A tree we purchased 10 months ago has not been doing well. It has been properly planted and cared for-even "babied" along-and still not doing well. We are not at all new to tree planting or basic knowledge, so to have this kind of issue is very very rare for us. We have inquired back with Browns 3 times now as to what we can do to help this tree make it, and have gotten zero help or answers this far. We are getting the feeling that they are just waiting for our 1 year from purchase guarantee to pass by so that they can skip their commitment. We do not necessarily want the tree to be replaced, we want their input to know to make this tree thrive better and we are not getting it. Our next tree/shrubs may be coming from someplace else. Update from initial paragraphs above... absolutely zero "customer service" for the tree, and our time ran out. We had to cut it down. $300+ in the burn pile. I very rarely give a business this kind of review, but I honestly feel that this was warranted. We played by all of their retune/customer purchase rules and guidelines, and they did nothing.

Bring Cash, I don't think they take Credit Cards, $1.69 for a small pack of veggies (1-4 plants depending on type) or $16.99 a flat. The best thing about the place is that they have great descriptions for each plant. They give you the days, what they are good for (e.g. canning, salsa), sun or shade, expectant yield, and whatever else you want to know. They have a very good variety of Tomatoes and peppers. The 16.99 a flat also goes for most of the plants here as well. They have two main greenhouses as well as plants outside. The place isn't huge but you will get excellent service and a good price. This is better than going to Meijer, WalMart or other places like it. It is a nice place with a very nice staff.

This is off the highway on the way to the airport. There is a large parking lot, and the greenhouse is huge! I went in for one thing & walked out with more than 10. I hand-build tiny, tiny ceramic pots, so I'm always looking for tiny plants to put in them. Straders has only a small selection of these pots & they are $6-15 depending on plant. DeMonye's had 10x the variety of what I usually find at Straders, and they were $4.49!! I did a little dance. You can find annuals, perennials, indoor plants, bulbs, seeds, soil, garden decor, pots, you name it! I also found flowers and berry plants for my garden. The ladies who worked there helped us pick out a beautiful selection of flowers for our pots. They taught us how to make how selections visually appealing and guided us to the right flowers depending on where our pot will reside. My pot will be in my front porch which is shaded and also has some sun. I was able to pick out both shade and sun flowers. The flowers here were so bright and healthy. I was so happy seeing all these beautiful colors and really wanted a job here. It must be heaven to work with the most beautiful flowers every day! I picked out 2 different flowers of different sizes. One grew taller and the other was short. I also picked out the most vibrant pink Colleus plant. I have never seen one so rich pink. This will be my filler. I also got another plant with cool hardy leaves that will also have flowers if they get sunshine for my drooping over the side of my pot plant. I was very happy with my selection and the ladies who worked there were super helpful! My pot came out $10 more than the pre made one but I was able to choose my own selection. This was such a fun event. They also had cookies, meat,cheese and wine inside the main house. I bought a spicy jar of salsa to go.

Went to their grand re-opening as they advertised having several deals. They seem more like a tree…read morenursery than having many other indoor or outdoor plants. I am more of an indoor plant person, as I don't have a very good vision for outdoor landscaping. They didn't have many indoor plant offerings. You could tell that they were still setting up the new location (I hope) as there were things clearly out of place. They do have a large variety of tree offerings, and a good selection of different fruit tree varieties. The tags on the trees were very helpful in finding the perfect replacement tree for my front yard. I picked out the most beautiful Redhaven Peach tree. It was pricier than what you would find at Lowe's or Costco, but she did look to be in better health than the cheaper trees. She is in the ground and growing baby peaches already! They also offer a 1-year warranty on their trees as well, which was a nice addition. This is a good nursery if looking for trees.

I was assisted by a young lady there, I didn't catch her name, but she was so helpful. She was able to teach me about all of the plants and help me determine which ones were best for my yard and needs. I ended up getting a few green giants, some of the best quality I've ever seen and again crazy low prices. So impressed, I plan to swing back by soon to grab some more.
