Then upon vacating, they told us "it's in the lease" that they keep the rest of the month rental. Have rented at Budget twice before and NEVER had this problem. Just happened to go here because it was closer to us but never again! Go to Budget - they rock and only charge by the day (refund remaining days of month upon moving) and require no notice in advance. Much more professional and no "hidden scams" in the lease. I showed up one day and they were stripping copper in the parking lot of the storage units. These people show up in the morning and spread their stuff over the parking lot and then stay until the gates are locked. I know this as after my locker was broken into I made multiple trips per day until I was able to clear it out. The person managing the place knows very well what these people are doing and does nothing about it. Further to this the site has absolutely 0 surveillance. I wish I had never rented one of their units.

Overall, there lack of competence was trumped by there lack of professionalism, which i found to be bordering on harassment.

Try DOUBLE the rate for the move out...estimated at 6 hours and took 11.25. Try a move in crew that apparently could not read and left clearly marked FRAGILE boxes under tool boxes in the garage. Or boxes marked KITCHEN in the garage. Or bookshelves left at odd angles and not up against the walls. Add to that being verbally threatened by the guy in charge and you may understand why in my opinion you should stay clear of this company.
