While he was initially usually attentive, over time it often took several days for calls and emails to be returned, which made navigating our coverage increasingly stressful. I had shared my health issues with Ben so he was aware of my condition, which made timely and clear communication especially important. Despite this, he consistently preferred phone conversations over providing written responses to important insurance questions. We explained that having information in writing was essential for us to reference later, but this request was not accommodated. This left us feeling uncertain and raised concerns about why written communication was avoided. The challenges became even more apparent as my husband's coverage grew more complex. Instead of guiding us directly, Ben encouraged us to contact the insurance company ourselves. Without a full understanding of the intricacies of the plans, this process became frustrating, time-consuming, and stressful, especially since we had engaged an insurance representative specifically to help navigate these issues. We hope our experience can serve as a caution to others so that no one else faces similar difficulties.

Anytime we needed any help she is not available and her " team" are unprofessional and clueless. After making repeated attempts to receive assistance to a question we had about our car insurance, and getting no response or results, i finally expressed frustration with her staff and reminded that they are unprofessional. Then not onlt they threatened me with losing my home owner insurance they accused me of being " Rude". Never again i will do business with Katie Beach Harlan or Farmers insurance company ever again. It's beyond frustrating not only as insurance holders " customers" we have No rights we are NOT allowed to express frustration either. Obviously we are all held hostage by system of insurance companies pay and be treated unprofessionally and get nothing back.

Got into a car accident where the other driver was at fault. Three months later and State Farm has…read morerefused to pay the auto shop, accumulating 18,000 in charges they want me to pay. Katie and her staff never called me, not one time, by phone to assist or ask how I was doing. I actually had to ask if there is a policy against her office helping customers. It's been such a horrible experience working with State Farm. My car is basically in purgatory. I have no idea how this will ever be settled. The shop warned me when I dropped it off that State Farm is the worst insurance company they work with. This has been incredibly stressful and financially devastating. The kicker is I was rear ended at a light and the other party is 100% at fault but my insurance company refuses to cooperate and now I'm out of luck. Please take your business elsewhere. After 25 years and no claims for my auto or house, I am still in shock I'm being treated this way. Good luck.
