Why are the hours so terrible?! They are only open for breakfast and lunch, which is fine but apparently close at noon on the weekends and Friday, instead of 2pm like every other day. They have such an expansive booze menu, it would be great if they reopened in the evening for some late night cocktails. While taverne in the sky is open, our experience with food and Bev at leaps and bounds is so much better and the coffee drinks are solid. Have also had breakfast sandwiches here which so take some time, but are very good! My husband is obsessed with their nitros. Overall - the cafe is great, wish the hours were different. read more

Disappointment and realized when reviewing others reviews, seems to be a consistent issue here. Chose this location for convenience but learned the hard way. Two stars for quality of food and wait time. Decided to eat a salad for lunch since I'll be eating cheese curds tonight :-). Chicken caesar salad with chicken was the choice. Very slow and very few people eating here so no reason why something this easy takes over 30 minutes. When it did show up, I expected the chicken breast to be freshly grilled. To my surprise, it wasn't and was cold. Now I ask, how long does it take to throw four items on a plate? There was nothing special about the salad at all. Hard pass. read more

Classy cafe and coffee bar on the lobby level of the trendy Lodge Kohler hotel directly to the west across the street from Lambeau Field. We attended the Packers game on Sunday and came back to the Hall of Fame and this coffee bar on Monday. Waaaaaay less people. We all just ordered a variety of delicious coffee drinks, no food. Loved the luxurious decor, comfy seating areas, and enjoyed the gallery of Packers pictures while we waited. The best part? There's a vending machine with baby bottles of champagne. Blah food. Excited to stay at one of our favorite places in Green Bay we decided to make it easy for breakfast and go to Leaps & Bounds. We orders the French toast, avocado toast with salmon and a breakfast with drinks. The chai drinks were so watery it was borderline not drinkable. The avocado toast was brownish and the salmon was overcooked, dry and had no seasoning. The only thing that saved me from giving this place a one was the service. Food took over 45 mins to arrive (cheese curds, deviled eggs and smash burger) we had to ask for our food status and all of a sudden the food was out, the plates were too hot like they sitting under heats lamps for way too long. Cafe was not busy just patio half capacity inside was empty. Deviled eggs were dry and rubbery, cheese curds had no pull and where just odd. Fries were delicious hence the 2 star. The waitress had no knowledge of the menu when we asked questions. It took over 30 minutes for tequila shots to make their way to our table and then we were rudely approached to pay the bill and upon return of receiving a 25% tip the credit card was tossed at us. read more

This is for their new dinner and Tapas Menu and not for breakfast and lunch entrees. We checked out the new Tapas menu last night and were very impressed with everything from the drinks, food and live music. Leaps and Bounds is located in Lodge Kohler across from Lambeau Field. We live close by so we often have dinner and drinks in the restaurant upstairs but we are suckers for Tapas so we were excited to give this is try. The ambience of Leaps and Bounds I would say is a cross between a cafe and and a restaurant, I would love it to be a tad more "lodgey" but it is very nice. There is a fire pit outside when the weather is warmer. There is a private parking lot behind the hotel for hotel and restaurant guests. The music last night was phenomenal with a Jazz duo, the volume was perfect and it was nice to relax, socialize and enjoy the tunes. I had the Crosby which is a spicy margarita and it was delicious. They make their own syrups and this one was infused with habanero, poblano, and jalepeno. I love Mezcal and paired with this syrup - perfecto. The food The Spread Board was amazing and so much food! The hubby had the Beef Tartare which he assured me was the best he has had across the country. The presentation was beautiful....almost too pretty to eat. My only feedback would be that smaller servings with a less expensive price point so you can try multiple of their bites and another vegetarian options. read more

Hinterland was closed for a Saturday morning coffee so I came here and got a seasonal Pumpkin latte. This is inside the Hotel Kohler. It's super cute and cozy with nice decor and merch. We were looking for a sit down breakfast place, and with the name, we thought we found it with Leaps and Bounds. It's within a hotel and you have to drive around to the far back end (right by the sledding hill). It is BEAUTIFUL inside this hotel! They have great signage to lead to the cafe. However, it is just a service counter to order your coffee. They have some pastries in a small counter case, and one warm special written on a board below the counter. There is a lot of ambient seating throughout this area and into the hotel area. But if you are looking to fill up on breakfast food and not just limited pastries, this isn't the place. read more

I am super particular about my iced dirty chai tea lattes, and Briana did not disappoint. It was delicious-- I only wished they had served breakfast a little later. Leaps and Bounds is not quite what I expected, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's not really a 'closed in' cafe, per se, it's more of an open lounge area with a coffee bar/stand in one corner. Not a bad thing, but more open than I pictured. It's decorated well, in subtle green and gold but with an upscale feel. They've got smaller booths and larger tables, so there's something for everyone. I saw people working on their laptops, so it's a good vibe for that. They've got the standard coffee bar offerings, and a healthy selection of food, from beignets to wraps and breakfast sandwiches. I didn't try any food, but it all looked good. I did have an egg nog latte with a shot of caramel, which was good. Possibly too sweet, but that's my fault for adding the caramel. The one ding I give them is price, as they were a little on the high side. I get that it's Kohler, but my latte was nearly $7. It was a specialty latte with an added shot, but the total caught me a bit off guard. It wasn't enough to deter me from going in the future, but it wouldn't be a go-to everyday type place. read more

Came up for a little get away!! Great facility beautiful location! Directly across the street from the Hallowed grounds that is Lambeau Field. Couldn't wait to come here as the menu looked delicious! The food doesn't disappoint, however, the service did in our case. Other tables that ordered after us received their food before us (there wasn't a noticeable difference in what they ordered compared to us). We also noticed tables that ordered after us didn't have to wait for their food as long. This was tough as we had our baby and toddler with us and nothing was communicated about a delay. I had to ask about the food after almost an hour and was told it was coming soon and was waiting on the fries to finish. I would have appreciated some empathy and understanding from the staff or at least better communication on the delay. I hope to give it another try in the future and see if this improves as the food was great. read more

We were looking for breakfast and looked over the menu and drive there to eat last Sunday and when we got there we were told they didn't have any of the items listed. The new(ish) Hotel Kohler is a gem! Some residents told me they felt it was plain based on the outside - but goodness people! GO IN. It's lovely. A lovely part of it is the cafe to the right off of the lobby, Leaps & Bounds. They have cafe type seating, as well as a lounge and hats off to their interior designer. Its the perfect mix of modern and football. How can that be? Go in and see. I stopped in for lunch during a busy work trip (I stayed at the hotel, too) and ordered the soup of the day and what turned out to be a decadent grilled cheese on a nice crusty wholesome bread. I'd expect nothing less in Wisconsin! The service was pretty quick, and they clearly made the piping hot sandwich fresh when I ordered it. My plan for next morning was to order the Classic Beignets (Three Beignets Tossed in Powdered or Vanilla Sugar with Choice of Sauce: Lemon Curd, Spiced Chocolate or Apricot-Ginger Jam) - but! I got distracted by another option and went with the WARM POPOVERS (Two Popovers Served with Strawberry Preserves and Almond Butter) YUMMMMM. Had dinner prior to a GB game 9/9/18. Everyone was leaving for the 7:20pm Sunday night game. Order a Trout Spread app & Prime Rib sandwich at 6:18pm and didn't get food until 6:47pm! We came here after going down the sledding hill at Titletown near Lambeau field and it was a great relaxing cafe to visit to warm up with some hot beverages and conversation. The seating area was comfortable and I rather enjoyed my Chai Tea Latte. The staff member who served us was great as well. I liked the display of the menu behind the counter and it was nice and relaxing (as well as quiet) when we were there on a really snowy afternoon. read more

This café isn't only for guest of Lodge Kohler, it is open to the public and should be enjoyed. The selection is not huge but the items they do create are fabulous. We had a mini-frittata and a fruit plate. We ate outside because the weather was nice and wanted to take in all the surrounding area including Lambeau Field. The service was impeccable and the food was every bit as good. You order and pay at the counter before you sit down. We were their for breakfast but they do have small plates and wine on tap for the afternoon crowd. I understand they also have live music on Friday and Saturday evenings. read more

I was looking for a place to have lunch with a friend and decided to try this place. Nice atmosphere on a cold, rainy day (although it was a bit chilly sitting by the window). Nice menu offerings for a small coffee shop/bistro but I was disappointed in the food. My friend enjoyed her Cobb salad but the kale salad just didn't make the mark. I had anticipated curly kale so when I saw baby kale, I was not too happy, but in fairness, I should have asked before ordering. This would have been ok except the kale was rather wilted. Also, I like farro and have enjoyed it in many salads but it was just kind of thrown on top like confetti or an afterthought (instead of a main ingredient). I am used to having it bound together with some dressing. I did appreciate the dressing (which was good) on the side. We also shared the Mediterranean trio. The tomato hummus was good but the fig/olive Tapenade had a weird bitter taste to it. We were not at all rushed (the place was nearly empty at 12:30 on a Wednesday) and it was very quiet, allowing us to enjoy our time together. read more
