I called to inquire about a commercial auto policy and was hung up…read moreon by the insurance agent, I was later told the man I spoke to was the owner but it's unclear whether that's true. When I called back immediately after being hung up on, I was told by the admin that the agent was unavailable, which seemed very unlikely. I was also told I was being rude and yelling, which isn't the case. Ultimately the admin put me on hold for a few minutes then told me the agent wouldn't be available for some time and asked for my phone number. I declined to give my phone number and said I would come to the office to speak to him. When I arrived the office the admin called the local PD. When the police arrived the admin admitted that I hadn't threatened her or done anything inappropriate, but she didn't know what to do since I showed up to the office so she believed calling the police was the answer. Not only is that a waste of police resources, it was also likely motivated by racism. The police agreed I hadn't done anything wrong and I was able to discuss escalating my complaint about my treatment with them. It was a horrible experience for what should have been a fairly simple exchange of information. I would recommend that anyone who wants to be spoken to and treated respectfully avoid this place like the plague.

I spoke to their agent and disclosed all information in the beginning of the process and during the process. And yet the agent could not properly give me an accurate quote. I addition to providing me with incorrect premiums, I contracted an auto insurance only to find out that my rate was doubled 1 month later. Not only did I loose money but I lost my continuous coverage rating which apparently is a big item in NY. In addition the office manager was in copy to all my emails and did nothing to correct the situation. In all, the company did not properly train their staff, did not take accountability for the issue and did nothing to make the situation right by the customer which was their fault.
