To my surprise I found an outdoor kitten and I brought it in for a chip check an no chip was found so was told that I could adopt her and I wasn't looking to home another kitten. What really makes them shine is a homeless kitten with all the medical care and fixing vs the in house kitten gets the same care at like $15 so even if you don't adopt one of there animals they make it super cost effective to bring a stray in and make it very encouraging to adopt thet stray animal with the price incentives when my vet was quoting $600. Overall they do an excellent job at getting animals homes even if you adopt there's with finding a stray, now two kittens are warm and safe.

My 6 year old almost died from having a dental procedure done there and ended up getting horrible aspiration pneumonia and when I picked him up, he didn't recognize me and had green stuff coming out of his nose. When I dropped him off in the morning, he was totally fine and when I picked him up, he was extremely sick. The doctor had the nerve to ask me if my dog was like this before he came in for surgery, and I couldn't believe that after everything that I do for my dogs ( which they were well aware of how I take care of my boys), that the doctor thought I would put my dog thru surgery if he was sick! Within 24 hours of his surgery, he was almost dead and septic and spent 2 weeks fighting for his life at WVRC. We ended up spending over $40,000 to save my dogs life because they screwed up somewhere when he was in their care. And to make things even better, my parents dog was misdiagnosed by them and was dead 2 days later because they didn't know what was wrong with her. I will NEVER step foot in this clinic again or will I ever refer them to anyone. I'm so glad I found a wonderful new vet clinic to take care of my boys who doesn't care about the money!

A good portion of these birds come from breeders who sell to anyone and they end up surrendered here for their safety and care because people don't do the proper things to protect these birds from further distress. Many other surrenders are the result of aging owners who cannot care for them anymore , people who dump them for various reasons and those owners who have passed away. Potential adoptees who are refused are refused because of non compliance with adoption standards or have history of not demonstrating proper veterinary care. Without the dedicated work of this Center and the dedicated operators, and its volunteers, many birds would be in danger or abused. Keep up the great work !!

We found a vet surgeon in Chicago to perform the surgery but needed to get Scout established with a vet for primary care. None of the vets we saw in Chicago could match the expertise and care she received from Dr. McDonald. Although the clinic is in Waukesha, WI, we gladly make the 1.5 hour drive from Chicago because Dr. McDonald is simply the best. Her depth of experience as a feline-only vet is unparalleled. Dr. McDonald has taken care of several generations of cats in our family, including those of my mother and late sister. She is the only vet we trust, and her dedication to their well-being gives us immense peace of mind. If you're looking for a vet who truly understands and cares for cats, I can't recommend Dr. McDonald and Cream City Kitty Clinic enough. I am not one to do things like this and I'm also not here…read moreto talk badly or be hateful, but simply explain that I did not have a great experience here the last two days. I brought my cat in for concerns relating to vomiting and I mean I came home and he had thrown up in 6 different places around my house, and they didn't do an X-ray for him when I took him in because "he was fussy" or bc there was another cat there and he wasn't cooperative. I get it but to then also proceed to not give him fluids? After I told them how much he was puking? Didn't sit right with me. Well I get sent home with a couple of meds, keep an eye on him we will know more with blood results. Sure, again, fair. Well he gets worse. He's lethargic, clearly uncomfortable, not eating, not drinking any water. I know in my gut something isn't right. I take him in again the next day and it is so disorganized, very unprofessional. I just felt very confused and like I was being asked about things that I literally would have no way of knowing bc I don't know how to read an X-ray... don't know any of the medical stuff for animals bc I'm not a veterinarian..... They did an X-ray noticed something wasn't right and helped with getting my cat sent to someone for an ultrasound. So I will say thank you for that Well guess what? My poor buddy has an obstruction in his small intestine. I just didn't appreciate how they handled things. I felt invalidated and made to feel like my concerns were not valid or my level of anxiety was unwarranted. I have taken both my cats here before for a regular visit for exam and getting vaccines and I will say they are great for that. I just genuinely did not have a good experience with this clearly emergency situation and it felt like they were dragging their feet and left me with more questions instead of any reassurance or support during a very scary time. The fact that I took the time to do this is a lot for me and I wanted to share this experience for other cat parents out there to be aware. Again, this was MY experience and I was unhappy. This place may very well be great for others. I just really felt this needed to be put out there.

Someone found him and thought he would be a good fit for us, and they were absolutely right. Stu needed a full checkup and to be neutered. This was our first male cat, so some of this was new to us. The staff did a great job walking us through the process and explaining our options. We felt informed and comfortable every step of the way. Chloe loved exploring and particularly liked the window. The vet and staff gave her a churu while examining her. She happily accepted the distraction. They ushered her away for her vaccines, microchipping and nail clipping. The vet was very pleased with her appearance. I loved that they take first visit pictures.
