Roger said it was even hard for him to get a new roof but assured us that we would get ours after jumping thru all the hoops of Allstate trying to duck their responsibility. After months of getting run around from Allstate they denied our claim. And to top it all of this year after being 30 year loyal customer they raised our premiums by 2500.00. With everything involved I was able to save over 700.00 a year between Home and Auto. Most of this savings came from my home policy as they had my house WAY over valued. When we sold our house and moved our things in to storage I contacted their office to ask about renter's insurance. I got a response a MONTH later! I asked how much and got no response. If you don't already know, by just making an online inquiry or call about damage at your house you have made an "official claim". If you want to get new insurance you can't because even though Allstate has paid NOTHING out, you still have a claim and you will be denied insurance at other companies. I wrote an email asking for that claim to be changed to a "recorded" incident and not a "claim." I got shoved off by Linda onto her office help. When I asked how come this couldn't be changed Carly got louder and louder. Of course I got loud because she wouldn't shut up long enough to listen to my question. She then hung up on me.
