I thought my roof had been damaged by the freeze and called her office. Her staff recommended Corbin Stevens at pristine roofing. He came out and said I had Hail damage, I filled a claim and it was approved. Corbin did my roof and I paid him the money I received from Farmers plus my deductible. I took a closer look at the estimate and realized that I had been paid for screens and also to have the drip edge replaced, Corbin did not do either of those but took the money for it. He eventually gave me the money back for the screens, but still continued to say he didn't owe me anything. Here's where things went south with Jenny, I reached out to her office for help and went there to meet with Travon and showed him the estimate and my contract with Pristine roofing. He said he would get with Jenny and let me know. He called the next day and told me that Corbin's mother was a personal friend of Jenny's and that Corbin told her he did not owe me any money and that it was my word against his even though we all agreed he did not do all the work he was paid for. I made several attempts to have Jenny call me and she would not. I had to contact the district manager for help, which he was able get my money back. I asked Travon if they were going to continue to use Pristine roofing and he said yes that his mother was a personnel friend of Jenny's and they only had one complaint. "Yes, your policy was active and effective yesterday so you can definitely cancel your current policy." Today, I got surprised by a letter from State Farm notifying me that my policy GOT CANCELLED as of July 18, which means that I've had the house UNINSURED for over two weeks by now. Kristy didn't even care to notify me of this cancellation. It's only BY CHANCE that I learned about it reviewing the contents of my mailbox. If my house burns down today (or has burned in the course of the last two weeks) I end up with MILLIONS OF DOLLARS debt having done absolutely nothing wrong and just followed the agent's instructions. Now, what do you think Jeff would do??? NOTHING! He wouldn't even call me not same day and not the day after! Kristy wouldn't do anything either... I would like to point out the following that points to either unprofessional or extremely careless handling unfitting for just any insurance agency: 1. I was literally assured by Kristy that my policy is ACTIVE and that I CAN CANCEL my existing policy. My question on May 23rd: "Just to make sure, could you please again confirm that the policy is now active and I am safe to cancel the existing policy anytime. " Kristy's answer on May 24th: "Yes, your policy was active and effective yesterday so you can definitely cancel your current policy." 2. Kristy didn't even mention the possibility that the policy can be cancelled. So, I very reasonably rested assured that my policy is active as advised by your agent. 3. Kristy didn't even care to notify that the policy has been cancelled. It's only by chance that I learned it by reviewing my mailbox. Which has also resulted in my house being uninsured for over 2 weeks now and myself being exposed to potential millions of dollars losses. Having been surprised by this letter today I have tried to restore my existing policy with my former insurance provided and it has now turned out that I cannot do it. Moreover, they wouldn't even offer me a quote because I've got my policy cancelled by StateFarm. When I addressed Kristy with the request to fix the damage that she had caused she just wouldn't do anything... I even called Progressive directly and their robot just sent me to Mike's business number. I found another broker who spent many hours trying to transfer my policies to her name. She was able to transfer the auto policy but for some extremely weird reason, Progressive said that the ghost business Anderson-Rogers must remain on my homeowner's policy unless I was willing to have the house reinspected and possibly get a new roof (my roof is 5 years old). Progressive could not tell me what the heck has happened to Mike Anderson or the entire business. Why not send an email to all current customers informing us that they are no longer in business. They don't even have to say why - just let us know that we are wasting our time trying to contact them. I'm sure it's very personal - illness? death? prison? who knows????

They never relent in regard to their quest to find the best product for their customer at the lowest rate. For example, in the ninth year of my first 10 year term policy, they "shopped around" for the next 10 year policy in order to get the best product, at the lowest price rather than wait the final year when I entered a different age group. Moreover after they had found me the second term policy for the next 10 years, within one month thereafter, they found me a better product, and I canceled the first, and took the second. They had stayed on top of me in regard to pushing applications, cajoling me in making medical appointments to clarify questions insurers had , and clarifying my medical records with me, and all of that it ended to my advantage, with a good product.
