Turns out agent mislead me and failed to report a moving violation I reported to her and I was later greeted with a $375 a year surcharge for three years. I added collision waiver and what was once a $440 policy became $1605 a year. Do not switch to Amica. They will surcharge you $375 a year for three years for 1 moving violation. My one ticket in 10 years and they surcharge me $1225? Good news is I switched to a better carrier and they were $1000 a year less for my auto and homeowners. BEWARE. Amica agents will give you low quote to get you to switch by not reporting your past violations. Later Amica home office finds violation and you will be surcharged for three years. Very unfare and dishonest.

So they had to remove it so I will shorten it I…read morepurchased motorhome Insurance June of 2024 I found out June of 2026 that this insurance agency wrote my motorhome as a travel trailer so with that being said DMV will not register my motorhome for 2 years and I was leaving for Lake Havasu Arizona to live in July of 2026 So to keep it short the owner and I met he agreed to pay for everything pertaining to the situation including towing the motorhome to Arizona so I could get it registered AZ So once the owner saw how high the bids were coming in he decided to not communicate with me any longer after he took full responsibility then he goes to me so with that being said if this is a type of insurance agency you want to hire that's totally up to you but just to be clear I gave them my registration my VIN number which is obviously on the registration but I also gave it to him through a picture of the sticker that's on my motorhome along with the policy that I had already with Progressive and I wanted the identical policy but the owner said in court that I should have showed the agent a picture of the motorhome so he knew it was in a travel trailer like seriously unbelievable so anyway you've been warned as long as they're collecting your money they're fine but as soon as they mess up they don't even want to give you their liability insurance to put a claim in how ironic for insurance company to not want to give you their insurance information if it wasn't so brutal of what's going on I really would have to laugh but there's nothing funny about this!
