It lacked flavor and appears they were totally reliant on the sauce to give it flavor. Old bay fries were just ok..nothing to write home about. Drinks were also just average. Even for non top shelf drinks they were pretty costly. Nice vibes but can't say I would recommend. Food absolutely needs improvement and happy hour selections needs to be enhanced. read more

This was honestly the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. I'm still mad thinking about it. Let's start with the service. There was only one server struggling to run the bar while another employee just sat at the bar glued to TikTok, not lifting a finger. I ordered a beer and a cocktail at the bar, and the server just disappeared to help someone else while I stood there waiting like an idiot. They don't serve tables. You have to order at the bar, pick up your own food, and then eat it out of to-go boxes like you're at a takeout joint... except they still force a 20% tip on the bill. For what? There's no table service, no one checks on you, and you're doing everything yourself. We ordered potato skins, wings, tostones, and an alcapurria. The potato skins were disgusting--drenched in cheap gas station nacho cheese. The wings and tostones were clearly frozen, low-quality, store-brand stuff. I was genuinely hungry and still couldn't eat it. And I never throw away food. And just when I thought it couldn't get worse--they charged my card for someone else's food and then GAVE MY CARD TO THAT PERSON. Seriously. I had to cancel my credit card, freeze my account, and now I have to update all my autopay bills just because of this place's incompetence. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away. If we could give 0 stars, this place would deserve it. Food is horrible, service is terrible. Ambiance is supposed to be "tiki" but there's nothing tiki about this place. They charge a cover charge after 8pm, HOWEVER, if you are there at 6pm and stay after 8pm, they charge you the cover charge anyway. Be sure to eat before you get there cuz it takes FOREVER to get your food. Which you would think the food would be worth the wait, it's not. Be sure to pay with CASH. They sneak in a 20% gratuity that is not listed on the menu. Maybe if their bartenders were better at their jobs and a little nicer people would tip better but since they don't even know how to make a simple cocktail and are nasty to people I can see why they add in the gratuity automatically. Cuz as you know the establishment has to make sure the bartenders tips and their hourly rate equals out to the states min wage. Oh and here's the kicker. You need to be 25 to enter this horrible establishment. Which is laughable because this place never had any trouble until the new owners took over. This is a place no one should go too me and my wife went for drinks and snacks when we got our check the thieves added a $50 charge for walking in without telling us my bill was $130 plus they added the $50 without any notice I been in the business for 25 years and by law that is not something you do without notice. This bar has become over run with biker clubs. Once they arrive you are guaranteed not to get service. The bar also has signs posted that say if your credit card is left overnight, you will be automatically charged 20%. Which is fine. However, the past two times we have been there. We are charged 20% gratuity regardless if we use cash or card and I looked this up and it is illegal for an establishment to do this. Being that we have never had at 20% service I feel the need to complain, if the service was great, this would not be an issue. However, they are not earning their tips, they ignore their guests, knowing that they will be getting 20% regardless of what they do. This past time we went I ordered the wings and tostones, I asked for them to include three sauces when I got my bill I realized I was charged 80¢ for each one. I'm confused since when do wings not come with any sauce?? We have been regular customers for two years now and have even supported their contributions to fight cancer by purchasing eight koozies over the last two years and after this time, we were finally able to bring two home since the previous seasons were "disposed" of by staff. read more

The food was terrible!!! I left the bar maid know how bad the food was in Spanish so as not to alert the other guests. She just said I'm sorry and didn't even offer to replace the tostones I was given. I saw her speak to the owner who didn't even flinch about the food review. I explained that it was an insult cooking Spanish food this way. The flavor and cooking style was no way near what it should be. I felt bad for them and the flys were horrible. The owner was spraying some type of chemical as I drank and ate. I had to leave. Terrible! One of the bar maids was using profanity like it was normal speech. I grew up in this area. This is an outdoor makeshift "hut" lavishly decorated from the dollar store built with 2x4's and plywood from Home Depot. It sits in a former old vacant dilapidated parking lot - which they have failed to pave I might add. It attracts more for those of the whiter shades - biker gangs and local trash. Before I go on, I must qualify my next statements. I am of mixed race and rest assured I have friends and family of all races. Yet I KNOW when "my money is no good here." Matter of fact, I can say the food is no good here either. IMO this place is NOT African American friendly nor do I recommend anyone who respects how other racial groups are treated stop here either. You with your black, brown, or tan skin do not bother and those who live in the predominantly black neighboring communities already know! That is I suppose unless you like feeling awkward and supremely out of place. This is mainly for you Yelpers just passing through. In summation: Spend your money and time in a more worthy establishment - try Buffalo Wild Wings or one of the other good spots just down the road. Highly do NOT recommend this place. Staff was unfriendly and rude. I went for a girls day on a Saturday afternoon there was maybe 5 customers but the bartender would not allow us to push 2 tables together to keep my party together. We were told it would be in the way even tho there was not one customer and we were in a corner not in the middle of any walk way. Meanwhile across the other side there was a party that had tables pushed together with no problem. The drinks were overpriced with very little to no alcohol so expect to pay $15 for a cup of juice. Please educate your staff on what is on your menu when ordering a Latin appetizer the bartender was clueless asking what is that it was clearly on the menu or I wouldn't have asked for it. The food was terrible it took over an hour to get our food which were all appetizers and she forgot one of our items. Service was horrible for a slow weekend night.. bartenders will walk past you numerous times until you ask for another drink or to put your food order in. Some of the bartenders knew the locals at the bar and were taking pics/talking while ignoring the other patrons. Waited over 45 minutes for sub par nachos and tacos. The shredded cheese on the nachos was hardly melted and there were globs canned chili poured over too. I could of made something much more appetizing at home. The $10 "island nachos" were certainly not worth the money or wait! The couple that also ordered after us had their wings come out before our food. Not sure what's going on in kitchen but it needs to be addressed.. I had been at this bar a couple times a year ago and felt the food and service was much better and professional. DON'T get the sausage peppers and onions sandwich, sausage had NO taste, looked nasty and it didn't look like sausage. I asked the bartender what kind of sausage it was and she didn't know, I said it was horrible and all she could say was I'm sorry. I literally picked at my sandwich and wasn't offered something different. A week later I had gone to Sam's and I think I saw the sausage they use, it was a fatty cheap breakfast sausage patties. The bread was stale and I was charged .80 cents for this little plastic container of mayonnaise. I had to ask for napkins, the mixed drinks tasted like fruit juice and over priced. My friend and I asked to have the check split, 2 barmaids were talking about it and one did a head nod towards us and the other one looked at us like it was bothersome. We were asked twice if we needed anything. Took forever to get our food. My friend's grilled cheese sandwich was made with 4 slices of bread......WHY?? The bacon on her sandwich was literally burnt. Great place in the summer to hang out, with a tropical feel in the middle of a dirt lot in Sicklerville! Hard to do but the owner here does a great job of making you feel on "summertime holiday" when in reality you are five miles from home. Food that I've tried is basic bar food but tasty and decently priced. You can tell its a regulars bar for sure, even the roof is covered in can coozies with regulars' names on them to be used on their next visit. The bartenders and owner seemed to greet everyone personally and know the family details/ history etc. Cool little bar that works in a place you would not expect it to.
