Allstar moving was great! The movers were professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and moved all of my belongings within two hours and didn't damage anything! I'm only giving them 4 stars instead of 5 because they didn't wear masks. Due to the fact they are going in and out of people's homes, I do think it would be best if they wore a mask. I do not recommend this company to single women. They did a double move for me on 10/3/16: stuff taken from a storage unit and the assisted living place I was moving from to my new place. I was by myself when they moved me. Two guys just wanted to dump my stuff and get out, which is primarily what happened. They didn't even ask me where to put stuff, but I was following them and asking for specific placement, which irritated them immensely. I had to hire someone to do things like move my sofa far enough from the wall so I could reach the plugs. It was different when I used them before and had males present. read more

DO NOT TRUST this company. Bianca the manager was extremely unprofessional, unconcerned, not interested and most of all not caring to my situation. I prepaid 200$. This company did not show up on the scheduled day, leaving me on my own, finding trucks, random people that I had to find off the street (being that I HAD to be moved on that day). This lead to many of my belongings being broken, lost and or stolen. Bianca promised on that day their company would give me a store credit, ANOTHER LIE, when I attempted to redeem this credit that I have a confirmation code on she said that I was "out of luck" and there was " nothing they could do". They are THIEVES who take your money and should not be trusted. They took my money and gave me NO SERVICES!! read more

I was very pleased with the team that came to move me. They were done with the primary move in two hours flat and proceeded to the next location for final drop off of two items. Everything went smoothly and quietly. The rate was great for the service, especially when comparing the cost with other movers. We hired Allstar for a local move within Memphis. They interviewed my husband over the phone about our needs. He explained that we were moving a four bedroom/ 2.5 bath home with 2 patio sets, garage, dining room, office, etc. They never sent anyone to the house to assess the contents which I found quite strange. We have moved 8 times in the last 6 years and this is the first time no one came by to eyeball the actual items being moved. As it turned out, they grossly underestimated the size of the truck needed. My husband and I ended up making 4 trips with our Chevy Suburban packed tight and STILL had to leave some items behind! The only reason I give this company 2 stars rather then 1 is because the two men doing the loading and unloading were very hard workers and surprisingly enough-nothing was damaged in the move. I used Allstar moving a couple of weeks ago for a move from an apartment to a storage. When I first called, they didn't have anything available for my dates, but called back almost instantly and were able to provide a time for the next day. The movers were communicative, careful with my items and took care to make good use of the space in my storage unit. I have no complaints! read more

We used All Star twice within a 3-4 month period. They came recommended by my father in law, who was really pleased with the jobs they did for him. The whole process was top-notch from start to finish. I can't say enough good things about the young men who came out to move us each time. I have a complaint about this company. I moved yesterday the "movers" were late getting there. I had to help with the move to pick up the pace. They drove 30 miles an hr on the expressway and I got charged 80!!! for an extra hr The job should have taken only 2 hrs Plus I didn't receive a receipt because I was tired from moving a lot of things myself. read more

If I could give this 0 stars I would. Simply put, they did not show up. I scheduled them for moving help after booking my U-Haul. I emailed back and forth with Kenneth from the company to confirm the time and the address. I went and picked up the truck but they just never showed. I called several times but got no answer. I know they had my phone number but never called me. My boyfriend and I ended up moving everything ourselves which sucked. The worst part is, there is really no consequence to them no-showing. They just don't get paid. I think they just decided they didn't want to wake up on a Saturday morning and the payment wasn't worth it. It really screwed me ever. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. I called on Monday afternoon 9/23. I needed some office furniture moved the next day. It was short notice but they were able to schedule it for 9/24 at 4:00 pm. They arrived right on time. The guys moving the furniture were very courteous. They promptly moved it to the location I needed. The price was very reasonable. I don't understand all of the bad reviews. What a HORRIBLE experience I had w/ AllStar Moving!!! Issues w/ scheduling, going over time, & damaged items. I called to make an apt & no one called me back after 3 days so I called & left another message stating that if no one called me back I was going w/ a different company. (I had already purchased their services via Living Social) Finally someone returned my call & we scheduled an apt. Skip forward to moving day. Everything is packed & ready w/ 3 people waiting at our new home to help unpack & the movers haven't arrived & haven't called so I call & no one answers. Surely if they were running late they would call... well 30 minutes pass & I call numerous times & NO ONE answers! I leave about 3 messages. Now it's an hour past the time they are supposed to be here so I call Living Social & finally they get me in touch w/ someone who claims that whoever I made the apt w/ must have forgotten to write it down but they'll send someone over as soon as they can. 2 hours later they finally arrive & try to tell me that they had me scheduled for a few days prior-which is a straight up LIE & I guess an attempt to take the blame off them? I know it's not the actual mover's faults so I don't argue & just let them do their job. They were polite & well-mannered but were slow & not careful w/ a few items. I was satisfied w/ their performance even though it took an hour longer than it should have but my husband & I are okay w/ this, pay the additional money, tip the movers, & start unpacking. We notice door frames in the new & old place are chewed up from furniture hitting them. One door they had to carry a large desk through so I understood but the other door there was no excuse except carelessness. My dresser had 2 identical chunks of wood missing from either side of it (must have happened during transit) but we were OK w/ this until we saw that our BRAND NEW washer had a dent right in the front of it & the scuffs all over it & the dryer. That was the last straw so I call them & OF COURSE no one answers! What kind of business NEVER answers their phone? I write them an email stating how disappointed we were & about the damage to our stuff & that if they did not respond in 2 days I was going to report them to the AMSA & leave bad reviews on the internet. As you can see they have yet to return my call or e-mail so here is my bad review. There are so many other better moving companies in Memphis I would STAY FAR AWAY FROM ALLSTAR MOVING. Their customer service is nonexistent & if they keep damaging people's stuff they won't be in business for long. read more
