I acknowledged her right to show the home and was attempting to communicate cooperatively. In response, I received multiple text messages that were hostile, demeaning, and intimidating. These messages included being called "little girl," statements such as "you'd be wise to remember that," and "FAFO," as well as threats involving police and remarks concerning my dog. The tone and content of these communications were unprofessional and escalated far beyond what was necessary for a routine scheduling issue. As a licensed real estate professional, I expected respectful, businesslike communication. Based on this experience, I would advise prospective clients and tenants to proceed with caution and to keep all communication strictly in writing
