I hired Robert based on his reviews and calls to his previous clients who were pleased with his work. Robert made sure the roof was done correctly. There were a few hiccups because the roof was a steep pitch but his crew finished the job and my roof looks amazing! He worked with me and answered the questions I had about the process of the roof being done. The best feature of Robert is his use of a drone before and after the work was done. I could see what had to be done before the roof was torn off and that was some tuckpointing. After that was complete, the roofing could begin. He also noted that the facia boards needed to be covered in aluminum which they completed. All work was done to my satisfaction. read more

Very good company. We needed some minor roof repairs (birds nesting) and some of the exterior wood fascia looked pretty bad (paint peeling, damage, rotted wood). Had a few companies out to look at it, ALLMAX being the second. Robert, the owner came out the same afternoon that I called. He worked with me to identify what we needed and and provided a verbal quote based on how much I wanted to get done. He followed up with an emailed estimate. After a week or so, I got back to him and requested that we add to it, the response was very prompt and they emailed me a revised estimate. Compared to the others, ALLMAX was increasingly shaping up to be a reliable partner we could work with, and we decided to proceed with them. Paid the 30% advance and then of course we had a couple weeks of torrid weather and thunderstorms, putting off the work date. I kept following up with Robert and he was always responsive and honest - he told me he does not give out firm dates because the work is very weather dependent. Finally, got a text saying they'd arrive the next day. Yay! The day of, a crew with a large utility van was outside before 8 am. Robert arrived soon after and they got started. He went over the project with his crew and left to go buy the materials needed. The crew got to work on the south side, removing the old fascia - and lemme tell ya, these guys got some serious ladders (up to 40' !) and scaffolding. They set up a couple sawhorses and cut all the new wood to size, precisely using the old pieces as a template. Watching them work all day as I popped in and out, I thought to myself this is what we pay for, expertise and workmanship - at great heights. I mean I can cut wood, hammer nails and paint too, just not at 35' off the ground, lol. The newly installed fascia pieces were painted to match and you cannot see any color difference old/new, and it looks much nicer. They also took care of the bird entry problem by putting in a 1"x2" piece at the base of the soffit. Also replaced some shingles that had blown off, they found some more that probably occurred in the last month and replaced those too. When the work started, I discussed a small addition with Robert, we also have badly damaged wood facia from the gable above the garage. We decided to get that replaced as well and they did. While the painter was up there I asked if he could just paint the other side of the fascia as well, it wasn't "damaged" per se but had paint peeling. Robert told me that wasn't the right way to do it, it would need to be scraped/sanded before painting. That's another indicator that he cares about doing the work correctly and not cutting corners. They took care of it and finished up the entire scoped work by late afternoon. The crew did a good job cleaning up, sweeping and using a blower for the minor sawdust on the sidewalk. When we got to tally up time, Robert told me that his crew had actually replaced more of the front fascia than we had originally planned (upper and lower gables instead of only upper). He said that was his mistake and we wouldn't be charged for it. The extra work I added today was not a big increase relative to the original estimate. Robert told me a couple of times that he is honest with his customers, and I would agree. We are happy with the work performed - the damage was addressed before it became worse and the new fascia looks nice. A couple of my neighbors already complimented us on it. Overall, if you want a reliable, responsive and honest contractor that will work with you to solve your roofing needs - ALLMAX is a solid choice. read more

After much research on roofers, I went with Allmax Roofing and am glad I did. Robert always responds quickly, provided a competitive quote with quality materials, and was great to work with, His workers are quick, efficient, and do top-notch work. Robert was so very responsive, forthright in what was needed, cared about doing it properly to ensure we wouldn't have further leaks, showed up on time (a week earlier than anticipated in fact-- and then on time on the day of), communicated all throughout the repair/installation process on our odd flat roof issue (leaking into the house in a very strange spot) and also a partial shingled roof job, new flashing around chimney and vents and replacement of attic venting. He sent us pictures all throughout the job too so we could see the damage and steps being taken to remedy what turned out to be a poor roofing job by another company quite a number of years ago. We did need a change order from the original quote due to more damage found once his team was working on the flat roof and trying to trace where a leak had originated from. He called us right away to inform what he found and what would be needed to fix properly and to get our approval to proceed. While we didn't love the change order and the increase in fees, Robert did his best to be fair and to work with us on the final bill. He also found matching shingles to the other 3/4 of the roof that wasn't getting replaced at this time and so thankfully it doesn't look weird that only 1/4 of the main roof and a flat roof was done while the rest waits for a few more years! Robert was knowledgeable, oversaw his team and what they were doing, was super responsive and kind. We went and checked everything out after his team was done and the area looked like no one had even been there (except the roof was new!). No mess anywhere, not even a stray nail. I would use this team again for sure and am so happy to have finally found a roofer that returns calls/texts, doesn't ghost, and does a thorough, professional job. Highly recommend. read more
