Disrespected & Mistreated at State Farm - Justin Ray's Office…read more Date of Incident: May 16th 2025 Location: Justin Ray - State Farm Insurance Agency 1345 E Henri De Tonti Blvd Suite B, Springdale, AR 72762 As a Black woman seeking clarity about an inaccurate quote I received from this office, I was met with clear microaggressions and unprofessional behavior. At 11am, I visited in person with my mother as a witness and brought a recorded conversation to calmly prove what he had originally said before discontinuing our conversation. Instead of listening, Mr. Ray dismissed me, called me rude ahain, and refused to acknowledge the facts. When I asked who I could speak with to escalate the matter, he told me he had no supervisor. This experience was humiliating and upsetting, especially given I was respectful throughout. It's unacceptable for a customer, specially a woman of color, to be gaslighted and silenced for advocating for herself. My mother witnessed the entire interaction! The service was poor, dismissive, disrespectful, and so deeply unprofessional! I will be switching to another agent and posting this review on every platform possible so others are aware. Days before leaving, I realized I should have some paper maps for poor signal areas, and so ordered from AAA over the phone. They offered KS-OK and AR-MO. Perfect! What showed up in the mail though was KS-MO and KY-TN. I had paid a dollar each, and they sent me TWO wrong maps. I left for my trip figuring to pick up maps in gas stations or whatever, but found the Fayetteville AAA shop via a quick online search. Just after opening on a Saturday morning, they were so gracious, humorous and so forth. They got the correct maps in my hand right away and threw in one for all of the central states plus another for Northwest Arkansas that I didn't even think to request but that the young woman thought I might find useful. That map came in handy too. It was simply a fun and productive stop, and got my long road trip off in a positive way.
