Hi everyone this will be a long post. PLEASE STAY AND READ The older lady filed off my nails with the machine leaving holes on my right hand trying to do the job faster instead of being careful with my natural nails despite I told her to be careful keeping my length, when I noticed what she had done I pulled my hand away and ask her what she was doing, I was clearly upset. she then said that is normal grabbing my hand back and CLIPPING OFF the whole nail short. she didnt care!!!!! I pulled off again before she cut the rest of them and she left. the owner tried to step in to "make it right" suggesting to layer cover with acrylic. she did an awful job and left me chunks of acrylic under my nails on my right hand, and uneven with my left length she then proceeded to CHARGE ME for a service I never got (manicure) just for removing cuticle, no massage, no nothing, she spent the whole stay "fixing" the nail issue justifying she did the acrylic without charge when they did me wrong from the beginning. The other lady working on my pedicure was absolutely sweet, she listened to what I was looking for and did a perfect job as always, this place was my favorite place just for her only but unfortunately this time was different for the other women there. it's incredible how horrible the owner was to me. NEVER GOING BACK, and I recommend whoever is reading to watch over the work they do since they can hurt you, they WONT CARE, and it will also cost you for the crappy job. read more

The service its mediocre at best and extremely over price. They pained over my toes, didn't cute the cuticles well but made me bleed. I tried to really really like this place and gave them three chances but every single time it's been bad. The polish is outside of the nail, I could've done a better job myself. Charged me for a massage but barely ever rubbed my feet. $90 for a basic pedicure not okay at all. ***to the business owner that responded. I said I paid for the luxury pedicure and receive mediocre pedicure not worth the price. I didn't say you charge me more than you advertised. Bad customer service. On top of that there's no price menu and overcharged me after I asked for it. Also lady cut my cuticle and made me bleed. When that happened she put cuticle oil on top of it so I wouldn't see it was bleeding. read more

Had one good experience two years ago perfect nails by a young lady I don't think she's there anymore. I went in today I wanted coffin, red cat eye nails, I showed a picture and told him that's what I wanted to get. I only get my nails done once a year or so and wanted to like what I was going to pay for but the owner kept pushing on to me this Ombré design that I was not interested in at all. I had already showed him a picture of exactly what I wanted, and he kept pushing this ombré design, I asked at least three times...are you gonna do the cat eye? he kept saying yes... so I stopped asking because I figured eventually he was gonna do the cat eye design that I showed him and I was still willing to accept the ombré design since I was under the impression he was still gonna add the cat eye design on top of the Ombre. He asked if I liked it... I said yeah it's different but I clearly was not in love with the nails and he was already halfway done. How can I tell him No I don't like it and have him remove all the work he did. Since he was still in the process, I thought maybe he was gonna get to the part that I was expecting, but he didn't. I had to accept what he had done to my nails, and I regret not asking at least the fourth time if he was gonna do the cat eye design. I tried my hardest to like my nails, but I didn't once I held them up to the light you could see all the patches from the tool he used for the ombré effect. I did give him a call and went over everything. He asked for me to come back Monday, and he asked me why didn't I say anything when I did several times in the beginning but I just rather go somewhere else where I'm able to show what I want and get that since I am paying for it. Hello, I would just like to start of my saying my sister already left a horrible review on this place recently. When I went my experience was well the first time not so well my sister. She didn't like the acrylic toes that were left. The owners DAUGHTER did her toes and told my sister a different price then what was the actual price. My sister then went to get her toes fixed and was honestly disrespected my sister is a minor btw. I came back to get my nails fixed because my gem had fallen off the next day. Retention is not there. The owner decides she wants to fix them and proceeds to ask me who I came with last time & did she tell me what happened like I wasn't there. She proceeds to bash my sister & say "she did good work" my sisters toes chipped literally two days after. I wouldn't recommend this place. Here's her "nice work" after that she did my nails super quick and turned our sooo ugly but I just wanted to get out of there. read more

I took my daughter here after school so we can get pedicures. Never been here before, but it was in the middle of where we were about to run errands. Not even 3 hours after getting g my pedicure, the gel completely came off my toes. Mine you, the lady didn't even put the base coat. I called the next day and told them my gel came off. So they said it's fine, come back. I just went in there and I explained to her how the gel is lifting Bc she didn't prep it properly or put base .. she literally only re polished the one that SHE seen chipped and had an attitude while she did it. I didn't pay for a $69 pedicure to have it fucked up the SAME day. Would NOT recommend. I could understand if it were $20.. you get what you pay for. But they taxed me on a bill shit ass service. read more

They were so nice from the moment me and my lil girl walked in, Saturday morning but the wait wasn't long at all. Simple gel manicures for both of us $37 for me ($4 extra for the design I got on each hand) and $15 for my princess. Rose was so nice and patient with her! Update: They reached out claiming I heard them incorrectly, but I've been over charged before as well. They also offered a credit, so I'm increasing by one star. I will not be accepting the credit. Watching how they treat various customers in comparison to others is eye opening and they need to improve their customer service across the board. They don't keep employees for extended periods of time and that to me is a direct reflection of how they run their business. You can expect your nails to look nice when Nicky or Jason do them yes. However the treatment and quality of the products used are not worth it any longer. I've been a customer for more than 15 years and the service has gotten worse and worse. They are often rude or short with customers. The prices are never consistent and today I finally decided I will no longer be giving them my business. I should've been charged $38-40 today for a basic fill with a reshape, but was charged $47. Mind you I would've have tipped him the $7. I've gotten this same exact shape and length as a full set and didn't pay $47. This is the fifth time I've been over charged and so I'm DONE! The bathroom is often dirty and so is the waxing station. They have also started using a cheaper quality acrylic, because previously my nails would never break. Now they break easily and they have the nerve to charge more while using crappy products. I can go on and on about things, but just be aware of the pricing when you go. Especially if Jason is assisting you. read more

Client interaction: This will be the first and the last time I will come in to this nail salon. I came in to get a pedicure after three months of not doing anything to my feet. She made me feel so guilty. She started to talk about me to her coworkers in a different language. The only reason I knew she was talking about me is because they were all staring at me as soon as she said something. I never walked into nail salon and felt so disrespected. I am a business owner myself and I would never treat clients this way. They should have been more professional. All I wanted to do was support a local business. Quality of the work: She was really rough with my toe nails. She hurt me once on my big toe. Cleanliness of location: The place looks pretty clean. I am just a bit concerned about how clean was she during the whole process. She removed the plastic covering from the place where my feet were contained before she was done. If she does this with every client this means she is exposing my feet to fungus and any other bacteria. Lets hope nothing happens to my feet. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! read more

It was my first time today. Pros: my nails came out beautiful, Nicky took her time and they ended up coming out gorgeous. She did hurt me once, but I understand it happens. Cons: I hate how they answer the phone! Not sure who answered when I called, but they spoke so rudely. When I came in I literally just stood there for like a minute because no one greeted me. Overall, it wasn't bad at all. I just think they need to work on their customer service a lot more. I will be coming back to Nicky. She's my new go to nail technician. read more

I had been going here for months. When all of the sudden two weeks ago the owner Vickie tells me I need to do a full set of acrylic nails because the natural oils from my hands caused the nail polish to chip, and she was upset because I cam back to have them fix it. But I was there only 2 days prior and the gel polish shouldn't have chipped. Long story short she was very rude and was insistent that I get fake nails. When I tried to explain to her that I've had allergic reactions and that is why I no longer where acrylic nails, she was like " we aren't going to do your nail." So I left upset and irritated because I had to find a new shop. People just can't tell you what's best for you when you are the paying customer. So I don't recommend this particular shop. read more

A for effort. The overall service was good! I was seated after about 5 minutes. Nicky did my nails, she suggested I get a full set even though I thought I didn't need one. But shes the professional so I told her to do what she thought was best. I provided a picture of how I wanted my nails and this was the outcome. The marble really SUCKSS. I'm also used to gems being added with Krazyglue after the polish is applied, but she put the gems on top of the wet polish and of course they started to slide to the side so she ended up having to do them over. I was at the salon for almost 2 hours - which sucks but I could tell she was taking her time. I will probably not return to Nicky for gem designs like this but maybe for a fill. Also, this was $48 plus $2 for using my debit card. read more

I went to J&V today for the first time as my friend recommended Jason. I got a gel pedicure first by Rose and it was THE BEST pedicure I've ever had. She really took her time to get my feet to look soft and smooth. She did cuticles, cut out some of my ingrown nail and then did callous remover. Unlike most places over been to she really spent extra time on parts of my feet that needed extra attention. Both of my feet are baby smooth!!! SO GRATEFUL. Suchhhh a good job. Once my feet were done, Jason looked at my nails and said they looked bad. LOL he was right. He explained that he was going to try and fix what the other salon had done. He fixed the shape and the thickness of the nail. He paid attention to detail and did exactly what I wanted. I can't speak for the other staff BUT ROSE AND JASON are my new go to. Hands down!! :) I'd also recommend going Monday-Thursday and making an appointment. As fridays and Saturday's they only do walk ins which can possibly get hectic. I tried this place due to the relatively decent reviews. I regret going and I won't be returning. First, the nail technician was rude and I wish I got her name. Also, the gel polish is messy around my nails. The shape is crooked. My thumb looks like it got wiped on something even though I just left. The polish doesn't look smooth and has bubbles. No hand massage, lotion or warm towel, etc used during the gel manicure. There's an extra fee when using a card to pay. It was expensive for the quality. Got a new full set acrylics done by ranny. 2 days later a nail easily broke off. Came back to get it fixed by ranny and she charged me $3 to fix it. I was a loyal client, but I am done coming here. How can you charge knowing it's been only 2 days since you provided the service. I didn't complain about paying the $3. But they now lost a loyal client and my good words for their business. Keeping the client happy with your service should be more important than $3. Not recommending this nail Salon for anyone anymore. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!! MMA is used here which is terrible for your nails. I got my nails done a week and a half ago and they just looked terrible. Air bubbles and very streaky. The coffin shape was terrible and looked more like a stiletto nail and she filed my actual nail and it just looked terrible. Fast forward to today, I went to a different nail spot and the girl told me the work was terrible. Well she starts the soak off process... may i add when I got my nails done at j&v, the lady who did my nails took off the previous set I had WITH ANOTHER NAIL and it hurt so bad and I asked if she could soak it off but she didn't understand and then she filed my natural nail down even more and it felt sooooo hot. Anyway going back to today, the girl takes the foils off and she said OMG WHERE DID YOU GO??!!!! They used MMA on you and it's terrible for your nails! She couldn't do another set from how bad my nails were and I have dents in my nails. I'm so upset and my nails look terrible. Please save your nails and do not go here... oh and they out used tools in their "clean" box and reuse them on other people's feet without saniting them. read more

Update: I'm not coming back, I found an air bubble shortly after posting this review. They're closed Sunday so I can't make an appointment and they're booked so no one can fix it until Wednesday. I can't just leave work to accommodate your time table and screw ups. June 23, 2019 I got a full set of stillettos from Nicki who worked on my friend also. We agreed we're not having her do our nails again. She's more interested in her phone and she didn't clean off the paint that got on me before putting it under the curing light. There's a piece of my nail that is sticking out because she didn't cut it. For someone doing nails 3 years I'd expect it to be straight and an even nail cut, not some jagged job I could do myself at home. My left hand is crooked, one finger more so than the rest. The longer I look the more I find wrong. She didn't clean up the underside either so my nails keep snagging on things. I paid $36. If I go back I'm getting someone else for my nails, she knew it was my first time there and she couldn't bother to leave a good impression. read more
