He sent along a packet of information that really helped me to prep for the interview process. Turned out after making the drive from Everett into Ballard I wasn't as thrilled with the position and I just couldn't see myself doing that every day. Not their fault, I had told Justin that I was willing to work in that area, and I would be for the perfect position but this just wasn't it. I let Justin know that I was not interested in that position but he didn't stop working for me. I took it as a learning experience and I kept looking. A week later he had another interview for me in a position that seems like a perfect fit. I am going back for a second interview tomorrow and regardless if I get the position or not I cannot thank Justin enough for making it happen and for guiding me through the process.

At which point the employer cut their contract with smart talent because they were charging a ridiculous amount for me. I think about 3 times my pay. The next 3 jobs they offered me had nothing to do with welding and the last one I took they sold it to me as welding but it was actually painting and it paid $2 less than they originally had said. When I quit my job they informed me that they were going to pay me minimum wage for my last paycheck instead of our agreed upon amount.

I've been to other agencies and have felt like they did not have time for me and sometimes I don't ever hear back from them even. This place is great and Becky is just the best.

When he asked about my visa status (I'm on OPT as an international student), his demeanor completely changed. He basically told me it wasn't going to work out without offering any advice or alternatives. He didn't even ask about my goals or what I wanted to achieve--he just focused on my visa status and made me feel like I didn't belong. If it's true that Apple doesn't accept OPT, then fine, but the way this was handled was frustrating and unprofessional.

Was interviewed last July/August by several layers of folks there and also by their client who I would work with. Was told I was #1 and job would start soon... i spent a considerable amount of my $ to get back from vacation to start in September as they mentioned (we had gone back andf forth about this expected start date and I would need to go in person to verify my citizenship first). But then things fell apart and the job did not start. I would get a call from India once in a while to check on my status and that the job would start soon. blah blah blah.... This played out for months. The last i heard it would start in Jan/Feb. Now they do not responed to email (either the recruiter or her manager). I find this just very unprofessional and inconsiderate. I am new to contract work but it seems many of these firms are similar... misinformation and I am sure just trying to find the lowest cost employee.

The no fault attendance policy is incredibly shady (and really illegal if you have any form of disability) and they use it as the quickest way to boot you out the door once you've served your purpose during peak. And keep in mind, if you do find yourself missing work after getting sick or hurt, you'll soon also find yourself fired. And if they fire you for violating the attendance policy they won't let you work in any department at Nintendo for two whole years. "That guy who worked here a week and leaked pictures of the Switch before it was public, we obviously just need to find him a different position. He's so punctual." "That girl who's been getting great reviews and just trained up to a supervisor position, well she got sick on two separate occasions last week and she's been late two times in the past three months so we need to fire her and make sure she can't do any work here for two years!" These are real stories of coworkers I know. This place is all kinds of shady. I mean I love Nintendo and all, but they need someone who's a bit more on the ball in charge at Parker onsite. If you have this much trouble determining good employees who get sick from bad employees who come to work sick, maybe you should be the ones who get fired.
