Country Breakfast to-go. Amazing biscuits and unique gravy!
    April G.

Great little hidden gem in Green Bay. I always love biscuits and gravy and Allouez Cafe does NOT disappoint. The bread is made daily and the gravy is unlike anything I've had before. The eggs are cooked to perfection every times we've ordered. Not too dry, and not runny. There's someone in the kitchen that knows what they're doing and loves what they do. The steak and eggs are great and you must try the country breakfast.

    Be grateful for good foid.

Tge Allouez Cafe has been our favorite go to place for breakfast for many years. It's a cozy cafe, with delicious food and great service. Their waitstaff, Rae, Lynn, Tammy, Jane, Jan and the other staff hostesses, the owner Dave make this an even better place to eat. Lots of regular customers proves that do a super job. Try it, you'll love the food and the friendliness.

Breakfast special. Sausage, eggs and toast. Pepper added by me.

The first experience I had here a couple of years ago was not good. Therefore, we general avoided going here. Yesterday my Father-in-law wanted to go here for breakfast so we sucked it up and went. I am actually really glad we did. This time the food was really good for a diner. I ordered the $5.95 breakfast special that had two eggs, two sausage patties, two pieces of toast. Ordering my eggs over-easy is always hit or miss but they executed them to perfection. The sausage patties were excellent with a little sear on them the way I like. They also had plenty of little jams to pick from. Overall I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the items I ordered. The portions were not overwhelmingly large which I appreciated. The service was also quick. The waitress was sweet and funny. Just remember this is a diner and you will be happy. Stop in if you want a quick breakfast sometime.

We were absolutely blown away by their service. We went in on a Sunday after another place in the area was wayyyy too packed with a long wait time. Simply the way we were acknowledged once we came in blew me away. Every single person inside that place emits happy good vibes. The wait staff was fabulous. The food was very good, but with the high level of customer service they provided they could have served me a dry biscuit and I would have been just as ecstatic. I couldn't stop talking about how great the service was all day. There is something magical about that place. Other restaurants in the area----take note! Allouez Cafe knows how to take care of their customers and it is very clear THEY ACTUALLY CARE. Thank you for giving Greg and I a breakfast to remember. We will be back!

The French toast is made with their homemade bread, croissant sandwich is huge, and they use high quality bacon and sausage.

There were plenty of people on the boardwalk and plenty inside. We were seated immediately and our server tended quickly. Food followed fast as well and wowwww the eggs on the chilequiles were sooo jiggle and soft and perfectly cooked. They were so busy ! How did they do that?? The corn bread was fantastic. My boyfriend is from Tennessee and was very pleased by it. He also eagerly feasted on a Benedict with lox on it I got the chicken and waffles as my main and the chicken was so nice. Perfectly crisp and spicy and not too thick for the purpose. The waffles were nicely cooked and crisp on the edges. Golden brown. Fantastic service we kept saying again and again how good it was on the walk to the car.

The waiter immediately came to serve us I had to ask for the spot to be cleaned instead of him just doing it on his own. The service was fast and easy but the food not so good. 3/5 stars because the creamy latte was to die for Really yummy!!! As far as the steak and cheese skillet I wasn't fond of it at all. I got hash browns instead of the breakfast potatoes. It came out lukewarm with like 4 bite size pieces of steak underneath the half cooked scrambled eggs. I wanted cheddar instead of Swiss cheese I was confused when it looked like they still used Swiss but was informed that was "white cheddar". Which I wish they would have told me that's the only cheddar they had before just making my meal. Will I come back again maybe probably yes the beverage options are really extensive but next time try something completely different on the menu!!!!

Two stars for quality of food and wait time. Decided to eat a salad for lunch since I'll be eating cheese curds tonight :-). Chicken caesar salad with chicken was the choice. Very slow and very few people eating here so no reason why something this easy takes over 30 minutes. When it did show up, I expected the chicken breast to be freshly grilled. To my surprise, it wasn't and was cold. Now I ask, how long does it take to throw four items on a plate? There was nothing special about the salad at all. Hard pass.
