Do not come here if you have a pearl coat paint. First round was a total slop job. I couldn't believe the lack of workmanship. Also zero communication to the customer while your car is being repaired so don't bother calling their rude front desk lady because she'll tell you "you don't know how long this kind of work takes". They had my car for 2 months before I got it back because they had to try and redo the paint match and fix their half assed job reassembling the door and bumper. read more

Awesome! Labeib was very professional and friendly from the beginning. He treated my daughter and I both with respect and courtesy. After receiving estimates from a few other shops that spoke to us like we were stupid, it was an easy decision to go with A1 Auto Body for our vehicle repairs. All we did was drop it off, they contacted the insurance adjuster to make sure their estimates were aligned so the insurance check would cover the entire repair. They took care of everything. There is nothing good to say about this place. This is part 2 of my review. the first was right after the paint was finished. Keep in mind they called 4 times to say it was finished. Blisters the size of florida along with runs like the Mississippi. Missed paint spots and now, peeling off as I drive down the road very disappointed in the response from Tom the owner who takes no responsibility for the work . 15k and this a month later there is no excuse. read more

I found A-1 Auto Body completely by accident (no pun intended) about 5 years ago. We needed to get an estimate for an accident and the place we intended to go to was closed so we went to the nearest place. Best thing we ever did! We've used them at least 4 times since then. Tom, the owner, is the nicest person you ever want to meet. He is honest and very knowledgeable. His body work is impeccable! His son Tim is exactly like him. We brought our 2017 Highlander here after some one hit the rear passenger side quarter while it was parked. Being new to the RockyPoint/Shoreham area was unsure where to take the car. I read the reviews and decided with A1 auto body. All I can say is they were Great! My message for anyone looking to get their auto worked on go as far away as you can from A1 autobody in Rocky Point. I went for paint and body work and what I got was $2000 in damages to my stereo, ignition, fuel system and interior. The body was not prepped properly and the paint is blistering. Blotchy. Shiny dull overspray and spots weren't even painted. When mention the owner took no responsibility and blamed me and mother nature for the incompetence in his business. I am currently going the legal route to recover the $15,000 I had to give in "CASH" to get my vehicle out of the INCOMPETENT care of Tom and A1 autobody in Rocky Point. Had a noise coming from the front of my car after bending back a front piece going over a pot hole. Told them about my problem and had them fix it. After getting whatever they told me needed to be done to fix the problem, the noise didn't stop. Brought it back had them do some more things to fix it, told me it was fixed, then it still wasn't. Brought my car to another place to find out it was completely different from what the man told me to get fixed. Which costed me over a thousand dollars of new parts that didn't need to be changed. Over all wouldn't ever go here again. He tried to do more work then needed to get an extra buck and took advantage of a girl who knew nothing about cars. Was mislead when I first went there because the family was very nice. read more

Hands down the most honestly hard working people out here. They took care of us once we had someone rear end up our car. Tommy took absolutely great care of everything for us. I just had my car repaired at A-1 because I had been there before and knew they were the nicest people. My car was ready early and, most importantly, looked better than new. It's a 2007 Volvo They handled everything for me including a rental. Geico ins. was also great. Their office has a restored old gas pump and also an old coke machine. I highly recommend A-1 Auto Body. Btw it was a truck or bus that scraped by leaving rubber and scratches and dents but not a note while I was not in it! Nancy read more
