Even though I…read moretold them which pieces were precious family heirlooms, they didn't protect the furniture, they broke off handles, and refused to stand behind their work. This after tipping each member of the crew $100 and paying an extra $100 above their asking price--I should have inspected the furniture carefully before paying but I was ill and didn't check until the next day, when the owner refused to make repairs or refund a dime. Avoid them at all costs. They are nice to your face when they want your business, then rude and ugly afterward.

Steve and his crew are extremely careful in how they handle your furniture and other goods; they treat it just as if they are moving their own valuables. They are extremely prompt and responsive, and they are also very courteous and professional on the job. And the rates are very reasonable. I have had negative experiences with many movers in the past, and my share of damage from those other movers, and SEA's is worlds apart from all of them. I wouldn't use anyone else.
