The other company noted (see photos) that the area around the vent was still dirty, and at least one of the vents (which had recently been painted and had unbroken paint on the screws) looked like it hadn't been opened. When I brought this up to the company and requested a refund, I was told that I had paid for a basic cleaning, which covered the interior of the duct lines but didn't include vents and covers, and that those were covered under a deep cleaning service. I was not informed that there was a difference in cleaning types when setting up the service, and I noted that their website didn't specify this, either. Specifically, their website states, "Utilizing advanced equipment and industry-approved techniques, our skilled technicians meticulously clean all components of your duct system. This includes the supply and return ducts, registers, grills, diffusers, and associated parts." Their website also uses the phrase "beyond basic cleaning" to describe their sanitation and deodorization services--not their register/grille cleaning. After I pointed out via text that their website doesn't distinguish between basic and deep cleaning, I was ghosted. If you're going to pay for this, be aware of what you're getting.

They should have sealed it properly (POOR WORKMANSHIP) later the seal failed and I cooled my attic unknowingly for 3 months and my AC bill went through the roof and I had to pay $3k to replace the blower. Ductz said "um, sorry" They didn't take any responsibility. I even had a prof AC company agree that it was poor workmanship. Now I have to deal with this in small claims court. I was getting a musty smell through the condo and living in Florida I assumed it was mold. This company is rated and licensed to handle it all. When Luis R. from ADA came out to the condo today, I was impressed at his knowledge and understanding of the task at hand. I was also very pleased at his availability to break down the information so I was able to understand. it. The total charge for all this was to be around $500 for the cleaning, inspection and remediation of the mold. I was astounded to learn that not only was Luis and ADA a very highly rated company, they are honest. Luis advised me I did not need mold remediation and the cleaning and fumigation would be sufficient. He also checked the air handler and told me it was in good shape and there would be no need to treat it or my ducts for mold. It seems there may be a problem above me. Instead of a usual company that wants to make every last cent they can, this company actually cares about the customer and only provides what you need or what you ask for. It appears this company does things the old fashion way. You treat a customer with awesome customer service and honesty and they will be back. GREAT JOB LUIS AND ADA. We bought a house that had been home to 5 cats and 2 dogs, and there were all kinds of hair, dirt, and odor problems when we started cleaning the house. After seeing what was in the tracks of the sliding glass doors and on the floors, I refused to turn on the A/C until I could have the ducts cleaned. We had to postpone several times because of messy work inside the house, but the staff at ADA were always courteous and accommodating. When the day of the scheduled cleaning finally arrived, Tim was prompt, professional, and did an exceptional job cleaning and servicing the system. He cleaned out all of the vents, painted the inside of the vents with an anti-microbial paint, and detailed the air handler incredibly well. I have complete confidence in the work he did, and the house is so much cleaner (and smells SO much better) than it was before ADA came. We are breathing much easier now. I'd recommend them to anyone! The price was very fair for the amount of work that was done, and well worth every penny for the health of our lungs!
