Great outdoor/indoor bar right on the water!…read more After several visits to this establishment, I can confidently say that their food does not disappoint. And in light of our COVID-19 reality right now, the Wonder Bar had adapted ample outdoor seating that's efficient and comfortable. Masks are required when using the indoor restrooms, but otherwise everything else is outdoors. We recently arrived on a Thursday evening by boat for a late snack (10:00 PM) and the kitchen was still open. We also realized that you can also enjoy a little hookah action at the Wonder Bar also. Tres cool! The crowd is diverse and we love that. Great food, cold drinks, and beautiful intercostal and sunset views. It's a great place for a bit of summer normalcy during the pandemic!

This bar is unquestionably a locals' hangout on a late Monday night. It attracted a solid crowd,…read moreand the drinks were excellent. There was only one bartender and one waitress handling food service. Neither of them took conflicting orders; she prepared food, he served drinks--plain and simple. Regarding the experience, I ordered a whole pizza with cheese and pepperoni, and it was truly terrible. Everything about that pizza was revolting--by far the worst I've ever had. One of my friends ordered pretzel bites with cheese, which were decent, but I promptly discarded the pizza and returned to my cocktails, which were the highlight of the evening. As I mentioned earlier, the crowd was lively, consisting mainly of younger, college-aged adults rather than seasoned locals, so we didn't stay long enough to mingle.

It has been a few years since my initial review of The Point. I gave this location four stars and,…read morein the years since, it has definitely a solid place for visitors and locals alike. Here are the positives: 1. The menu: They have a very extensive drink menu, with plenty of cocktails, including margaritas, canned drinks, and other specialty drinks. I wish they would serve more mocktails, but that's just me. 2. The atmosphere: This is an excellent place to enjoy the bayside views and hear live music, and it's even on a sunny day. 3. The service: This location has plenty of staff on hand, but you may have to flag someone down if it's busy. The food and drinks here are very good and compliment the atmosphere very well. I will say there are a couple of downsides: Cover charge: If you want to come here on the weekend, be prepared to pay at the door. The cost to come here is $5 per person, and while that may be alright for those who are vacationing here, it can become quite costly for locals. I really wish places like this offered a seasonal pass then I'd be back much more often. One of the more negative experiences I had was using the bathroom. I did have an incident at the Somers Point location where I locked the bathroom door and a member of their staff walked in on me and, at one point, banged a broom against the window. I'm not sure if any of their locations have some type of bathroom policy, but it didn't seem quite professional and felt very awkward. If you plan on using the bathroom here, make sure the door if completely locked.

The Point Bar is a complete rip-off; the food is mediocre at best and astronomically overpriced for…read morewhat you actually get. To make matters worse, The bouncer is a total power-tripping jerk, he gave my 22-year-old daughter an unnecessary, condescending hard time over her ID like he was guarding Fort Knox. Avoid this place unless you enjoy being overcharged and treated like garbage.

Leashed and friendly dogs are welcome, and we loved all the different spaces to relax and hang out with your pup. Grab a seat around the bar beneath the massive tiki hut, lounge on the comfy couches, or unwind outside on the lawn near the waterfall and firepit. Their food and drink menu is huge, making this a great spot to settle in for a fun meal in a truly unique setting. Our server, Lacie, was incredibly friendly and made the experience even better with her warm hospitality and delicious drink recommendations! We highly recommend the White Gummy Snack, a tasty white gummy bear-inspired shot, and the Bursting Star, a sweet pink Starburst-themed drink that totally lives up to the name. Come have fun, whether it is watching the game on their TVs, playing pool, or chatting with the friendly locals who love bringing their dogs along for the fun. This place feels like a little tiki escape hidden in the woods.

It lacked flavor and appears they were totally reliant on the sauce to give it flavor. Old bay fries were just ok..nothing to write home about. Drinks were also just average. Even for non top shelf drinks they were pretty costly. Nice vibes but can't say I would recommend. Food absolutely needs improvement and happy hour selections needs to be enhanced.

This is a really fun place to listen to live music. The band we saw played from 6 - 10 pm. Tropical…read morethemed... sand... palm trees. Fun! They have frozen drinks! Lots of room to dance or sit at a table. Food was terrible. I'm not a fussy eater and it just wasn't good. Menu is limited. I got the taco box w beef tacos. Not good. My friend got the chicken tenders. Didn't come with anything and were below average. Service was not great. I sat at the bar and every time I needed a drink or to place my food order, I had to physically wave the bartender over. She wouldn't just take the que of me standing there staring at her w an empty cup. Parking - need to find a spot on the street and pay w ParkMobile. There are a few lots in the area that use ParkMobile but they were full when we were looking. We finally found a space a few blocks away for free. In summary, I'd def return for some drinks and live music!

Possibly the worst cheesesteak sandwich I ever had. Regular bread, Nacho Cheese Sauce, Not packed with meat, and served with side of fresh cut potato chips which was possibly the best thing on the plate although it tasted like it was over cooked. Shawns Cheesesteak down the block is a better place to go. Tried the "Crispy Shrimp and Mango" (not pictured) from a friend which I was originally going to get. The waitress told me it came with 3pcs so i passed on it because 3 shrimps for $15.50 is crazy work. When it came out my friend told me it actually came with 5 pieces which was a little better. The taste was actually pretty good nice size pieces and a mix of sweetness and spiciness One thing i will also add... If customers are paying to eat, you shouldn't charge them the $5 entry fee. It'll leave a bitter taste in their mouth especially since the food wasn't good.

It was the middle of the day so the place was pretty empty. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very cool. She had some good shows on TV and she poured heavy. The bar had a bunch of funny signs all over the place. It's a chill dive bar and I'm sure on a busy night it's probably a great place to grab an unpretentious drink. We found out we could buy drinks from BS and bring them next door which get you around the whole no alcohol situation. I mean, if you're going to Bare Exposure in the daytime, you might want to grab a stiff drink beforehand.

When we asked for our second drink the bartender was about to make them and got stopped by another customer who she talked to for a while. We thought then she would make them and as other people entered, she was serving them first. We were 2 of the only people sitting at the bar with our empty glasses right in front of us waiting (we waited for about 20 minutes). We couldn't believe it! We were given the wrong change and it was just a mess! Hopefully it was just an off night but we unfortunately will not be back.
