Had an emergency phone screen replacement for my girlfriend's Samsung S25+ after it dropped on concrete and cracked. Cost $330 for the repair. After replacement my girlfriend and I started noticing condensation both front and back camera lenses that eventually led to the phone randomly turning off. Tried troubleshooting but unable to turn phone on. Took it to another third party phone repair shop for diagnosis and was told whoever did the replacement left the inside messy and the screen connection was loose. The repair guy was able to bring the phone back to life during diagnosis but the screen was flickering. He recommended to take it back to where it was originally repaired. Drove back to Redmond and explained the situation. Employee said it will be about 2 hours to take a look and will call/text when ready. Okay cool. So we waited 2 hours and when we came back and he asked did you receive a text. I said it was already the 2 hour mark... The one hour device repair guy then explained the screen connection is corroded and proceeded to show a picture on his phone of the corrosion. He suggested we must've dropped it in water. So now I'm thinking, how can a connection be corroded internally if this phone is water resistant and the phone had these problems AFTER the repair? Even so, we NEVER exposed it directly to any source of liquid since the time of initial repair. Even if we did, shouldn't it NOT have this issue anyway? Also we NEVER received any document or signed anything acknowledging of any potential risks after repair. I asked the repair guy what are our options. He said he can order the screen replacement and have it done on Wednesday. I asked him if this was going to be charged. He said yes. I said no. He said call the number for "headquarters". I called and no one picked up. We left and on the drive home the number from "headquarters" calls us. I explained the situation again to "headquarters" guy and asked for what are our options. He said we'd have to pay $309. I said no. He said let me place you on hold and call the repair guy in Redmond. We waited on hold for a bit. He comes back and says the corrosion is from water damage. I'm thinking what is this guy trying to imply? We continued to have a back and forth until he relents and says I can do it for $209. I said no thanks. That is literally the cost of a replacement phone adding both repair costs. Honestly I was livid after this conversation. Not only was there zero accountability from their end, but they tried to shift blame on the customer for using their phone normally. TLDR: Please make sure you are aware the risks of getting anything repaired from this business. It might make more sense buying a replacement instead. read more

BEWARE: This place DAMAGED my phone would give negative stars if I could! This is costing me hundreds to resolve. January 10th my phone screen broke and got my screen replaced for about 330. Fine at first BUT a week in I started to experience problems: 1. Camera condensation on both lenses-- my phone was not near any water at work and there was fogging in my camera from the inside. Over time internal corrosion as a result and my phone wouldn't turn on. I NEVER had this issue PRIOR to this repair so WHY are you blaming the customer? 2. Flickering screen-- LCD problem. TELL ME why am I having this already after a recent screen replacement? Paid $50 and took it to a repair shop in Auburn after my phone won't turn on and they said whoever fixed your phone did a CHEAP job and they should do customer service recovery because 1. It wasn't sealed properly and a cheap adhesive was used. and 2. Cheap quality LCD used during replacement. While they offered 250 to repair they thought it'd be more cost efficient for me to pursue service recovery with the original shop. Their customer service was LAUGHABLE: only fix the screen for 209! I rather pay more and get it done at a place that was more honest and less shady! Better yet maybe just get a used phone because the cost is almost as much as my repair.The auburn location even offered a better price if I did choose to pursue them too. 0/10 DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. I had a simple repair for a Nintendo device. I even provided my own factory replacement parts. It took months to get MY device back to me, well after paying and now my Nintendo is worse than it was when I dropped it off. They destroyed the thing I paid them to fix! They actually tried to just give me someone else's device at one point, without my sentimental data. I was initially quoted for a one week repair. It turned into months, and involved multiple trips to the shops in both Bothell AND Redmond to insure my property was not stolen. So here I am now, with a super busted Nintendo, with all of the lost time and money dealing with these idiots. More like "Three Month Disrepair". Someone's gonna sue the shoes off of these clowns. Avoid this store and franchise. I went to the Bothell location for a back glass iPhone repair, and after the fix, my phone wouldn't stay on for more than three minutes. I returned the next day, same tech, no clue what was wrong. They told me to leave it for three business days or take it to their Redmond store. At Redmond, the tech acknowledged that the Bothell tech messed it up. I was told it would take an hour ended up waiting 5 hours total with very little communication. I asked for them to make it right, was passed around, argued with, and finally told by the manager they wouldn't do anything. Terrible service and zero accountability. read more

I walked in here because I was referred to this place by Xfinity. My Mom's phone got malware on it unfortunately and insurance doesn't cover anything. Xfinity also was not very helpful, they just said to check this place out. Xfinity said One Hour Device Repair can remove malware from phones, so we went. Immediately when we walked in, there was a man sitting in a chair far in the back of the store, almost hiding. He gave us a death glare when we walked in. Zero customer service. He walked up behind the counter to talk with us and we simply asked if this store provided malware removal service. He only mumbled. We had to ask him to repeat himself over and over again and he kept giving us the same mumbled responses. He also was playing with two popsicle sticks while we were trying to talk to him. It was obvious he didn't care. We got nowhere. We asked the same question multiple times and he couldn't even answer that. He told us "$120 for 2 hours" and didn't explain anything of what that meant. We left very disappointed. Still zero information. read more

In August, I took my Pixel phone to this shop to replace the battery because it couldn't hold a charge and was stuck on the boot screen. They replaced the battery - scratching the edges of the screen and case in the process, but it would at least boot up. The repair cost $100. A few months later in December, the phone would shut down before reaching the home screen and the edge of the screen started separating from the case, so I decided to bring it back for further inspection to see if they could fix it. I dropped off the phone on Monday, 12/2, at 1 PM, and they told me it would take a few hours, promising to call me with an update. I never heard back. On Tuesday, 12/3, I called around 4:30 PM and was told it would take a few hours, and they would call me back later that day. Once again, no one followed up. The next day, Wednesday, 12/4, I called around 12:30 PM, and they gave me the same response--that the tech would look at it and I'd hear back in a few hours. No call ever came. On Friday, 12/6, at 4 PM, I called again. I explained that they had been giving me the same vague answers all week and still hadn't given me any update or estimate of when I could expect my phone to be ready. I asked about the issue, and they assured me they would call back later that night or the next morning. Yet again, they never called. On Saturday, I went to the shop in person to check on the phone. The person there said the tech who was supposedly working on my device wouldn't be in until the next day and that my phone was still under diagnostics. I asked to see the phone, and to no ones surprise, it hadn't been touched since I dropped it off. The label they had put on the screen was still on there (you'd at least take this off if you tried turning on the phone to diagnose the issue), and the device hadn't been taken apart since the screen and case were still in the same state as when I left it with them. I ended up just taking my device back after leaving it them for 5 days with no updates. The lack of communication and transparency was incredibly disappointing. They repeatedly failed to follow through on their promises, and my phone sat untouched for nearly a week. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this shop to anyone. I could understand if they were busy and hadn't gotten to it yet, but it's unacceptable being jerked around for a week. Their name, One Hour Device Repair, is quite deceptive considering they did nothing for 120 hours. read more

DO NOT go here. Terrible terrible service. Sketchy place that reeked of smoke- I should have known from the beginning. They "fixed" my iPhone 15 screen for $250 and it worked (somewhat- did not dim like it should have) for an only 30 hours until the screen completely would not come on. It came back on 2 days later, lasted a day and a half and went black again. Now it is has been glitching ever since and they will not fix it. After I left it with them for 3 hours. And they are telling me to talk to the call center while I am in person. read more

Paid over $250 to have cracked ipad screen replaced. After it was replaced, the ipad never worked properly, Home button didnt work , screen rotation was intermittent as was touch response. They said they would not work on it any more, and will not give us a refund. Ouch! At least it worked when it had a cracked screen... No more. read more

My fiancee was visiting from Las Vegas and got a virus on her phone. Both T-Mobile and Samsung staff blew her off and said they couldn't do anything. T-Mobile even recommended a hard reset, which wipes out everything on your phone. Sean at this shop had her fixed and out the door in under a minute. Came here to get my back glass for my IPhone 13 Pro Max replaced, they charged $180 for the replacement and i also had to wait for the part to be shipped which was expected. They took 2 hours to replace the glass which was really great until after leaving i found out i can no longer put my phone on speaker for calls because they had broken the microphone as well as my siri doesn't even work. Super disappointed because that's another issue that needs to be fixed due to their mistake. would not recommend anyone coming here due to the fact they didn't even own up or try to fix the issue. read more

I recently destroyed my last iPhone and was completely unable to back up my device to the cloud or my PC because the screen was destroyed. I went in to see the cost of new screen or if they could implement another technique to back up my device. The solution they offered me was quick but also free. I was offered a partly broken screen on loan, which I used to go home and back up my device. I returned the screen the next day. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable. Will definitely be coming back for my next phone issue/ repair! Update: I came back far too soon after a phone screen drop. My screen wasn't shattered but seemed to have become "disconnected" I went to One hour device repair as soon as they opened (Thank God they are open on Sundays ) and the gentleman there (I believe his name was Chris) diagnosed and quoted me within 2 minutes and sent me on my way. Within an hour my repair was done as the name so hopefully promises. Most importantly the cost of the screen repair was cheaper than my Asurion insurance rebate and needless to say, much faster and more convenient. Thank you again guys. read more

Beware of this place - they won't fix your phone, they will make it worse and then blame it all on you, all for $330. They are criminals. I went to One Hour Device Repair a few months ago to get my cracked iPhone screen replaced. They did it for $330 and gave a "lifetime warranty" on the screen. From the moment I walked out of the store there was something a little bit wrong with the screen - the bottom half of it wasn't as responsive as it used to be. But, it wasn't terrible so I ignored it and put off going in to get it repaired. Clearly, the screen wasn't properly installed the first time. Fast forward to this week when suddenly, my screen went completely blank and wouldn't show anything on it. When I took it into One Hour Device Repair, the person behind the counter was already irate and rude to me, and told me I had gotten the phone water damaged so my warranty was void. First, the phone hasn't been near water since the screen replacement. Second, the iPhone has water sensors that turn it off if it detects water, and the screen was still turning on, it just wasn't displaying anything. Third, the screen was already finicky and improperly installed, so if there was moisture getting into the phone, it was the original installers fault, not mine. So, he angrily grabs my phone, replaces the screen, and says "I've replaced it as a courtesy, but I'm voiding your warranty because it was water damage." Which is not true. The screen he replaced with has burning on it (dark lines across it) and is half sticking out - it's an embarrassingly improper installation. So now I'm out $330 for the original repair, no warranty to get it fixed despite not having violated the warranty terms, and my phone screen is still broken. These guys are weasels and criminals. UPDATE: Nihad, the manager at the Issaquah store, got in touch with me and replaced the faulty screen for free and refunded 50% of the original repair cost. I recommend visiting a branch other than Redmond and they will treat you well! read more

I walk in the first day and the service was fine. Cordial and professional Sort of expected. However, the amount of time that it took to even get any type of response from them about any updates to my phone was shocking. I would go back maybe once every week and check in, and they would keep on saying that the guy who is supposed to work on my phone was somehow gone, gone vacation, or taking the week off, or was taking the day off. It would go on like this for over 3 weeks, until they told me to just start calling them instead of showing up. I am not even sure how long the entire ordeal would last but I think it took a full month. Half way through the ordeal, they would claim that the tech guy would eventually give me a call and get back to me about the difficulties they might be facing because my phone is damaged in a unique way. Never got a call from them, not once. The job I asked from them was to do a possible data recovery on my phone which suffered water damaged. They said that it was probably not good, but they would give it a shot. I would have gladly accepted it if the first few times I came back to the shop if they had just said that they really gave it a shot, and could not do a data recovery, and gave me some type of report showing what exactly they had tried. However, somehow the tech guy was just gone. They said that there was one last thing that they could try, and that they wanted to order some part from china to give it one more shot, so I waited some more. At the end, I just gave up and wanted my phone back, even if there is nothing that can be done. Of course, when i got there, the first guy I interacted with didn't even know where my phone was at, and when the main tech guy came by and did find it, they had my phone in pieces and strongly suggested instead that I should just recycle the parts. And that it would take hours to put the phone back. The frustration with this place only increased over time. What I suspect is really going on in this place is that there is one main tech guy who actually knows the stuff, and can actually do some of the more difficult issues. and the other workers there are the regular type who can only do the simplest of jobs, the cookie-cutter stuff. I do not recommend going to this place if your phone or device problem is even remotely out of the ordinary if the main guy is not there, because the other employees there probably can't handle it, but will just wait (and wait and wait) for that guy to come back. or if your phone is something other than the usual iphone or samsung phone. They seem to not have the schematic for some of the other lesser known phones brands. read more
