I was told that neither wiper was working and that I needed both a wiper motor and a wiper transmission/linkage, and I was given a very high estimate. This did not match what I personally observed before coming in. I went to several other mechanics for second opinions, and each one confirmed that : the wiper motor was functioning properly, and only the transmission/linkage needed replacement. This was never about the money -- it was about trust and honesty. Had I been given accurate information upfront, I would have returned here for the repair, which would have been $700-$800 in business. I also would have confidently referred family and friends to this location. Because I was quoted and charged for repairs that were not actually needed, my business -- and my referrals -- went elsewhere. It was a Tuesday and my brakes began to grind and I had a 7 hour drive that following Thursday. I contacted this shop and was greeted by the impressive manager, Julie. I explained my situation and she did everything in her power to get my car in the shop that Wednesday and to guarantee that my brake repair would be completed by the end of the day. I asked what the potential cost would be and she said if I needed new rotors and brake pads, it could cost $300-$400 per axle. This was on par with estimates I had researched. Impressively, upon the Mechanic's review, it was determined that I just needed brake pads AND that they would rotate my rotors instead of replacing them. They order the parts the day of service and the delivered parts were not the right specifications. Julie went beyond and ensured the correct parts were delivered and installed that day. Huge Props to the Mechanic as well! Knowledgeable, Honest and not in the business to upsell, but to ensure complete customer satisfaction!
