We are there for brunch today. On a Saturday around maybe 10:30 am so what a guy might think of as "peak brunch hours" for a nice summer weekend. There were plenty of people on the boardwalk and plenty inside. We were seated immediately and our server tended quickly. Food followed fast as well and wowwww the eggs on the chilequiles were sooo jiggle and soft and perfectly cooked. They were so busy ! How did they do that?? The corn bread was fantastic. My boyfriend is from Tennessee and was very pleased by it. He also eagerly feasted on a Benedict with lox on it I got the chicken and waffles as my main and the chicken was so nice. It is a really cool location and building. Are food came out very fast and was warm and looked amazing. We had a brunch burger cooked medium. It was ooey and gooey and it surpassed my expectations. My only advice is ask them to serve it on a plate versus the board because it is messy. Great fries! We also had the chilaquiles. The pickled onions and roasted red peppers were unreal! We went based on reviews, but our experience was NOT great. Location and room is fun. Service was slow, but ok. Then the food came out. First the over easy eggs were over hard. You could tell by looking at them, but the waitress delivered them anyway. Then she vanished. Another server took them back. Then they came out with the whites entirely raw. Again waitress is nowhere. Another server takes them back for the second time. The third time they came Our correctly BUT they had just put them back on the plate where the raw egg white slime was still there. So gross. I have to start by saying that any restaurant that doesn't take reservations but routinely has their diners wait 60-80 minutes for a table is ridicules. I am truly happy that you have a thriving business but how about treating your customers better. Take reservations on your busy days or at least start a waitlist. Not doing so certainly takes a toll on the staff as our service was slow once seated and our server kept apologizing for the wait. When we arrived the person taking names said it was about a 60 minute wait and they text you a link which tells you your place in line. When we first received the text link it stated that we were 27th with a 60-80 min wait time. After an hour we were 8 in line and the wait time changed to 60-115 minute wait. Bloody Mary was not overly spicy but definitely felt a little burn in the throat. It was delicious, and loaded with garnishes. Bacon, pepper, olives, mushrooms, dill pickle, cabbage, celery, carrots, and cheese. Orange Mimosa's were sweet almost tasted like pineapple and not orange. Try this place during the week when you can get in without the wait and a reservation. Food was good, and didn't take long after ordering. Skillet was a bed of potatoes with your choice of 2 meats (I just had bacon) and 2 veggies (I had onions and tomatoes) topped with some scrambled eggs which I would have thought would be over easy but the scrambled worked and some cheddar cheese . This place is pretty nice! We barely had a wait at beak Sunday brunch time. Our server was so sweet and helpful. The food is really tasty and they have some creative options. The hot coffee is kind of okay/had a burnt taste, the iced tea was super strong so be ready for that haha nice view of the fox river, only downside is it's a bit pricey, but worth it to visit every once in a while. My friends and I came here on a Saturday morning after visiting the farmers market in downtown Green Bay. We arrived to the restaurant at around 11am and waited about 30-45 mins for a table, but it was definitely worth the wait. Despite how busy it was, the service was great. I ordered the chicken and waffles with a side of skillet baby reds as well as a morning star cocktail. The waffle was on the softer side, similar to the texture of a microwaved Eggo waffle and the chicken was a bit dry. The skillet baby reds were crispy and the morning star was delicious. We stopped by The Creamery to grab brunch before heading up to Door County. It's located right at the mouth of Lake Michigan along the North Fox River. You should definitely plan to get here early as it tends to get busy pretty fast on weekends (and for good reason)! We waited about 30 minutes to be seated but were able to grab a coffee to-go at their bar and walk along the river while we waited. The food was honestly so good. I ordered the Veggie Hash with added grilled chicken. I loved the melted goat cheese that came with this dish! We also tried the eggs benedict which we enjoyed thoroughly. I finally went with my girlfriends recently and was pretty disappointed with the outcome. -You are not allowed to call to get on the wait list. rather you must be there in person a quoted 20-30 minute wait was an hour. +During that time the bar served delicious coffees and mimosas! My order was the Buddha Bowl, they charged 1$ extra for almond milk even though it says "choice of milk" on the menu. Additionally I ordered an ice coffee at the table after my mimosa at the bar and they charged another dollar for the milk swap again w no disclaimer or heads up on the menu. -My friend ordered a breakfast item & they eggs were so raw ( the whites were not event cooked) it was disgusting, the waiter was shook aswell. We sent it back and again it came out raw. frustrated since it took another 30 min she ordered something different which turned out okay, but then was charged for the first dish which was more expensive despite not eating it. -Additionally she was served the wrong mimosa flavor, and was promised a new one that never came. -My other friend ordered an iced coffee that came hot & they poured it over ice... which just melted all of the ice in a minute. i would argue this was laziness, because it's common sense that the coffee is served at a certain temperature range hot. --To top it off the waiter dumped an entire tray on the lady next to me & forgot to come back with more towels so my table gave ours to her to clean herself up. My overall review is that I would strictly come back for drinks/bottomless mimosas due to the wonderful atmosphere and people at the bar. The food is delicious, definitely brunchie food - and all of it is delicious! Lots of unique flavor combinations and breakfast options. Highly recommend getting the cornbread as an appetizer! They have lots of good drink options, from coffee to mimosas! Again, a perfect brunch spot with family and/or friends. I love getting their fancy/seasonal lattes! A few weeks ago I made my first trip to the Badger State, and my favorite meal of the trip was at The Creamery. My only complaint is that while the menu was huge, there were hardly any vegetarian options. That being said, the service was amazing, and they were more than happy to make changes/substitutions. They do NOT skimp on the portions here. The French Fries are billed as a "large order of house-cut fries for the table." This is no joke. They are truly meant for the whole table, and not just a table of two. I ordered the breakfast burrito without the chorizo as my main. This too was massive, but delicious! Pro tip: Order the cornbread!!! I was focused on trying to make it through my burrito, and forgot to take a picture, but it's the best cornbread I've ever had.
