Was switched here automatically from a previous Allstate location that closed. This place is horrible. They cancelled my policy and automatically reinstated it. I was out of the Country and when I returned, I received this notice and called to discuss. This was my first time encountering my new Representative and she was rude, uncaring and extremely flip. I immediately called Allstate to switch to another Allstate Office. Every time I deal with Susana McCoy's office I feel like a bother. I have now had three bad experiences with her office and I think I am done now. I have just cancelled my auto coverage and when my renter's policy is up I will completely wash my hands with her office. Before you decide to deal with Ms. McCoy's office please make sure you call at a convenient time for her staff. Be sure to not ask questions because they hate those. Lastly, read your entire policy very carefully, because they will make you to believe one thing and what's in writing will be completely different. If you like the used car salesman environment, call Susana McCoy's office today! UPDATE.... After I posted my original yelp review I received a rather nasty email from Susana McCoy herself. Please keep in mind that I have never spoken with her before today. Any reasonable business professional who cared about customer service would have reached out to me and tried to figure out why I was unhappy with her office. Instead she writes me a email with a very combative tone. This is the type of service I was speaking about in my initial review. Then they got one of their employees to write a positive yelp review to off sit my option. I was told by the young lady in the office that yelp reviews affect the entire office. It was not my intentions to affect anyone's job. I thought yelp was a place where people had the RIGHT to voice their option. Great office and people to work with. Ryan handled all of my questions and concerns about pricing professionally and courteously. He was awesome to work with, straight to the point (no salesy fluff) but also very informative and he definitely knew his insurance stats. Although the time it takes might be a little more than Esurance (same company - Allstate) I felt like dealing with a human being for such an important decision was better than the convenience or time savings of doing it online. It is this level of services that will keep me as a customer for a long time. You can tell he really does care, and in this day and age, that kind of level of service is not often found. I was a customer with Suzie McCoy/Allstate for around 30 years, with I minor homeowners claim & 1 minor traffic claim. When I recently purchased a new (resale) home, I had a professional home inspection & an appraisal by a lender. Unknown to me, Allstate sent an inspector who flunked the roof of my home. Suzie McCoy/Allstate were happy to quickly send me a refund & inform the lender. 3 professional roofers claimed that the roof was not deficient. The neighbors were surprised to see a new roof installed, and the former owner & listing agent claimed the roof was less than 10 years old. I took this matter to corporate Allstate & received no satisfaction. Outside of this review & informing MD, which regulates agents, there is not much else I can do. I feel it is unethical for Suzie McCoy & Allstate to use such an, in my opinion, unqualified company for inspections, & that Suzie McCoy discriminated against me due to my age. If you do business with Suzie McCoy, keep a hand on your wallet & have a snake bite kit handy. I lost someone who I considered a friend of 30 years, but gained a much cheaper, brand name, insurance company for all my needs...home, auto, and PUP. read more
