He was always good about answering any questions I had, and only brought something to my attention if I needed to know about it or if there was an important question, which was great after dealing with some handymen who created more problems in our house than solutions. Ozzy was very polite, friendly and professional, and he's seemed extremely trustworthy and fair when it comes to pricing. We only needed a wall (6ft wide, 8ft tall) removed from our home, because it separated our dining area from our living room. We were turned down by several contractors, saying it was not a big enough project for them, so it wouldn't be worth their time to come out. Somebody suggested we go with a non-licensed contractor, because no licensed contractor would be willing to do a project this small. Even though there were no Yelp reviews for SDOV, the photos looked nice, and they replied quickly to offer a free estimate. They came by to see if the wall might be load bearing, which it was, and emailed me an estimate, which was around what we were expecting to pay. A non-licensed contractor offered a cheaper price, but we were happy to pay a little more for licensed contractors. They removed the wall, installed a supporting beam, patched up the wall and ceiling, replaced the luxury vinyl plank floors, and patched up the baseboards in one day! Removing this wall made a huge difference in our home! Thank you so much, SDOV! We'll definitely be reaching out again for any future home projects.

They worked their butts off pulling the old out, pulling out roots that had gotten under the old driveway, and putting in a bunch of rebar. Got ~ 3-4 quotes and they were reasonable on their quote after some discussion. Would recomend them. Getting additional quotes from them on other work since they're an all-around GC.

I reached out to Oscar to confirm time and we had an appointment set. Prior to the job I even reached out via text with additional questions which he responded to quickly while I was still at Lowes! At the end of the job I asked for a quote to paint the rest of my living room/entry way and was told I would hear back on an available date soon. I'm excited and look forward to working with Gloria Construction again. They're quotes are very fair. The quality of work is great. I would highly recommend! Last year, Nolanco Roofing replaced a very old, flat roof on my California Room. I found Jeremiah…read morepleasant, dependable, and a very honest businessman. His price was reasonable, and the roof of that room looks wonderful! Because of my wonderful experience with him and his company last year, his company was who I called a few weeks ago to get my house's roof totally replaced since it was quite clear that it was on it's way out. Jeremiah promptly sent out Thomas to measure everything and to give me the estimate. The estimate came in at my expectations. Because I already knew that I was dealing with honest people, I must admit that I didn't do what consumers are supposed to do and get more bids. Because another customer rescheduled their project with them, they were able to start work on my roof immediately. They showed up promptly to clear off the old roof, and it was done quickly. They did a nice job cleaning up after themselves. Then, Jeremiah again proved to me how honest he is. First of all, he told me that it is very uncommon to not have to replace any of the boards on the roof but yet I had none that needed to be replaced. Also, when I thought that my fascia boards might need to be replaced by them because they were looking ratty, he told me that they had inspected every board and all were in good condition and did not need to be replaced; they just needed to be painted. Basically, he did not try at all to sell me something that I did not need. My final cost was what the estimate was. That said, my situation was unusual because everything was still in good condition, and another customer might not have everything in good condition which would increase the cost. If that happens, though, with Nolanco you can be assured that what they say needs to be replaced really does need to be replaced. Alex, the roofer did an excellent job of installing the roof. I have already referred my sister to them to do her house. Because of termite damage, she will need a lot of boards replaced. In that case, her price will be higher than the estimate, but I have no doubt that what they charge her for replacing boards will be a fair and competitive price. In case you can't tell, I highly recommend Nolanco for your roofing needs. BTW, I did learn the hard way that you should clap if you want the roofer's attention and not just start talking to him. Alex didn't know that I was there until I startled him by talking to him. He almost fell backwards off of the roof, but fortunately he was able to balance himself. Sorry, Alex! Although I originally asked for just washing windows and two skylights, I ended up having him pressure wash the entire exterior, squeegee the windows and skylights, as well as clean the interior of the garage. He went above and beyond, clearing off the front and back hardscape and redwood deck in addition to getting all the cobwebs from under the eaves and other places I couldn't ever reach. The walls and windows were spotless, and he even cleaned out the edges of the casement windows and the grimy sliding door and window tracks. In the garage, he did a fantastic job on cleaning the wooden rafters. He had to sweep the floor to clean up all the leaves, dust and random pieces of junk that had accumulated over the years, then he pressure washed it.
