She had an outstanding personality that made me really comfortable which is great since it's a fairly intimate service (depending on what you're there for). The facility was extremely well kept and clean. The only reason I didn't rate a full 5 stars is because I did discover a few spots hair was left when I got home. When paying the higher costs for the service, I wouldn't expect to find any missed patches and there were a few. Overall, I'd give them another try due to the friendly and comfortable atmosphere. If I walk away again with missed patches, at that point I'll explore other options for waxes but I'm optimistic that next go around will be better.

Shortly after starting there, my waxer left and the one the store assigned to me next was BRUTAL (I have a very thick, full beard, so getting the edges waxed needs to be done correctly). Therefore, I researched the waxers on staff and saw that Alicia had gotten outstanding reviews, and specifically concerning my needs, and I have been going to her ever since. Alicia does so well, I recommended my best friend to go to her, since his girlfriend likes his face completely smooth, but, his beard grows in like mine, and her tips from each of us far exceed the paltry percentage she gets per customer from EWC. European Wax offers year long passes, where customers can go as often as necessary, and I since I need to go every two weeks to minimize the how much hair is being pulled at one time, I started getting those, since it would save a lot of money. I have five months left before the current year is up. My best friend also bought a year pass, after experiencing Alicia's skills and the lasting results. In the time I have been going to this location, the store has gone through SEVEN managers, with the latest one being Courtney, who has been there a month and a half. And now, Alicia is fired. Funny how the SIX managers BEFORE Courtney, did not fire Alicia, so, it should not take a rocket scientist to figure out who is the problem. Since my waxer is gone, one I trusted and counted on to do the job right (and we always have a great rapport), and I hold those in charge of the store, above the manager level, responsible, I will NOT be coming back to European Wax Centers, ever, for my business. I also want the balance of my pass fees refunded. When I talked to Courtney, she said she could only give me store credit. When I asked to for the corporate number, she said that the location was a franchise, so there is no corporate tie. After some digging, I called Courtney back and asked to speak to her bosses, Lauren and Jacqueline. She said she would pass the message. After not hearing back from either of them, I went into the store and asked her in person for their numbers. She said she could not give out the numbers, but, had left a message with them about my, "concerns". Later, she called me back and claimed that I had gone enough times that there would not be any prorate left on the balance. I do not appreciate European Wax Center for bouncing Courtney from the San Tan Village location to the Tempe Market Place location, because she could not work and play well with others, there (funny thing about the internet, things of record NEVER go away), and I do not appreciate Courtney for firing Alicia when six other managers prior had the management skills to not fire her, nor do I appreciate her gatekeeping the contact information for her bosses. But, that's ok, I will find it and let them know what I think.

About 3 years ago, I wanted to get permanent eyeliner. I was very nervous about this procedure, but was willing to pay extra in order to get good results. A friend referred me to Joe who has a great reputation. The pigment did not hold well on my skin (not his fault), so after each appointment, Joe told me to come back again until we got it perfect. I returned 4 times and finally left, completely happy. I absolutely love my eyeliner. It looks so natural and right now, they still look amazing. The color and way he did them is exactly what I wanted. I then heard about Brittany, who does eyelash extensions. I only had eyelashes done from one other person and they always fell out 7-10 days later. I tried Brittany out and she truly is amazing. Her lashes lasted me 3-4 weeks and were reasonably priced. I went to her for about a year, but live 2 hours away, so, unfortunately had to quit making the drive. I then went to Derrick, who does microblading. I 100% trust this salon so instantly knew I would go to him because everyone in the salon is great. He took his time drawing on my brows, making sure they were exactly what I wanted. The color was the tricky part because I am a red head. However, they turned out amazing! It has been a few months and the color has faded more than I hoped, but all in all, I am pleased with the procedure. I will definitely return there for my touch-ups and any other large procedure! The salon is clean, the customer service is great, and they are very professional and care about their customers. I would recommend Allure to anyone! read more

I've been doing electrolysis sessions the last few months with Derrick, and I absolutely recommend him and the entire practice for anyone looking to get cosmetic or skincare procedures done. The entire experience has actually been joyful! I'm not accustomed to cosmetic procedures and am a bare-minimum kind of person when it comes to vanity (no judgement to the beautiful glam queens of the universe whatsoever), but I often felt super judged at other places I've tried for hair removal/dermatology. The vibe at Allure is the opposite - positive and open, and they answer questions with accessible information. I actually found this practice by chance, knowing I was taking a plunge buying a groupon but that removing facial hair is vital, I went for it. I could not have been luckier! This business is family owned/operated, and they are so incredibly chill and helpful with scheduling, cancellation, and sending you home with sample sized care creams etc. Derrick is always honest with his pricing, very professional/highly trained, and friendly! Which is extra nice during painful and potentially awkward procedures (electrolysis is painful literally no matter what, just the nature of the treatment). Also, the office itself is clean, welcoming, and organized. I've been searching for a place I trust for awhile, and this is it! I have been going to Allure since sometime in 2012. It started with laser hair removal on my legs and branched into laser hair removal on other areas, then chemical peels, cool peels, microdermabrasions, dermaplaning, facials, hydrafacials, massage, you name it. I moved away almost 2 1/2 years ago, and I have missed Allure so bad, including Brittany and Derek. They are the best. They have your best interest in mind. They do a fantastic job. I happen to be in town right now after having moved away 2 1/2 years ago, and I immediately booked an appointment at Allure for a hydrafacial. And it was a wonderful hydrafacial. I look great, I feel great, and it was wonderful to see Brittany and Derek after such a long time. There's always a family atmosphere and a friendly and welcoming vibe, and they are always genuinely thankful for their customers. Darian at the front desk was new to me after having been away for so long, but she is a bright and lovely girl who was very nice to interact with. I highly recommend Allure. I've never once had a bad experience and I appreciate them so much and how they have taken care of me so well over the years. I began going to Allure Infinite Beauty based off a suggestion from another client. I am so glad I did. I have never done anything skin-related before, but as I started noticing my face starting to age, I decided to make a consultation to learn about what they had to offer. Brittany is so knowledgeable and took time to explain what the different services were, as well as what my skin would benefit from based off of my concerns. She takes the time to answer all of my questions, which always happens to be a lot since I am new to this. We have been doing both micro needling and chemical peels and I can see such an improvement in just a few months. I feel comfortable that I'm in good hands and finally found a place I can trust. I am a 30-year-old female who suffered from cystic acne, acne scars and melasma (patches of dark skin that appear on areas on the face). I had microdermabrasion, dermapen, and a chemical peel done on my face two weeks ago. To say that I am satisfied would be an understatement. I am thrilled with my results. I had the pleasure of Brittany working on me who is an excellent esthetician. She is very knowledgeable about the products she used and has extreme professional bedside manner. The procedures were not painful there was a little stinging sensation but that's normal after getting chemical peels. My face was red for a day and a half and peeled for a few more days after but again that is to be expected especially after a chemical peel. I chose Allure based on past Yelp reviews. I was not disappointed! I started with Derek for eyebrow microblading. I have very fine, blond eyebrows and I'm beyond tired of either not having visible eyebrows or having to put on makeup to feel like I don't look like a chemo patient. Derek took his time to find the right shade and shape for my face and I absolutely love the result. Next I saw Brittany for the Ultimate Facial. Derrick is great. He does a very professional job on permanent eye liner. I am not able to wear eye liner due to my allergies and have always though about having the liner tattooed on. I asked other people for referrals and a friend gave me Derricks name. An appointment was super easy to get. I have other tattoos but was nervous about having the tattoo gun up close by my eye. Derrick jokes with you and makes you very comfortable so the nervousness goes away. He did a fantastic job. I came across this place through Groupon, and started with Derek and had never had electrolysis or laser before. They were always on time, everyone is so nice, and the environment is very comfortable and safe feeling. I had long sessions and lots of time to talk to Derek. He is a great conversationalist and listener. The reason for 4/5 stars is that after my Groupon was over, I went to a (more pricey) place closer to my house. I'm not sure if the new place had newer machines or just a different type, but both were less painful and caused less skin reaction. know those machines are crazy expensive, so I don't want to fault Allure for that. read more

I have permanent eyeliner top and bottom. Today, I had my bottom eyelash lines touched up (4 weeks ago my upper eyelash lines were done). Amazing, they look amazing!!! Fast and as close to pain free as one can get having a tattoo done. On both occasions little to no swelling or pain after. First off I just want to say the staff is so nice!! I had my first Brazilian wax today at Allure, needless to say I was super nervous being spread eagle in front of a stranger.The esthetician Brittany was so nice and kept talking to me through out the wax to distract me from the reality of my hair being ripped out lol. I've always battled with non existent eye brows as I've gotten older. I decided to look into microblading but after consulting with Taylor we decided to go with a permanent tattoo instead and I couldn't be happier! She took the time to find the right shade, shape and fading that fit my face without looking like makeup. These photos are right before and after. The color looks a little dark due to being new and some bruising which will lighten in a few days and the recovery is super easy compared to microblading. I highly recommend you Allure! read more

There is then another door behind the desk which leads to the Ultra Smooth Skin lobby. It is a slight scavenger hunt, but there are a lot of signs and employees to help guide you! Both estheticians I worked with were AMAZING! They are so insanely friendly and educational. They are very open to communicating knowledge and information around any treatments or procedures you may have. They are ranked very high in the valley and there are no questions as to why. I recommend checking out some of their packages on Groupon as well! The deals for the technology and treatment you receive are ABSOLUTELY worth every single penny. However, they were incredibly nice about it and informative as to why they avoid doing tear trough injections (blindness, lumpy aftermath, etc). They also gave me other possible solutions for my eye bag and were super kind and patient about it. So even though I actually got nothing done, I'm still super happy about the service here. I'll definitely come back if I decide on getting something that they do offer here!

One thing I realized was "safety & quality over cheapest price" My first round Stacy set true EXPECTATIONS with me since I had NO BUTT ANYWHERE. She makes sure she does what she needs to do for the fat that is transferred to live and I retained 85-90% of fat from the 1st round!! She is always on call for you and checks on you daily after procedure. I've never felt more safe with a doctor before being so scared to doing a BBL in general as a single mother. During the consultation I was of course asked for my medical history which I provided I let them know I had fibromyalgia at that time. (it is not the owner or the manager in the room with you during the initial consultation, so they are not fully aware of the information provided) I also opened an account through cherry which is a financial institution The Glow Method is affiliated with in order to pay for the procedure per their options. I scheduled my procedure for about 4 months in advance. I made several on time payments as directed. At my Pre-Op appointment I went in and discussed the procedure with Eliza and she advised me against the procedure due to my Fibromyalgia and how much it would hurt, which I was very grateful that she let me know at the time. (When I mentioned this to the manager later on, she brushed it off and stated she wasn't aware that this was the reason for my cancellation ) So I asked Eliza if I could cancel and get a refund for what I've paid into the procedure and she said it would be no problem. Well.. it was a problem. The Glow Method ended up refunding Cherry only a partial payment and they kept the rest around $1500. After several weeks of going in circles with Amber the manager, I was basically told nothing could be done to refund anything else as the Cherry account was closed and they were keeping the deposit of 20% of the total $7,500 which I was not informed about in any consultation (read the fine print ladies) Amber kept having me track her down to figure out what was going on which was incredibly frustrating. She just kept saying she's working on it... If she knew they were keeping the money, then why have me go in circles trying to contact them to follow up? The "transparency" they claim to have was not coming through. I guess the company must be in dire need in order to keep that much money for absolutely no services provided. At one point Amber even mocked and said, "well what do you want me to do give you a check? we don't have checks here at the office haha." This happened to a friend of mine a few years back where they also kept her $2000 cash and wouldn't refund it and that was not 20% of her total. (I had hoped I wouldn't go through the same thing I guess) So if you plan on getting a procedure of this magnitude keep in mind that you will lose any money you have paid into the procedure if you need to cancel, even if you were advised to do so.... This was an incredibly expensive "consultation" I guess I donated to a poor pathetic cause. Ladies there are so many other places to receive these types of services. Don't risk this amount of money on a company that responds in this manner when something comes up.. especially a medical reason. You just never know what can happen by the time your procedure arrives and you may need to cancel, you don't want to lose that much money.
