Chicken place: well there's truth in a store name. Yelp wants to know if I recommend this place: uh...yeah! It's basically a fusion of near-east (Lebanese perhaps) and Canadian food. They have rotisserie chicken and chicken skewers that can be served with a choice of two sides. I think there were at least a dozen choices for sides. Whether it's the sides or the main course (the chicken) the staff told me they are very passionate about fresh food. They're even passionate about fresh oil for the fries, which are also fresh-cut. The fries were indeed terrific and I enjoyed dipping them in the tzaziki sauce I asked for. Since I was new, the exceptionally friendly staff allowed to to try a couple samples of other sides, such as the tomato and avocado salad and the roasted cauliflower. And my second proper side was a fresh salad with a house-made vinaigrette. I also ordered the lentil soup which I loved. And I went with the skewers for my chicken. My wife was also there and she went with the rotisserie chicken which she said was exceptional. The prices are really good too. They're also known for their sandwiches which are pressed, so maybe I'll give that a shot when I'm next in the area. I'm a bit sad I'm not often in this area, but it may be for the best - as I'd probably find myself here too much. read more

I have been a huge fan of this restaurant, knowing he was at the Willowdale and Sheppard location many years ago. I had the all time favourite Chicken Place Sandwich - crispy bread filled with chicken, mayo and pickles. The size of the sandwich is pretty big ( like a 12 in sub), it's pretty filling when you eat with their fresh cut fries. We also had the Fresh Greek Salad and BBQ quarter Chicken with Rice. Everything is made with fresh ingredients. The owner Mike is very nice and friendly. He will make sure you are happy with the food. read more

Souvlaki in a bun was delicious. Herb blend and a little char for super tasty chicken that reminds of food cooked over a campfire. Generous portion for $12.85 that overflowed the bun. Made a meal of it with a fork and knife. Friendly and efficient. Would def come back. read more

Hands down the best customer service!! I'm blown away by Michaels generosity and kindness! My friend once got takeout from this place and I've been wanting to check it out because I remembered it tasting really good. I walked in and told the man behind the counter that I wasn't sure what my friend had gotten last time and he was able to help me. We put in an order for a rotisserie chicken sandwich with garlic mayo and pickles... it was so bomb!!! This place is a bit hidden and in a small area few blocks in from finch and chesswood. The chicken used to be amazing, sliced and tender,but now it's small pieces that are usually over cooked. Beware of the additional charges! The hot sauce is now .75 for a tiny container! The value for $ just isn't there anymore. read more

Had the chicken sandwich that they said was there speciality. It was a good overall, they go heavy on the mayo but I didn't mind. I wasn't a huge fan of the bun (it's flat and toasted like a panini) but it was still good. It certainly has a hidden gem vibe which I enjoyed. Been here a couple times for lunch. Food is worth the wait and the price. Place has middle eastern style of food, but the chicken is churassco style. The hot sauce aka piri piri sauce is an great added bonus. Wait times may be a little longer than usual, but it's ok, the food isn't coming out of a deep freezer. read more

If you want fresh food that's always fresh and fresh cut fries this is the place! I'm surprised you gotta eat here has not done a tv special for this place! They are still open during covid, if u want one of the best chicken sandwiches you will ever eat come here! At first the idea of pickles and garlic mayo seemed a little obscure to me but it is an amazing combination! They also offer vegan options! It's similar in pricing to most fast food places just a million times better tasting and fresher! You get real bang for your buck here! I know once you try it you will be back for more! Come support them through the tough times if you can it would be a real shame to lose this place! And as mentioned by others amazing customer service if you don't like what you ordered he will replace it with something! This place is amazing! What a gem of a place. I tried their chicken plate which was prepared churrasco (BBQ) style. The chicken was grilled to perfection and it was moist, tasty and the serving size was very good. What great value for the price. The accompanying sides and sauce are excellent. I also tried their chicken souvlaki and chicken sandwich as well. All very good and I had difficulty deciding which was the best. As good as their chicken is the fries perhaps are better. I asked why it was so tasty and they said it was the oil they used. This place is worth trying. You need this chicken and fries with sauce in your life at an excellent price. This place is open for lunch and early dinner. When I was there, they were doing a massive amount of take-out orders as well. Also, they have a standing refrigerator with a great selection of soft drinks. They had flavors I had not seen in a while. For example, they had "Mexican Coke" which was different and well worthwhile trying out. If you're looking for a quick place for lunch, or early dinner, eat in or take out, stop by and give it a try.
