Very nice accommodations. Price is not exceptionally low, but they are often booked full. Limited dining in town.

It's not as fancy as a Marriott or Hilton, but you don't need that if you are just looking for a safe, convenient, and interesting place to stay! Nothing boring about Nintendos and a chalkboard to draw on in each room, a cozy fire pit, & the World's longest oatmeal bar (vegan-friendly, and you can ask for gluten-free oats, too)! The staff are all friendly and communicative via text, email, or phone! They will text you a door code if you arrive too late to check-in in person. Definitely stay here if you have dogs because this is one of the rare hotels that do not charge extra for dogs unless damage occurs! And while most hotels limit you to two dogs, we were okay with three (and we told them ahead of time)! The fire pit was a nice place to hang out with our group and doggos, and we met some nice people who were visiting with their dogs as well. You also get a free drink token upon arrival, and there are events on select nights. If you don't want to hang out at the hotel, downtown Pullman is just across the street! The hotel is on a main road, so you can hear the street starting around 6:30am, but the nights were very quiet. Because this is more of motel, there isn't daily cleaning by default and no iron or coffee amenities in each room, so just be mindful of that when planning. Parking in the main area can be a bit tight in the evenings but there is a another lot on the other side that remained mostly empty. We were even able to slow charge our EV in one of the spots. All in all, great small town hospitality experience for a great price! Way more interesting than a fancy hotel!

My biggest complaint is the mattress which had a huge dip on the right side so no one could sleep there. Because of this, I probably wouldn't stay there again.

If I could, I wouldn't give any stars to the management of Boyer Park. The location is excellent,…read morethe park is decent, however the management is horrendous. Mike and Monica Olmstead who are the owners of this place are bullies and micromanage everything. We came out here to do the pikeminnow program as well as work nearby so we are long term campers. We had planned to stay for approximately 6 months but will be leaving after only 2 months of putting up with absolute bullshit. First off, they give fishermen who are here for the pikeminnow program a monthly rate of $500. They knew we are here for the pikeminnow program but still charges us $600 per month. Mike loves to get up in your face without a regard for personal space/bubble and list off all the issues that he has with how you are camping/living. The first 2 weeks we were here, he was at our campsite daily bitching about everything under the sun. They finally gave us the list of campground rules a week after we moved there. After getting that packet of rules, we complied with making sure our campsite was abiding by the rules. Mike will still patrol the park every night and cruise around once or so during the day because he thinks he is a police officer. I'm sorry but when I camp I do it to get away from the city, to have some peace and to relax. Here we cannot, we are constantly watched. They watch every move you make and judge and will complain to you about it. Now, we have a 9 year old son with us and he enjoys riding his bike all over. At every other campground/rv park we have been to, we never had an issue with our son riding his bike by himself or with other kids. One of their campground rules are targeted towards children always must be supervised. We did not know about this rule until 1 week later and they were throwing a hissy fit about it. Every weekend when the campground fills up, there are kids all over the place being unsupervised at the docks/marina, riding their bikes to the dam and back, hanging out at the beach, and so on. We have to keep telling our son, sorry those kids are not following the rules, you have to stay with us. Also they enforce the parking rule but not with the overnighters. Only to the long term people. We can't even park our truck in front of our 5th wheel. It is still on our pad sticking out a little bit. But we make sure to not drive it on the grass. We see our neighbor who are workampers for the park drive the back tire of his truck on the grass every single time he moves it. They don't complain about that. What the heck. They don't have an issue with all the rigs parked on the road next to their camper pad during the weekend. Also they say outdoor plants are not allowed but their two parties of workampers have plants and are allowed to have it outside but we aren't. Also we understand and practice the rule of no dogs off leash, yet their workkamper has their dog off leash all the time. We are sick and tired of the owners looking the other way whenever they want but harass the hell out of us. Mike pick and chooses when he wants to enforce the rules. It is tiresome having to be on the constant lookout for Mike to come ans harass us some more. And if you call him out on his bullshit, he threatens to evict you and say that we can do it the easy way or the hard way. Monica isn't too bad but she is still a stickler for rules. We get the rules but they go excessively and do not even enforce the rules with everyone. They only choose who they want to pick on. Now for those who want to come here, just come on the weekends, they won't harass you.

We were hungry and decided to check the menu. We're both off the gluten thing and are usually satisfied with a bunless burger. The Almota burger sounded a couple notches better than we expected. In fact the entire menu was pretty outstanding to read. So we got the burger and holy, it had to be the best burger we've had in years. If the burger was any indication of their cooking prowess then we've discovered a gem. We're going to go back and camp at Boyer Park and try some other delectable items. The atmosphere is quiet and friendly. You won't be sorry you made the drive!

Nice shops and restaurants all around that you can stroll to. Free parking. Coffee maker, fridge, microwave, and hair dryer in room. We felt very safe for walking in the area at night. Lots of food choices nearby. After a sleep we determined that the bed comfort was good to ok. Pretty solid and firm mattresses with white sheets and a thin blanket. Good temp control in room. Not too hot but not cold. Best part was check in and check out via text is amazingly convenient. Cons: paper thin walls, so we can hear noise from other rooms. Plus the noisy traffic on Jefferson Street is very loud since it's a very, very busy street basically all day and night. Noted at 11pm there is still constant traffic swishing by. Super Thin windows with tissue paper thin blinds so there is absolutely no noise buffering. Could also hear music beats vibrating through walls. Sorry your ear plugs do not protect from music vibrations since there is no definitive sound but still can feel the beat while not hearing lyrics. I'm a heavy sleeper but woken up by this noise after several hours sleeping is too much! Then in the morning around 5:30 AM, the noise started through the walls again with the neighbor's bedside clock alarm going off . The in-room provided alarm clocks suck...as ours unexpectedly went off by 6am as well!!!!!! Plus we could hear the neighbor's voices through the walls word for word in the morning. An additional improvement suggestion that I think is very important for personal safety: the owners should install a deadbolt in addition to a single swing bar lock at the top of the door that they currently offer. Since this motel does remote check in via text their door locks are pin coded. It is very unsettling to think how little security the physical doors offer with a single swing lock inside. I would've felt much more secure inside the room if they also had a manual deadbolt above the door knob. Noted, this accommodation was much less expensive than other places in the area that were double what we paid here. Still we paid well over $200 on a Friday night. This is bottom tier lodging for sure but a trade off in saving money while being in an excellent location. Thankfully the streets in this area appear safe. Location is excellent for convenience but maybe not rest. Beware.
