So, this was not a great experience for us. We only saw our server twice throughout the meal and our second round of drinks took almost twenty minutes to get to our table. It was the first time we have turned something down in a long time. The food was ok overall, however the vegetables were barely cooked when stating that they were and the lamb was not cooked to the temperature requested. To be frank it looked like the meal had been sitting under the heat lamp and died while waiting for our server to return with it. Management was very nice and quickly came over to speak with us. A point I would like to make is not everyone is looking for a discount and giving one doesn't make things go away. We wanted someone to listen to our concerns not give us a 50% discount.

I absolutely love eating here! I often take people when they are visiting town here for something nice and affordable. The thing I love the most about them was their holiday meals. They started to offer last year. Hands-down, it was the best and easiest Thanksgiving meal I've ever had. I was in fact, looking up when I can place my pre-order for this year just yesterday

TLDR: food was delicious - great for sharing / family meal. Sangria was not very flavorful. It was pretty busy for a Friday night but they got us in quickly and service was also quick ! Good came out within 30 minutes. The place has a stove fireplace in the middle of the main room that keeps it nice and cozy. Taverna board ($130 for 4) was BEAUTIFUL. It was almost a pity to tear into it. Lamb, beef skewers, and bacon-wrapped pork were so tender, you could cut them with a butter knife ! The pork was not my favorite, just because the sauce had a funky cheese flavor and I'm not a fan of funky cheese. The board also came with shrimp croquettes, a Caesar-like salad, roasted veges, calamari, roasted potatoes and a couple dipping sauces. Dare I saw the potatoes were the best part of the board ... Can't wait to come back and try the paella! ($65 for 2 people)

We decided to pop in here for a bite after our wine walk. We ordered the mezze which came with 4 dips...not a good decision. The olive dip (tapenade) was way too sweet. I don't know if there was added sugar or honey but it wasn't good...the feta walnut dip was probably the best of the bunch. It was a little on the spicier side. The tzatziki and hummus were not memorable. The patatas bravas was too oily and too saucy. The service and ambience were fine.

One of my favorite tapas places! I took my colleague here and it was her first time. We had white sangrias and they were divine! We shared a Surf board and we loved it! We substituted the rosemary potatoes for the patatas bravas (SO good!) and the combo of salad, shellfish, croquettes, calamari and even the bacon wrapped seafood was delicious! We ate outside and it was so nice! Seattle summer ftw! Our waitress was nice and courteous!

Fast and attentive service, great deals on happy hour, solid food, clean and homie restaurant. Came in for Happy Hour after work and had nice date night with the girlfriend. In an age where happy hours seem to fall flat, Tablas had a fairly extensive happy hour menu that I believe would satisfy most cravings. We had ordered 4 items and 2 drinks for less than 60 bucks total. All the food was fairly flavorful, different because of the type of cuisine they had, and came out nice and hot. Highly recommend this for a nice HH! Definitely one of the better ones in the area.

Fast service and amazing happy hour menu. I forget that this restaurant is located in the mill creek town center. It's cozy and vibey all at the same time. The happy hour is super affordable and value in portions! They don't skimp on their portions and have a good variety of selection. The calamari was crispy and soft as u bite into it. Love how it wasn't overly fried. Salmon pesto flatbread was also super flavorful and the asparagus chunks were a nice surprise added. Lamb sliders from the regular menu were okay, but a little dry. Wish it was juicier. You need to order one drink per person for happy hour and honestly, they had lots of cheap options which was a nice add. I'm definitely adding this to my favorite happy hour list up on this area. Will be back again to try the other selections!

Met friends for dinner and was glad to have made a reservation. Place was packed on a Saturday night at 6:30! Breezy was our server and she was spot on the entire night. Never failed to refill our waters or check on us. Really a fantastic server! We ordered the spicy shrimp, pita & dip platter, crispy Brussel sprouts, bacon wrapped filet and flan. All delicious! Average price was about $16-18 per dish. The three of us cleared all the plates! Parking was easy to find, the restaurant is warm & inviting and the host greeted us with a smile upon arrival.

Went their on my Husband Birthday and it was a real disappointment . We took Hummus and Spicy potato braves for appetizer. Pita which came was undercooked and Hummus was just lacking taste. How can a simple dish be made so bad . Potato's braves , potato need to be cripsy and they were not again lack flavor Service was quick we didn't had to wait much and ambience was just normal . After appetizers we wanted to order for main Course and then server said they are not having flat bread and tacos which were main course menu as they are closed on Monday but that Monday they were opened , this reason just doesn't justify that you don't have any main course ? If that was the case you should have told us at start we could have gone to some other places .had to take just grill vegetable With pita as main course . Not recommended at all

The pita with 4 dips was the best thing we got here. My boyfriend says the lamb is really good too. Such a beautiful restaurant but, food seems to be premade or something. Our whole order of 6-7 items came out in less than 10 minutes. We ordered the turf plate with chorizo and mussels instead of just chorizo. I don't know. The whole thing seemed to not be good or put together. Honestly the mussels were good! That is it. The beef skewers are terrible. Along with the pineapple chicken "wraps". Our servers were amazing and the staff is great. The food just sucks besides small dishes in my opinion.

Great location and nice ambiance. Family friendly. Came with a girlfriend. Service was friendly. The roasted veggies were super delicious. The shrimp pin top of the dip was alright. Good flavor but kind of a small portion in my opinion. There was more sauce than the dip which was a bummer. Overall had a good time and wouldn't mind coming back here.

    Kids burger...decent

I had high hopes for this place. Tapas! Who doesn't like tapas. We were seated and the place is empty the entire night. Service was quick and food started coming out but weirdly the salads came out last and about 10 minutes after all the hot food came out. Onto the food. 1) kids meals: burger was decent, but the pizza is a small pita with cheese and sauce. Get the burger. 2) octopus: it was decent. It was charred and crispy on most sides except one side where it was kind of slimy. Wish it had the consistent crispy crust on all sides. It was tender though and the potatoes it came with was good. 3) sardines: the fish was good. Came with crackers and I felt bread or pita would better accompany it than the crackers. 4) fire roasted veggies: Brussels sprouts, 1 piece of artichoke and 4 pieces of asparagus thinner than a number 2 pencil. Just call it a plate of Brussels sprouts with garlic sauce. 5) dip. None of the party cared for the dip. The tzatziki was ok. The olive tapenade was ok as well. The hot pepper spread tasted funky and the hummus was the worst. Tasted like it had an entire bottle of white pepper dumped into it. Who makes hummus with white pepper? All 7 in our party could only taste the pepper. The pita was the highlight of this dish. We also only got 8 slivers of pita. Looking at other Yelp review pictures we had half the pita others get. Cutbacks? Service was good, but that was about it. Would we come back? Maybe, but not likely.

    Free dessert on my birthday!

Great idea , needs flavor refining. I was so excited to try this place of picky foods. The menu looked amazing- bruschetta and charcuterie boards, happy hour, picky foods all speak my language. The service was great, restaurant was clean but the food lacked flavor. Good presentation, yet flavorless and disappointing. It just didn't hit the mark. Bummer.

    Is this place dog friendly?

Yes they are!!! I just recently took my dog. The only thing is it's a first come first outdoor seating. There are about 8 tables outside, so I would recommend you call first before arriving.

I can't sit at the bar with my kids. Is the happy hour menu available in the main dining area?

Happy hour is available on the patio and that is all ages

Can I make reservations here? Looking to seat about 8-10 people.

Yes plenty of room call ahead!

La Gloria is the exception. Reviews glow, but since you have seen my score, it's clear there is room for improvement. Once seated, we were served a Tostada. This was a single small fried tortilla with beans, cabbage and salsa. Probably cost less than $.25 in material, but sells for around $7. Now whenever, I talked to my God Mother, rest in peace, about a new Mexican restaurant, her first question was always the same, "How were the Frijoles?". These beans were creamy, well-seasoned and flavorful. The best refried beans I've tasted in some time. I still say the appetizer is overpriced, but I also see why they serve you one free for dining in. We started with chips and salsa. I still say, they should be free, but at $4, it's a little tough to complaint, but I will. The chips came on a dinner plate. A dinner plate of chips would be about the same size as a restaurant basket of chips, however, there was a large bowl big enough for soup with the smallest amount of salsa in it. So now, 25% of that surface space is gone. This bowl which most likely holds 16 oz has about 3 ounces of salsa, in it and 1/3 of the plate space is empty, So you have enough chips for one person and barely enough salsa for dipping. The salsa was also tart, no heat, no seasoning, we were very disappointed. Last, if you charge me for chips and salsa, it better be bottomless, but once the chips were gone, they removed the plate and bowl without offering to refill either. There were a couple items that looked good to me, but they both had squash. Sorry, I've never heard of squash in Mexican food, unless it's vegan, but maybe it's popular in the region this family is from. Rather than ask if it could be removed, I decided to go with the Carnes Asada. The food took a while to arrive, but they said everything is made from scratch and fresh, so I anticipated a meal worthy of El Presidente himself! Now, clearly this place was not without its flaws, but this was the best Carne Asada I've ever tasted. I was really skeptical, because it was thick cut and when Carna Asada is thick cut certain things tend to happen, it's not cooked evenly, the meat isn't seasoned well enough, so bites end up being bland. No, this was juicy, well-seasoned and cooked evenly, flawless. It also came with a generous scoop of guacamole, that didn't really impress. It was also served with Fried Cheese, no idea what that is, sounds like something served at the fair on stick. I got several tortillas that were hot and fresh and a small cup of whole beans that could have used some crumbled cheese on top. There was also a large portion of rice, but the flavor was a bit fishy. I don't know if they used a seafood broth, but for me it was inedible. There was also a smoky, spicy salsa served, but again, it was a tablespoon. Stop being so cheap with the salsa! This also would have been a far better salsa to go with chips than what was served. Glad I tasted everything, but not sure I would order it again. I didn't eat half of what was served do to taste which means I overpaid. If we do make it back, it would probably be for happy hour. That way we could sample a couple other items in a smaller portion for less. Would I recommend this place, sure, but not without the above cautions included. I like to clean my plate and feel like I got a deal, neither happened here due to some questionable choices in flavor or seasoning. The people could not have been nicer, but I can't say we left completely satisfied.
