Long story short Ralph has been a good guy to my mom and I in a pinch and always been straight up with whatever needed to be done. Unfortunately or fortunately I haven't needed much of Ralph's services since leasing a car since 2012. So I always took my car yearly for the inspection. That was the least I could do since he ALWAYS took care of me and my cars before I started leasing. His guys were always nice too. One time I had picked up a nail or screw in my tire in my '12 Jetta while working in Garden City. Called the shop up and they waited for me to get to the shop same day to plug and patch. Ralph has now since retired but my mom and I both are in touch with him via social media. So in a pinch last Saturday I sent him a message in desperation. I told him that Smithtown VW just told me I needed to spend $200 plus tax on a new tire and balancing and who should I go to look at it? I wasn't exactly ready to throw down the $200 plus since my '15 Passat is about to be turned in. He ever so graciously told me to get in touch with his old shop manager/friendly face JR over here at All American. So I did. JR told me that he was closing up for the night but he'll be back in on Monday and to come by and his guys will take a look. Unfortunately I was under the weather on Monday and didn't wind up going to work. After calling JR on Tuesday telling him I didn't forget about him we arranged I'd see him before work on Wednesday. So off I went on Wednesday morning. Nervous since Smithtown VW didn't tell me where this alleged nail was I was afraid I was going to be sucked into buying a new tire. Thankfully JR took me right away pretty much after we bs'ed a little and had one of the guys check it out. Well low and behold I didn't need to throw away $200 plus to a tire because it was patched in no time. So thanks to Ralph for putting me in touch with JR. I know where to go now in a pinch for little issues and for my inspections now. Thank you JR for taking care of my tire. I promise if I get my Jeep I'm coming back so you can oogle it.

This place was great!! I had a bad feeling a few days ago while driving and this happened to be the…read morefirst place I saw. JR was the only one working that day and was totally backed up. He took the time to look at my car, figured out the problem in minutes, and gave me an estimate for labor and parts. I had no choice because I couldn't drive my car in that condition so I went for it. He called me a few hours later to explain what was going on and told me car would be ready the next day. JR was honest, polite, and completely knowledgeable- he explained what was happening and what caused the problem- and before doing anything else, called to make sure I wanted it done. He even did the inspection on my car :) JR is the manager at the shop and has only been there a few months. The other reviews are from awhile ago- please check this place out if you need honest and reliable work done!
