Lady was very friendly but sloppy with color. Made me bleed in multiple places. My gel manicure bubbled less than 24 hours after I got it done. So I spent $100 for nothing. Very disappointing.

Will NEVER GO AGAIN! Went in for a mani. The lady who worked on my hands was friendly up until I asked for a 3rd coat for my nails. She was sloppy and had nail polish all over my nail beds. When I asked her if she can clean it up. She got upset and instead of using acetone to remove the nail polish off my skin she started using the nail clipper and clipped away the skin that had polish on it. Then she got the nail drill and filed away the nail polish away from my cuticle making my nails look like I had gotten them done 2 weeks ago. When I saw what she did, I didn't let her finish my other hand. She got more upset and told me to leave. Horrible customer service!!!! I told her that she shouldn't rush it because I was paying for her service. But she continued to tell me to leave. Honestly, I can't believe she lets her customers walk out this way.

Fast and friendly service. Got a pedicure on a walk-in and really enjoyed my experience. I am a harsh critic of nail salons and customer service, but I really like this place. I love having my toes done Ann knows how the get the ingrown nails out from my toes. The family is never in a hurry when they start getting busy. And when they say wait 5 minutes they mean it. I took a risk and cheated on my regular nail salon to try this one because of their dip powder. I looked up the reviews and what also intrigued me was their drink service. When I arrived, I was greeted immediately by a friendly lady whom made me feel so welcomed! Overall it was an okayyyy experience. I didn't get offered any beverages and it took almost 3 hours to get a pedi and dip powder on nails. I arrived about 230 and left around 515-520. I could not understand what took so long because there was probably less than 5 other customers there. It would've been a good thing if i felt they were actually taking their time in pampering me, but my pedi went so fast and I even upgraded to the callus remover/parrafin wax like I usually do at other places but my feet did not leave silky smooth. Its so weird to say but what really surprised me was how well they spoke english. Generally, english is not the first language but they spoke it so well. I sometimes have a hard time at other new places to explain what I want and then get shy and just settle because I didnt want to go through the discomfort of trying to make them redo my nails because Im not satisfied. BUT here at this salon, I was able to ask questions I had about the dip powder and get results! I really liked the dip powder service and how they made my nails look. This is DEFINITELY way more natural than I am used to but it looks pretty! I don't know if I'll go here again though, it just took too long for no reason.

One of the best experiences I have had at a nail salon! The ladies that were working were all extremely sweet and patient. They were attentive and careful; clearly care about their craft and making customers comfortable. Both my friend and I got fills and were very pleased with our sets. I cannot stress enough how nice they were, I would drive the 40 mins just to get my nails done here again. Also at a great price. Thank you for one of my favorite sets ever!

I waited on giving this review because I wanted to see if my nails would last and if I would continue to receive the same service at each visit. And I have. As soon as I walk in, I'm greeted with a smile and I don't wait long. Well, now, after them being open for awhile, if you're getting acrylics, you'll want to make an appointment. But for anything else, you should be ok. Tracy does my nails. And her work is amazing. If she doesn't feel it looks right, she'll fix it. If you don't like it, she'll fix it (I haven't had that problem, but she offers). One of the many perks, they serve drinks while you're there. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. They're not pushy about services. And like I said, my nails look great. Its bittersweet to see them get so popular. I'm happy that their business is growing, but said that my secret spot isn't so secret anymore. They have a large selection of colors as well!

I can't say how much I love my nails and love this place! Always great service, clean environment, and perfect every time. They have just about every gel color imaginable and the prices are very reasonable. Oh and did I mention they have drinks and alcoholic beverages!

I came here without an appointment and was helped quickly. The woman that helped me (forgot to ask her name) was VERY nice and friendly. I'm giving it a 3 stars because I came to this salon wanting chrome nails as a reviewer had posted photos of her cute chrome nails, the technician said she did not do chrome. I then asked about foiled designs, she did not do that either. I then showed her a picture from THEIR yelp (the black and gold nails that seemed to be dipped in black & gold glitter) and she did not know how to do that either. I was very disappointed by that point, as the reason I went there was due to the beautiful photos on here. I ended up choosing this grey gel powder instead. The woman was, again, VERY nice and she offered me a drink as well. They have coffee, mimosas, mojitos, orange juice etc. I think this is a very nice complimentary service from the salon. After getting started with my full set of nails another client came in and when the second nail technician was done with her client I was moved to another chair to have the 2nd nail-tech finish the job. My initial tech then assisted the new client. The new technician said she did not know how to do color gel, but she did do her best to get it right, which I appreciate. At the end, the 1st technician came back and did some minor work on my hands and I was set to go. I honestly did not enjoy being moved from one technician to another, especially one without knowledge. I also had(or felt like i had) to tip both technicians. Aside from that, the atmosphere was nice and the techs were also nice and took their time. I would recommend calling in BEFORE you go to make sure they can do the specific work you are looking for. Don't think that all technicians have the knowledge to do the trendy nails that you see in these photos.

I love this place. The owners really care about what they do. From the moment you walk in, you are pampered and spoiled. These ladies have perfected their craft and enjoy their clients. It is nice to walk into this place and know their only job is to make you happy and beautiful. They really care. Be sure to let them make a specialty drink for you. Here on Christmas vacation visiting family so I popped in for a mani pedi. Great service and sweet ladies! I had a mimosa and enjoyed my kid free time! I did a regular pedi with a nail overlay for my hands...in TX we refer to it as Nexgen or dip nails I guess. They did a great job! They're a little longer than I wanted but I'm sure if I would've communicated better she would've done them shorter. Overall, highly recommend! I also suggest making an appt just in case. read more

Where do I start! Ladies trust me this is the place! As soon as you walk in the customer service is out of this world! They have all the trendy new colors , more mixes than I could pick from and the time and detail is extraordinary! Not to forget the fact that they make you complimentary mimosas with your service , they even offered my kids virgin ones . I'm an in awe ! Me and my best friend were looking for a place we haven't been to in lemon grove and wounded up at this beautiful quiet little spot. I'll say right off the bat that this is our new favorite spot and I can't wait to take my bestie back for more pampering! Inside, it looks very beautiful and clean and this place has a bar which was a very nice bonus compared to the other nail shops in lemon grove. The women were very kind and professional and did a fantastic job our pedis. The price is above what I'm used to paying but I wouldn't call it pricey. It's worth it and I love the color selection! read more

I love coming here to get my nails done! They always do a great job but my favorite part is how lovely and sweet everyone is. A special mention for Kim and Laura, but honestly everyone is great! It's always a fun time! They have about a million gel colors, lots of good nudes and glitter options. You have to try the ice coffee, it's like crack! I get compliments everywhere I go on my nails. They are popular and busy so I recommend making an appointment before coming in, especially if you have a big group. read more

No complaints here! The place is very clean, everyone is very nice and welcoming. I been here 10 times already and everytime I left very happy. I always call before I come because they get busy. Yes they offer you drinks but sometimes they have forgotten but that's ok. They were busy. I love how they always do my nails. I've come back once or twice for a broken nail (within a week) and they fixed it for me. There prices are fair. I get acrylic fill with gel color and only pay $30! I see Laura, Kim, or Anne. They are all great! Definitely reccomend this place. read more

My second time here and I finally meet the manager and she decides to argue the fact of why she couldn't do my mani/pedi at the same time! I was here when they opened and she stopped the other lady that was going to do my mani because the was a walk.in customer. Moral of my complaint is she started telling me if you knew the business you would know why we can't do both right now! So I told her if she knew the business she would have since my gel cost more than a regular pedi so now I've walked away with only a pedi so who is the one who is not business oriented? Arguing with a paying customer over something like that is not appropriate! I will never come back here again there's plenty of nail shops for me to take my business to!! read more

UPDATE: I came back to get my nails done. First I called to see if they had time to fit me in for a Full Set & Pedicure. They said yes so I went in. I got my pedicure first which was amazing! However, my Full Set is not. I asked for natural round ombré nails. As you can tell by the photos, my nails are extremely thick, which makes them not look natural. They almost look like bubbles on the tops on my nails. Also, the lengths are all different and the shapes are all different as well. My biggest issue is that the ombré is not blended well. On all 10 nails, there is a distinct line of where the white in the ombré begins. Also, I feel like my nail tech (Kim) rushes through my nails because it began getting busy after my arrival. I understand not wanting to make other costumers wait too long, but the final product should be better than I received. Unfortunately, I don't believe I will be back. Although the pedicure was wonderful (I wish I knew the name of the lady that did it), it's not practical for me to go to Allure for a pedicure and somewhere else for a my fingers. I'm bummed because I really wanted to like this place. - I rated 2 stars because the pedicure was amazing but not my full set. I brought my sister here back around Christmas and she loved her nails, so when I decided that I wanted mine done, I choose to come here. I'm super happy and pleased with my decision. I didn't make an appointment, so when I got there and the front desk lady told me it would be an hour wait, I was fine with that. It actually only took about 20 minutes before they were ready for me. They have a huge selection of gel polishes as well as colored powders. I always opt for a nude/natural color, so I decided on a colored powder. I choose #008. It's a really pretty pale pink with a barely there glitter throughout. The nail tech, Rose, was sure to let me know that if I decided to change my colored powder next time that we would have to take my current set off and start over. I'm pretty confident that I'll just continue to get this color because I can't have "Wild" nails at work. Overall I'm super happy and impressed with the quality of work and will definitely be back. :) read more

I would really have liked to given a legitimate review of Allure Nails and Spa, but I never got a chance. I walked in on a Tuesday, liked what I saw and made an appointment for 3pm on Wednesday. On that Wednesday I walked in at 3:05, made my appologies for being 5 minutes late, but that was because at the last minute I remembered the receptionist telling me the day before that I had to tip with cash. This being a credit card world, I had to go to an ATM and get cash. I signed in and sat down. By 3:15 on Wednesday I was sitting on one of their hard wooden folding chairs, understanding that sometimes there are unseen delays. At 3:30 on Wednesday I had received multiple apologies from the receptionist and was still sitting on that hard chair. At 3:50 on Wednesday the two lovely grandmothers who had been there ahead of me finally gave up and left, and at 3:55 with my appologies to the very kind receptionist, who was dying of embarrassment, I finally decided to leave. Simply put, I believe that if you have made an appointment then your appointment should be honored immediately. I was actually, sincerely apologetic when I was 5 minutes late, but to wait 55 minutes was uncalled for. A nail salon is a business, it is not a doctor's office full of sick people needing attention. It's a business vying for customers, dependable, regular, paying customers. My sympathy to the receptionist, who tried several times to light a fire under the nail technicians to no avail. read more

Well, where do I start first when you go please give yourself plenty of time to enjoy the experience because these ladies (family owned and operated) are amazing, kind and caring. If you don't know what you need or want they can help you and will always make sure it's what you want. Always remember that it's not always black-and-white that sometimes you might have to wait sometimes or it may take a little bit longer but always remember you will always get the best treatment and the best service. Went here for the first time today because I was in the area they had good reviews so I thought it would be ok. Well let me tell you my gel manicure came out horrible. They are bumpy uneven and the nails are crooked I couldn't believe she thought this was ok. I had to leave to another engagement so I didn't have time for her to redo them but I told the front desk I was not paying for this. All I can say is, I'm so grateful to have found such a place so close to my regular nail shop. Ever since my move here, I have not found been able to find a nail salon until yesterday. I came across this place by accident. I was on my way home after driving around for a hour (in North Park) trying to find another place. I figured why not check it out. I did and I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful my experience was. From polite and attentive staff members, to the cleanliness of this salon. I came in to get a quick fill and I am absolutely stunned! My nails technician Rose did a fabulous job and she was so sweet! The shop itself was nice, calm, quiet and very clean so that's a plus. Also the receptionist I think her name is Jacky was also very kind to offer some drinks as well. I definitely recommend this place ! read more

I love this salon. It's the cleanest one in lemon grove. They also have all the color choices and serve drinks during your treatment. Staff is very friendly. I thought I found my go to place for nails. However, today they made me decide to not come back unless I'm in a desperate need to. I waited 30 minutes past my appointment time and when I asked how much longer, Jackie said at least 30 more minutes. I wish she would've let me know that ahead of time. I had plans at 6pm tonight and wanted to get my nails done beforehand. However, I am not waiting an hour after my appointment time. That's just inconsiderate and inconvenient for me. read more

I thought I had finally found my nail place, but I was very very wrong. Went to get a full set and a pedicure. I also took my mom and sister to get a regular manicure and pedicure. My sister never mentioned that the lady had hurt her, but I do recall my sister saying "ouch my finger" and I had told her if she could be more gentle with her. Days later we realized this in her finger now we have to take her to the doctor to see whats going on with her nail. Not to mention I made an appointment at 5:30pm and was there till 8:40pm due to the fact they had nobody to do my full set. She was even mad at me because she had ruined my nails cleaning them with acetone before inserting them inside the uv light and I told her to fix it. She was mad because it was after hours, but I had made an appointment in the first. Plus to add the cherry on top my full set only lasted a week and a half. Too bad I can't do zero stars. read more

I had an appointment, but ended up still having to wait longer than 30 minutes. I initially wanted a fill and a pedicure, but since they started me late and it was almost closing time they didn't have time to do my pedicure. I was upset, but I didn't let that get to me. My fill lasted barely 2 weeks and already started lifting before hand. Usually I would get a fill and it would last me almost 4 weeks without lifting (just growing out). I'm new to the area and needed to find a new nail place and I would say I was a little disappointed with my experience there because of poor timing and product outcome (polish was nice, although the fill was very thick and didn't last long). Besides that, the employees were wonderful and you get complimentary drinks during your service, prices were fair. read more

Late review...Went in for the second time after a week to get my broken thumb acrylic fixed, I was taken care of immediately by the ladies at the shop. I had a great experience with Laura, not only did she fix my thumb but she went ahead and cleaned, and filed the rest of my acrylic nails and repainted them with gel polish to make them look fresh again, and did it free of charge. I was very pleased with there service, they do a beautiful job! Will definitely be coming back again!!! read more

My nails always look fabulous right after. It makes me feel beautiful. They are kind and patient with me. And even with all the pandemic they handled it with class. Oh and get the gel. It took me years to convert. Wow gel last so long and looks great all the time. read more

It took me 3 months to find a perfect nail salon in Lemon Grove. My standards- quiet, cozy, clean, professional nail technicians, perfect customer service, new and extensive selection of nail polish on display, eyebrows waxing is done perfectly. Its all in Allure. Keep up the good work. read more

I had the best experience. There was a misprint in the Coupon book that said the first 20 customers on 10/13/2017 get a free pedicure. It should have read free with another service. Well the Owner honored the coupon. The staff was very welcoming and spoke English, the Owner walked around and made sure that all customers were happy with the service they were given and served complimentary drinks.
