I would highly recommend this service to anyone looking to eliminate the stress of clutter in their home. After writing this review, Got Junk had attempted to contact me to rectify the situation within 24 hours. ******************************************************************************************** Phoned 1800-Got-Junk to have a bunch of misc. things removed from our basement. They are polite and courteous, etc. The customer service up to the end of the removal was great. However, a few days later I discovered they had taken something they were not supposed to, a handmade wooden bathroom cabinet built by my wife's father. It was near the items to be removed, but I had indicated only to take items up to a certain point in the basement and leave the rest, The cabinet was for our renovation and we had been saving it for some years to finally use it. Needless to say my wife was pretty upset about it. I phoned the company back and they told me it was likely disposed of. They told me they would call back. I have not received such a call. I would call the $160 price tag worthwhile had it not involved the loss of something of such importance to us. I spoke with a very helpful customer service rep named Ali, but after booking with this company it went downhill from there. We were promised a two hour window that was to be from 10:30-12:30. We were also sent an email stating that we would be called between 10:15 and 10:30 to let us know when they would be arriving. This simply did not happen so I finally called at 12:15 to find out why no one had contacted us. The person I spoke with did not really have any answers for us so I asked him to please have a manager or someone who did know why we hadn't been contacted us to call us. I did receive a call from a manger named Kathy approximately 5 minutes later to tell us that not only would they not be arriving at the promised time but we would be lucky if they arrived at 2:30 at the earliest. She gave no explanation why we weren't called and offered a very insincere "I'm sorry". I told her that this service was unacceptable but she did not show any concern in the least. I also told her that I would be writing a review and once again she simply did not care. We were on a time restriction with the sale of our house and had hired Just junk for this very reason. Due to the fact that they made no attempt to assist us I would not recommend this company to anyone and will certainly not give them any future business.

The toilets, 8 light fixtures, baseboards,  mirrors, vanities, space under the 3 sinks,  baseboards, shower stalls, and doors were left undone in 2 bathrooms. Wall smudges, light switches, and baseboards were not cleaned. All the mirrors on the mirrored bifold doors on 3 closets of 2 bedrooms and the front entrance hallway were left uncleaned. Baseboards and light switches were not wiped in the hallway closet, smaller bedroom closet, and walk-in closet in primary bedroom. The cabinet under the double kitchen sinks was not cleaned. The lower cabinet where there's a lazy Susan was not wiped out. The inside of the dishwasher was left dirty, so it was also not cleaned. The baseboards around the kitcken island were not wiped. The laminate floors in the kitchen and dining toom were left smudged and not done. I cleaned the laminate floors recently, days after the cleaners were here on Thursday, March 28th. None of the blinds were cleaned. The large venetian blind in the smaller bedroom, as well as the 3 large venerian blinds and two smaller venetian blinds in the living room, were left dusty.  The 4 large venetian blinds and 2 smaller venetian blinds in the kitchen nook and dining area and small blind by the entrance door were not cleaned. A lot of the kitchen cabinets had previously been cleaned by me. The oven was wiped out. The oven had self-cleaned days earlier. The refrigerator was completely cleaned.  The front entrance hallway was mopped. That's all. The cleaners arrived late at 1:05 pm. After they left, toilet paper was missing from one of the bathrooms. When they were about to leave, we were returning to meet them at the townhouse. They knew that we were on our way. We caught them pulling away in their car at 5:05 pm, but stopped them to chat. They would have left an empty townhouse unlocked.

Firstly you think you are hiring a company that has their own excavator well they do but they don't. Ken Clark has another business and that business has all the equipment that he rents to do the job and then bills you for the rental of the equipment which by the way is close to $ 1000. and then you are billed for the excavation which is another $1000. By the way this hole that was dug out is 13 x 14 and 25 inches deep. They broke the sewer line and guess how much they charged us to fix it? Let's just say it cost us $58 for piece of 3" pvc. They took away the asphalt but not any soil. Then you have to plead with him to come get his equipment from your place after 4 days of it just sitting there getting in the way. My son paid $600 to have an excavator come and did a much bigger hole...wish I had got the first guy that said he would do the job.
