I'm new to the area and unfamiliar with good places for personal care places, like waxing, massage, etc. I went for a Brazilian wax, which I've had done before in many places in Orlando and one place in Palm coast about 20 miles away. The waxing experience at Allure was the WORST experience I've ever had. The technician claimed to be professional but was anything but professional. She didn't even introduce herself ; I had to ask her and introduce myself. The room was not too clean or sterile. It looked more like a big bathroom. The product was rough and felt more like cheap wax. Getting a Brazilian wax already is a painful and vulnerable experience; she didn't help ease my discomfort or anxiety. She kept mentioning she was a professional and dismissive of my pain and uncomfortable experiences. I had to come home and remove excess wax she left on my skin. DO NOT go here for any waxing! The other services may be fine but waxing, stay away from here! Unsafe and unprofessional. She will blame you for experiencing discomfort and distress. I'll go back to the Brazilian Wax Spa in Palm Coast. Better experience and product. read more

I was visiting family in the area and stopped in for a facial from Irina. As someone who has been getting European facials for 20 years, Irina does a wonderful job! She is knowledgeable about skincare and gave me several recommendations after I asked her what I could do for my melasma issue. She was through with extractions and the microdermabrasion. I'm still crying. I went in to get an eyebrow wax bc I have to get a new license picture taken and I saw they had good reviews. Everything was fine at first and then it all just went down hill. I told the lady how I had just spent SIX MONTHS growing my eyebrows out bc they had gotten messed up last time I got them done. She said she didn't want to take much off and was going to shape them, I said alright perfect that is what I was going to ask for. As she begins she points out my breakouts and asks what's going on with my skin, then asks if I have eczema. Instantly making me insecure as it would most, I tell her it's stress and she spends the rest of the appointment trying to sell me on their $150+ facials. She waxes and then starts plucking the remaining hairs. It felt like I was repeatedly being stabbed with a tiny knife or what I would imagine getting permanent makeup would be like. Never had that happen before. When she is done she hands me the mirror and I about started balling my eyes out. HALF OF MY EYEBROWS WERE GONE! Each side is less than half the width they were before I came in. Her response was just give it time and maybe you'll like it. I just spent SIX MONTHS growing them out and now they are the smallest they've ever been in my 10 years of getting them waxed. It's worse than when you get them done at the cheap nail salons. While I appreciate that they didn't charge me, that doesn't fix the fact I now have to get a new license photo with HALF MY EYEBROWS GONE. I couldn't even hold back my tears before getting to the car, but she was sure to send me off with a hydra facial brochure on my way out. Here's to another SIX MONTHS of growing my eyebrows out. read more

I just love this Spa! The prices are great! I just bought a cellulite treatment package that is FDA approved which I am super excited about! Irina is amazing and not pushy and she is certified in just about anything. I am scheduled for a Hydra Facial in a week with another Venus treatment! I cant wait to see the results and will edit my review with photos in a couple of weeks! Update. The hydrafacial went good. However, i didnt notice a huge difference in my skin. The vebus treatment did not work for me at all... and i mean nothing. Im 33, i eat healthy and work out. The only thing that has helped me with burning off cellulite is exercise and the keto diet.
