It is clean, well-maintained, well-furnished and overall a nice ambience. Where it really shines though is in the breakfast department: in addition to the usual fare (waffles) it has an omelette station, as well as scrambled eggs, link sausage, potatoes and biscuits and gravy. The only thing I would ding them on is the seemingly new bed pillows. They are overstuffed and several of us found them uncomfortable. Prices can get a little high if the nearby university has an activity, but when faced with that, I am willing to pay.

We realized we were on the second floor and there was NO elevator. It was quite a struggle to get our luggage up the stairs. When we arrived at our room, we were very underwhelmed. The wall AC unit was crazy loud and ran pretty much ALL the time. We couldn't figure out how to turn it off, but it was too hot to turn off anyways (100 degrees on our last day). The attention to detail in the room was low. There were wires hanging down behind the TV, the doors were removed from the closet (not sure why) and only one drawer had a handle/pull. The other drawers just had holes. The bathroom vanity was touch up painted in a different color. There's a table with four chairs with room for two people (the microwave is sitting on the table). These things just made the room feel kind of low quality - like it was a rush job renovation. The bathroom backs to an alley and has a floodlight shining in the window all night - with no window cover, so you have to keep the door closed all night if you don't want the bright light shining in. The bathroom door is super noisy, so it woke everyone up if one person would get up to use the bathroom at night. The shower drain was not draining well and we stood in a bit of standing water with each shower. To e bathroom is smaller than a cruise ship. Super tight! There was a lot of dust in the bathroom and the shower cleanliness was questionable. There were no towels or paper towels in the kitchen, which I thought was weird. There is no housekeeping and they don't even give you fresh towels each day. We had to go down to the office twice to ask and there was no one at the desk. We waited around for quite awhile and ended up having to knock on the staff door next door to request towels. Same thing another day. The breakfast is nothing but dry crockpot oatmeal with toppings and pop tarts. The oatmeal was ok for a day or two, but we got really sick of it by the third day. As far as sleep, I had a hard time because the windows only had pull down shades which didn't fit well and the sun started streaming in the back window early. The bed was comfortable but the pull out sofa bed was miserable. I felt bad that my daughter had to sleep on it. We were in Pullman to help my daughter move into her new apartment, so the uncomfortable bed pushed her to start sleeping in her apartment before it was even fully ready. The parking was a nightmare. The second night we returned late and couldn't find a spot. We tried to go to the office to ask where to park, but the office was closed. We drove around back and parked. We didn't notice any no parking signs. The next morning we had a tow warning notice on our car. We were never told where the overflow parking was - just not to park in the EV spots. Apparently you can park on the side of the hotel, but not the back. Thank goodness we didn't have our car towed! The three positives: The free drink on the first night was a nice perk. The people in the office were pretty friendly. The main bed was comfortable. The negatives: - No elevator - Loud, subpar AC - Floodlight in bathroom window - Rickety bathroom door - Poor drainage in shower - Tiny, dirty bathroom - No housekeeping or fresh towels - Very little parking - Limited breakfast (oatmeal and pop tarts only) - Uncomfortable pull out bed - No way to contact front desk, except calling main reservation line and getting an AI assistant or going down to office and speaking to someone (if they're there). - Dilapidated and dirty rooms We have stayed in Pullman before and while we understand that accommodation options are limited, we were shocked that this hotel had such raving reviews. It makes us question the validity of all this reviews...

This seems like one of the nicer options that's available. It's exactly what you'd expect from a Hampton inn. The rooms are nice. The staff was friendly and professional. There is an indoor pool as well. I didn't use it, but it's there. There is also a gym. The hotel has a restaurant, it's Washington State University themed if that matters to you. They also offer breakfast. They also have the snack pantry at the front of the hotel that offers highly overpriced items, but it's there and it's convenient. They also do something where they have milk and cookies for free in the lobby at night, don't quote me on the exact times. Overall, in Pullman your options are limited, and this is a good option from my perspective.

Nice shops and restaurants all around that you can stroll to. Free parking. Coffee maker, fridge, microwave, and hair dryer in room. We felt very safe for walking in the area at night. Lots of food choices nearby. After a sleep we determined that the bed comfort was good to ok. Pretty solid and firm mattresses with white sheets and a thin blanket. Good temp control in room. Not too hot but not cold. Best part was check in and check out via text is amazingly convenient. Cons: paper thin walls, so we can hear noise from other rooms. Plus the noisy traffic on Jefferson Street is very loud since it's a very, very busy street basically all day and night. Noted at 11pm there is still constant traffic swishing by. Super Thin windows with tissue paper thin blinds so there is absolutely no noise buffering. Could also hear music beats vibrating through walls. Sorry your ear plugs do not protect from music vibrations since there is no definitive sound but still can feel the beat while not hearing lyrics. I'm a heavy sleeper but woken up by this noise after several hours sleeping is too much! Then in the morning around 5:30 AM, the noise started through the walls again with the neighbor's bedside clock alarm going off . The in-room provided alarm clocks suck...as ours unexpectedly went off by 6am as well!!!!!! Plus we could hear the neighbor's voices through the walls word for word in the morning. An additional improvement suggestion that I think is very important for personal safety: the owners should install a deadbolt in addition to a single swing bar lock at the top of the door that they currently offer. Since this motel does remote check in via text their door locks are pin coded. It is very unsettling to think how little security the physical doors offer with a single swing lock inside. I would've felt much more secure inside the room if they also had a manual deadbolt above the door knob. Noted, this accommodation was much less expensive than other places in the area that were double what we paid here. Still we paid well over $200 on a Friday night. This is bottom tier lodging for sure but a trade off in saving money while being in an excellent location. Thankfully the streets in this area appear safe. Location is excellent for convenience but maybe not rest. Beware.

It felt like we had a whole house to ourselves. Had we not been so exhausted from traveling all day, we would not have wanted to go to sleep because the views of the night sky and Moscow town lights in the valley below are so breathtaking. We did sleep though, and soundly - there was no city noise to distract us. Also the owners were great hosts and were very knowledgeable about the area, offering great recommendations for day drives and hikes. I would recommend this place to all travelers wanting to experience the beauty of Idaho.

The pie had a great taste with a fluffy airy texture, yet still creamy. The huckleberry flavor was subtle and not too too sweet, but just the right berry sweet. There were berries in every bite. Instead of the traditional meringue topping, it was whipped cream sprinkled with sugar crystals. It's worth noting, the crust was really yummy and softly crumbled with each bite. The pie to whipped topping to crust--all in all, I'm satisfied with the ratio and portion. I appreciate the majority of their baked goods are made in-house. I would get this pie again. We enjoyed breakfast here both mornings, which was much better than anything on the go, and the happy hour bar was nice to unwind in. Check in was fine, although they forgot to acknowledge my Bonvoy rewards. Once I asked if they had bottled water, they remembered my reward snacks. The beds are hard and the pillows are soft, so that was a bummer. They provide soap and shampoo in the shower but no extra amenities/vanity kits. Location is key, right on campus makes it easy to get around for WSU events. Parking is convenient and free.
