When I got chatting to Noel the same day, he said he would stop by on his way home to fit my chandelier. Alltown installed a new 200 amp service in our garage for charging EVs. It was an underground line from the utility pole to our garage, with a pvc conduit, a 200 amp pedestal, a 200 amp circuit breaker panel, a ground rod, and a 48 amp Tesla wall charger. The car charges like a dream far faster than the old 12 amp line that we were using, and we have capacity to add 2 more. They handled the whole project including permitting and communication with Comed. Everything went great, they were clear in their proposal about what they would complete, and what they would not (any landscaping to remove plantings or replace plantings after the project). Once the permits came through the project was quickly scheduled and took 3 days to complete. We will continue to use them for future projects. read more

Hello, I hope all Tesla owners (Model S/X/3/Y) and prospective ones read this, especially ones that live in the Park Ridge or surrounding areas. Noel is the absolute best! I had originally picked another electrician off of Tesla's site, but quickly learned they lacked any special knowledge or training. They even went further to suggest that a 14-30 outlet would be sufficient (Tesla doesn't recommend it). I was fortunate enough to come across Alltown Electric's Yelp reviews. I rarely write reviews. I cannot say enough positive things about Noel and his company. He came out a few years ago to fix an issue that a prior electrician had left a mess. He fixed it properly and efficiently and was much cheaper than other quotes I got. On top of that, he was very pleasant while performing the work. This review however pertains to a recent issue that I just had. I came home to find that the majority of my house did not have power. I scrambled trying to call COMED and I tried to reset my circuit breaker. Nothing worked. On a whim, I called Noel since he was so great a few years earlier. He called me back right away and talked me through the issue, and gave me suggestions to fix the problem. One of his suggestions worked! I offered to send him compensation for the consultation, and he refused. I have referred him to many friends after my initial positive experience, and all have also had very positive experiences. But I could not have been more impressed with his integrity during my most recent interaction. He is the only electrician I plan to ever use, and will continue to recommend him to others without hesitation. You will not be disappointed. read more

I guess I don't understand all the glowing reviews. I contacted them to check the lack of power to my dining room. I was told they would see me the next day at 9 am. Not only did they not show up, but after I called two hours later to inquire about whether they were coming or not, I didn't as much receive a return call. This is beyond unprofessional. If they weren't interested in my business, they simply needed to say so.
