of my life. Pre ordered cab night before and confirmed with woman in am for simple ride to airport. No show I call again then woman lies says they were waiting for me, even though i had been waiting for them!! 15 mins later an old man shows up asks what terminal then proceeds to go postal screeeaming that I'm a little ahole and I'm damn lucky he cme for me and f u . I've never been scared before but I thought he was going to hit me since there's no separation between driver and you. After cussing at me for a minute he realizes he made a big mistake and offers a free ride to airport when I asked to let me out of his cab at the top of murchision. Not much to say here but had experienced what I consider good service. I called the number the night before my flight that was leaving out of SFO at 5:30. I asked if I could book the flight and the lady at the call letter said yes and took my information including phone and address. About twenty of fifteen minutes before my pickup time they call to confirm and let you know the driver is on their way. It was a quick ten minute ride with a friendly driver and was all good. read more

I was aggressively followed on 101 yesterday by an Allied Cab driver, that would not let me merge on 101. He pursued me me from Burlingame to Hillsdale, following every move I made. Every lane change, he would get up so close behind me that I could not see the front of his cab. When I tried to merge onto the on ramp at Broadway Burlingame, he sped up so I could not merge. He got in front of me and proceeded on to the freeway at 9 MPH, hoping, I'm sure, that it would make me honk. Any professional driver who carries passengers and acts in this manner has no business behind the wheel of a car. Any Car! I didn't get his license number unfortunately, because I didn't want to use my phone to record it. He however, took photos of me with his phone. I made a reservation online for a mini van with a car seat and even received two confirmation emails. This morning a sedan shows up with no car seat. The driver says, we don't have car seats. What a joke. Why does your website say they are available? Why does my confirmation say you are going to charge $10 extra for one? Why did you send a sedan when I was quoted for a mini van!?!?!? My wife and I reserved a ride from Marin County to SFO airport, a few weeks before our travel date, using the Allied Yellow Cab's website. We received an automated email confirming the reservation, with the correct address and pickup time. After making the internet reservation, I even called the office to verify it with a live person. A nice lady answered, and said all was arranged. Good to go, right? WRONG. We get a call a few minutes before the pickup time, and this new dispatcher says the driver can't find our address...IN SAN FRANCISCO, not Marin County. Either the driver didn't read his dispatch right (more likely), or he was given the wrong information. Anyway, the caller (another dispatcher) said she'd contact the driver and redirect him to Marin County (add at least a half hour to the pickup time, traffic permitting), and that she'd call us right back. And of course....no call back. After waiting another 15 minutes for a callback, we called them. Dispatcher says she told the driver to call us, and that she'd contact him again. At this point, we gave up and made last-minute arrangements with another, local taxi service. As I write this, we're waiting for the taxi... Suffice it to say we were very disappointed with Allied Yellow Cab, and will never use them again. Mad in Marin read more

Not a good experience I took the taxi from Bart to La Quinta the driver didn't look happy because I was going near by oh well my fair was only $7.00 he charged $15.00 because I was paying with credit card he was disappointed that I didn't pay cash his excuse was that he was going to pay taxes he was the only driver that charged me that much. I called in to get a cab to take me to my mechanic. Not only did I have to rush to get to work after being dropped off but the driver went the most out of the way route possible driving 10 mph to Howard ave. It was a ridiculous $15 spent and even after the vehicle stopped off at my location the meter still ran. I give 1 star for the mere fact the cab showed up to my house. I will never use this taxi can service ever again and will hopefully next time have a friend that can take me instead. read more

Booked cab to the airport the night before for an early departure. 15 mins later, still no cab. I decided to call dispatcher and she tells me cab's on its way. I wait for another 10 minutes (we 're talking 25 mins late). I realize at this time, that i wont make my flight. The dispatcher decide to not pick up my phone calls anymore. Wow! Luckily, was able to wake up wifey and gave me a lift. Why not 1 star, because they used to be great and prompt, but this is the 2nd time they are late. These guys have been on my s***list for a long time. They are the reason I switched over to rideshares like Uber or Lyft about 4 or 5 years ago. I took roughly a 25 dollar cab ride way back in the day, swiped my card and paid. There was some sort of glitch or error with the system and the payment was processed before I could leave a tip. Maybe my fat fingers tapped the wrong buttons. I was trying to bring it to the guy's attention that something happened, and before I could really say anything, his first reaction was to tell me "What, no tip!?!?" Because he was a dick about it, I said "that's right." I was going to leave the guy a tip, but because he was going to get a shitty attitude about it, I decided to leave him squat and swear off all yellow cabs and go with rideshare companies from that point on. Have never had an issue since with any driver. Ta-ta taxis, you guys are going the way of the dinosaur due to your continued crap attitudes. To the cabbies who complain about passengers not tipping ... if you hate driving for a living, go find some other job. Pretty miserable experience all around. Booked taxi (van for 4) on their website for ride to SFO at 5:35 a.m. the following day. Site estimated cost at $36.80. Got confirmation email. At 5:35 a.m. NO Taxi. Called Allied about 5:40 and woman who answered said taxi was there; I explained it wasn't, she said she'd call me back. She didn't, so 5 minutes later I called her back and she was surprised taxi was still not there, said she'd call me back, so I ask her to have driver call me. Now I'm late and called another taxi service. Allied called back saying taxi will be there shortly. About 10 minutes later Allied showed up (20 minutes late) and we take the Allied cab. The van is in terrible shape, driver said he went to wrong address, had no cell phone (it "broke"). Driver insisted on taking long route (280 instead of 101) and the ride ended up costing $49.70, not "estimated" $36.80. Only good thing is I didn't miss my flight, but ended up getting stressed (as well as wasting another taxi service's time). Very good company in my experience. I usually use Yellow Allied from Burlingame to SFO. Short ride. They have always been on time (about 20 bookings over the past 9 months, usually early in the AM), courteous, discrete drivers. I also call them now when I get back, and within a few minutes they are at the airport -- which is much better experience than being cursed by curbside cabs at the airport who resent the short ride to Burlingame. Due to a recent back surgery I'm not allowed to drive. I do not belong to Uber so I must use a cab. My first 2 drivers thinks I don't my way around and took a long route to my destination and then got fussy about taking a credit card. I called the company after that to complain about it. After that I didn't have anymore issues with them. Shame on them for having cab drivers who try's to hustle a buck from their passenger. read more
