Food is good, kinda strange that each location has a different menu/food offering. And if that's the case the menus should reflect that

Smoked & Smashed - Pulled Pork Sandwich

We also had the Reuben and a Brisket poutine. The poutine and rib sandwich were our favourites. Was a little on the pricey side but quality was good. Lots of seating and cool vibes (love the Anthony Bourdain poster) with 90s hip hop music playing. We ordered on the self service machine and they called us to the counter to pick up the food when ready.

I really love the atmosphere they've created which has thoughtful seating, great decor, and a niche, cozy feel. For my first visit, I went with their Smash Burger ($9.95) and upgraded to a double for about $4 more. The pricing is pretty reasonable compared to other smash/gourmet burger places. The burger features dry-aged, house-ground Canadian beef chuck, smashed thin and crispy, topped with cheddar, S&S smash sauce, S&S pickles, caramelized onions, and shredded lettuce on a freshly baked potato roll. The bun isn't the most "pillowy" soft I've had, with a slightly brioche-like top, but still delicious and elevated. The seasoning on the edges was a bit salty for me, but once everything came together with the bun and condiments, it worked well. Simple, classic, and satisfying. Service was friendly, and there's ample parking. They offer online ordering, but I recommend going in person for the full experience and to pick up their stamp card (buy 10 burgers, get one free, and yes, you can redeem it for a double). Next on my list to try: their Montreal smoked meat. A hidden gem and great find.

Only good quality meat tastes this good. The coleslaw was good . The secrete ingredient in the dressing was mango. Don't worry if you don't like mango. You don't taste it, it's just part of the background flavour and creates a flavour profile that is amazing. Same with the potato salad, tiny bits of mango in it, it just blends with all the other ingredients to create something really special. Service was excellent, I think it was the owner, but judging by the place, all the employees would be as knowledgeable and helpful, I diols mention, the wings. Very good, the honey garlic sauce dripped of onto the plater, I loved dipping the fries in it. We tried the hot honey on the side. Normally I don't like the spicy, but even with the kick it had, it was very good. The price point was very good. Even with the recent increases in price, it more affordable and higher quality than our regular spots closer to home. We had the feast for 2 for $75. It could have fed 1 or 2 more. We loved it. Cleanliness was excellent and exceptional. Looking in the kitchen, I've never seen a cleaner place. The only negative which is a positive for us. The sausages were not ready. My husband was disappointed, but it's good to know the food is that fresh and probably why the rest was so good and so fresh and flavourful. This is a place we will be coming back to and would recommend

Lamb sausage (daily meat) was good: very meaty & slightly spicy, with a nice spice mix. Cornbread was pretty good: moist enough & quite rich. Mac & cheese was good: nice breading, a bit firm & with a very rich & cheesy sauce. The washroom is surprisingly stylish.

St. Louis Bar & Grill - This was a very good burger platter, on special that evening, that was apparently cooked medium well as requested.

The servers were friendly and I understand they have to entertain it to earn their living but I should not have to be harassed in the process. Our server forgot items and did not punch them in the POS so we never got it. Luckily it was not on the bill. The special for the AYCE boneless wings is not worth it. They are heavily bread and fatty with uneven coats of batter. Not much meat on them. I still always enjoy the beer prices. I came to this location since it was there but I'll keep going to my main location outside Canada wonderland moving forward. Much cleaner location there.. and the workers have never forgotten my order.

I saw what they have to offer front and center and it's neither the product nor the ambiance I seek: ribs, wings, a loud sports bar with big TVs everywhere, and alcohol, thus perfect for backslappers. I figured they would have something I might like to eat. Before walking over to St. Louis Bar and Grill, I had spotted fish and chips on-line. I went in, the look was true to form to what I was expecting, and was greeted and seated right away. The big TVs do dominate the locale and deal with the local religion - hockey. The resto-bar was clean. A menu was brought over quickly. The server immediately made me aware of the nightly specials. It changed what I would order. I appreciated that. I settled on a burger platter, to which I added cheese. With it, I had a root beer. (The special that night was the burger platter and one could have it with their lower cost domestic beers, or something without alcohol.) Rounding out the platter was a nice serving of fries ... the kind with the ridges ... and they were good. The platter took a while to come to the table. However, given how good it was, this didn't matter. They got it right. The final tab was to my liking. I added a tip to reflect how welcoming and good natured the service was. Note that, even though later hours are kept, the kitchen closes a little earlier. Not knowing the landscape, it then became apparent that St. Louis Bar and Grill is a chain, albeit a sports bar that would, in my opinion, channel wings and ribs from places in the U.S. Lastly, it's less than 2 large blocks from the terminus station of TTC Line 1 up at Vaughan Metropolitan Centre.
