I used to love going here. I never had many horrible experiences. However, last time I was there, I felt rushed and I was out in 10 minutes for an eyebrow appointment. Granted the lady did say she was quite busy with laser services. The manager reached out and I was quite apologetic as I did not want anyone to get into trouble for a review I left. After 5 weeks, I decided to return and unfortunately I was paired with the same lady like last time. Although extremely nice, I think there there needs to be a few more training sessions. She threaded my brows. When she did my right brow, it was fine. But my left, I felt a sharp pain many times but didn't think nothing of it other than my eyebrow hairs not wanting to leave my face. I left I was happy and my eye brows looked good. What I notice when I return home was trauma to my brow bone. Lots of trauma and blood and tender feeling. I ended up applying topical cream for the cuts. I do believe this will be my last session there.

Even before arriving I was impressed with the professionalism provided by Anna on the telephone. She was welcoming and accommodating despite my twice rescheduling. In terms of the service: Nayya was approachable, friendly and knowledgeable. While personally a lovely person, the service was expertly done and adhered to my instructions. Unfortunately my schedule doesn't always match up to Phoebe's so a couple times here and there I had my laser appointment with Anna who is by the way, the sweetest and oh so very caring! Anna is professional, friendly and updates you as she rolls the laser around the areas needed for treatment which is great - cause the laser can get hot! Lol I've been coming to lashes & lipstick for some time and I've always had fantastic experiences with these girls! PS. You know they're doing amazing work when their staffs multiplies like rabbits!! It was not more or less painful that what it normally is but Nina provides great conversation throughout and ensures you are comfortable...in a situation where most would not be. Vashti was able to squeeze me in same day, and did exactly what I asked for. She took a quarter of an inch off the ends and layered the front with a thick face frame (love this, I absolutely despise thinning shears). she was very detailed and made sure i was happy before i got out of the chair and once I was, we settled up. I didn't get a blow dry as I worked from home so didn't need a style done, but i trust she does a great job! The shop is a small one in the Markham and Steeles plaza with ample parking. Very accommodating, skilled hairdresser, and she offers other services like colouring, waxing, threading. Honestly such a great experience, this will be my new go to for my trims! Tip: she takes debit or cash and you can tip on debit!

I have never once been burned or had skin removed when she's done my wax job. Regardless of how simple of a service you request she takes her time and does the job right and isn't worried about how many customers she can get in and out the door just to make money (like some others in that area). From my first visit I could tell that she's not an armature and really cares about her clients.
