Buyer beware!!! I had a motorcycle policy with this agency for 8 years, no issues. I sold the vehicle and called to cancel the policy, spoke with office personnel, and was told no issue. 3 months later, they turned me in to a collection agency for a past due balance of $25.65!! I asked at the time of the call if there was any balance due, and was told that I would probably get a slight credit refund, whatever, no issue. I went on about my life until 12/18/23 when I received a notice from a freaking collection agency!!!! No courtesy call was made asking me to pay the $25.65, no nothing except sending it to a collection agency. I guess 8 years of payments were not good enough and the $25.65 cents was the amount they needed to stick a knife one last time. I am not even disputing the fact that I might have owed them the $25 bucks, for which I happily paid! This the biggest bunch of BS I have ever been a part of. There are not enough words to express my utter comtempt for this type of business practice. Thank god I never had a claim with this agency if this is the incompetence that they demonstrate in billing. After speaking with the manager of this agency, she sent me a copy of an ''estimated" cancellation fee that was emailed to me and informed me that Allstate sent me a notice through the mail....To an address that I live for 6 months of the year, unfortunately for me, I wasn't there in the time frame they sent the notice. Allstate will never get another dime form me, and I would encourage anyone looking for an agent to keep looking past this office. read more
