They then told me I needed $500 work done on my back brakes, which sounded crazy and sketchy. So I took my car to Friendly's instead for the service, and they told me it would probably cost much less. They called only a few hours later and told me my brakes were fine and that I was being mislead by my dealer. Friendly's could've easily kept the brake story going and made like $200-$300 off of me. But they were honest and didn't even charge to LOOK at the car. I wouldn't trust any other service shop with any of my cars.

Thieves, yes literally lying thieves…read more My truck needed a transmission about seven years ago, took it to them because they were the cheapest and they did a good job. About five years ago took another car there and they told me it needed to transmission, since I trusted them I did it. took the same car back about a year later because it was leaking and they wanted to charge me again, so I drove it like that and I managed to get rid of the car afterward without fixing the problem. I still didn't question their honesty until I took my own car there, they told me I would have to get a new transmission yet again, this time costing more than ever at nearly $5000. I was super upset about this so I called another shop just to get an estimate, long story short I had to go pick up the car which they didnt want to give me back, had to basically beg them, and take it to the other shop who managed to fix the problem: $450- yes, less than one tenth the cost, it never needed a transmission. they had lied to me, now it's a year and a half later and the car is fine. the second car probably never needed the transmission rebuilt either, i will never know... these guys are absolute lying pieces of shit.
