Gina and Rachel have been so helpful and patient. We moved here from a house in the Sandhills area, and we are new to Raleigh and apartment living, so we had lots of questions. Gina and Rachel always made us feel like we were no trouble! There are also monthly events for residents. This month was a pool party and we got to know a number of the other residents. We are vegetarians, so Rachel made sure there were veggie hot dogs! It is great being part of a small community. Many of the apartment complexes we visited were too large, but Saint Mary's Square is the perfect size for us. I also love that there is a great yoga studio across the street and a beer and wine store only a block away. We also like the pool, the exercise equipment, the easy access indoor parking, so many things in walking distance and two local buses that stop right outside the door! One goes directly to Crabtree Valley mall and stops in the underground parking area, so even in bad weather, I can walk around in the mall! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone moving to Raleigh!

Short walking distance to super market, bars, restaurants, park, office & workout places. (yoga, row, HIIT) Walking distance to cameron village (huge plus). We have a small dog and she felt so comfortable, from the moment we arrived to the moment she left, her tail was wagging. The bed and linens were so comfortable, we wanted to purchase them! but unfortunately they were not for sale :( I would purchase the entire set if i could, I have insomnia and haven't slept that well in a really long time. The kitchen was perfectly layed out for the space we needed for a temporary home. Keurig was a huge plus in the AM and I was able to cook full meals without an issue. The bathrooms were very spacious & clean with modern fixtures. Only wish there was one tub. (we had two bathrooms) The living room was comfortable; was able to work from home comfortably without any issues. The cleaning staff was great. Very friendly and came in promptly at the same time every week. Wish i knew what scent they used b/c I am missing it. The lobby staff was absolutely amazing - they delivered your packages and mail everyday. If you have an issue, they check it out immediately. Just a few cons to the building: -In one of the bedrooms, you can hear the people upstairs. (although i think they were loud b/c it sounded like they had a young child running around) -Some of the walls are definitely too thin. -When people spoke loud in the hallway, we heard it pretty clearly. (but once this one person checked out and left, it was very quiet) But overall we loved the place and will be back.

My partner and I are moving from California and we planned a trip in September to see the area and check out a few communities in preparation for our move in December 2020. I called and left a voice message a couple of weeks ago and received a call back from Parker early the very next day when the office opened up again. Parker was very pleasant over the phone and answered all my questions. I set up an appointment for 9/17 And we met Chelsea when we arrived. She was very sweet, patient, and welcoming to us. She gave us a tour of three different layouts and we really liked all of them. The community seemed very clean. The rent rates were fair and they had specials going on. We really enjoyed our tour. This place is still our number one choice after visiting a few other communities. A lot of it had to do with the hospitality and outstanding customer service from the staff. The meme wall at the office was a nice touch. Made us laugh early on in our visit. The dog treats in the cute little lobby made us feel that our service animals will be welcomed. Moving can be a scary and stressful process especially when it's out of state. Parker and Chelsea made it a little less scary for us. We lived in building 10, which is in the back of the property near older residential housing. The people in those houses were very loud and obnoxious. Not to mention the constant traffic going by and the train blowing the horn at least a half a dozen times a day. Two weeks in and we knew it wasn't the place for us. So we decided to take advantage of the 30 day happiness guarantee and move back to our old place and even though it was a big financial hit, it was well worth it.

The fumes have been extremely strong to the point where you cannot even be in your own apartment. Many residences have complained but nothing has been done. Any lower reviews have not reflected my experience at all. Like anyone, I had specific things I was looking for in an apartment. I wanted to be in the city, within walking distance to everyday spots, and, most importantly, somewhere I felt safe, comfortable, and at home. Edison Lofts has exceeded every single one of those expectations. The location is incredible! The building is nestled right between a coffee shop and a gelato shop, with *so many* restaurants and trendy spots nearby. I can walk to school, coffee, the YMCA, church, walking trails and pretty much anywhere else. I truly think the price is very reasonable for such a safe, cozy place right in the middle of everything Raleigh has to offer. As a single woman living alone, safety is incredibly important to me, and I have consistently felt secure here. The building is extremely secure, with key access required for entry, each floor, and from the parking garage. I've never had a single time where I felt unsafe or noticed anyone who didn't belong. Of course, like any city, you stay aware of your surroundings when out and about and use common sense, but Raleigh itself feels safe, and this building contributes to that sense of comfort. I've really loved the sense of community here, too. The staff put on events for residents that make the building feel more connected and welcoming and I appreciate the diversity of people who live here. It's a lot of young professionals, like me, but the building has plenty of families and older residents, too. There are also plenty of residents with dogs, which I love! The amenities are also a huge plus. People actually use the common spaces, which is, at least in my experience, rare. You'll regularly find people making coffee at the espresso machine in the morning or gathering for a game of pool on a Friday night. The 24/7 gym is fantastic, the pool area is beautiful, and the attached parking garage adds an extra layer of convenience when carrying in groceries, etc. It's clear the staff take pride in taking good care of the building. The maintenance team is kind, responsive, professional, altogether so great and the system to make maintenance requests is super easy and efficient. The entire building is exceptionally clean, which was highly important to me, too. Edison Lofts is truly cleaner than any other apartment complex I've seen in the city. I've never had a single issue with bugs. I actually haven't spotted a single bug, like, ever. The valet trash is well managed and it seems like the common areas and hallways are cleaned daily so the building smells nice. But what truly sets Edison Lofts apart is the staff; especially Nick. Nick was the first person who gave me a tour, and he completely set the tone for my experience. My sister and I came back the next day for another tour (and with lots of follow up questions) and he was just as kind and welcoming. I submitted a rental application a couple months later and Nick actually distinctly remembered my tour. I don't know how he does it. Since moving in, he has been such a positive, reliable presence; always friendly, always helpful, and someone who genuinely cares. One time my package got lost in the mail lockers, and Nick literally went through every locker with me until we found it. That level of effort meant so much. He truly goes above and beyond. Overall, the community feels friendly, the staff are incredible, and the entire experience has been better than I could have hoped for. I genuinely love living here and can't imagine being anywhere else during my time in law school. If you're considering Edison Lofts, I would absolutely recommend it. (& I hope you get the chance to meet Nick, because he is a huge part of what makes this place so special.)

There's free coffee and tea and a really nice gym which I definitely take advantage of. I live over the pool and noise has never been an issue - I find other residents respectful and courteous. Overall, living here has been a great experience.

WARNING TO ANYONE IN RALEIGH SIGNING AT 511 Faye. BUYER BEWARE…read more When greystar managed this property, everything was fantastic. The property was well maintained and the staff made it worth the extra money. Now this property is being run by people with zero management skills. Issue #1) 2 of our three elevators have been down for TWO AND A HALF MONTHS. This leaves us with only ONE working elevator for a 23 story building. It only gets worse from here. Issue #2) We were supposed to have a fire drill that they first said we all needed to evacuate for. Then, 1-hour before pulling the alarm, they told us we could stay in our unit during the drill. However they neglected to tell us (until AFTER the drill) that the fire inspectors are ENTERING OUR UNIT! No one told us this until after they already did their inspections. This led to some of my friends being walked in on while they were not-decent. But oh my it gets worse. Issue #3) Today the THIRD ELEVATOR WENT DOWN from approximately 9am-1pm. This is against all ADA guidelines and left us without access to or from our apartments unless we were healthy enough to walk up 23 flights of stairs. When I went down to the office at 12pm on a Tuesday to talk about this.... they left. Yes they straight up didn't want to deal with complaints, so they left. I went to the corporate building for DRP and was told they they have no idea where they went and were scrambling to figure it out. Keep in mind, this place is PRICEY! $1700/month for a studio DEMANDS better service for the residents. And to top it all off, no apology or actions were taken to address the complaints. Zero monetary compensation was provided for this mess. DO NOT SIGN HERE! Spend your money elsewhere

The location gets no better than Fayetteville and Wilmington st. The leasing staff is the best in town! I was in touch more frequently with Valerie and Antonie and they are kind, professional and are always sure to assist with resident needs swiftly. The community events were super creative and there were always events scheduled throughout the entire month. I also love how the pets receive the own recognitions every month and a jar of treats to grab from at the front desk. 511 Faye has a signature scent throughout the building (mainly in the leasing area) and omg, I loved it! Regarding my studio apartment, literally my dream come true. It was upgraded, no cracks, holes, or anything else that you can think of. When I cooked, the smell did not stay in my apartment for long even with the building not having windows that opened. Honestly, now that I look back on it, I am so glad that the windows didn't open because I NEVER had to worry about those NC insects/bugs getting into my place during the summer (I'm terrified of bugs). I could brag about 511 Faye, the views, the location, the community, the staff, the apartments themselves, all day. If/when I move back to the RDU area, I will be sure to consider this residential community again. :)
