There's almost always some sort of event going on so it's a nice place to just stop by and check out if you have some time to chill. I've liked that there are random events and they can be hit or miss. Sometimes there's interesting musical guests, sometimes there are various vendors, sometimes there's a movie night. You can come casual & still have elevated cocktails in an adult lounge atmosphere. I am not a beer drinker so I come to seat in the lounge. The cocktails are well balanced & enjoyable. I love that you can order their more creative drinks or stick to the classics. They do both drink types well! I tried the food this time. The chicken sliders & the hamburger sliders were both very tasty. I would absolutely get them again. This is a really great place to stop by when you want a grown atmosphere in a casual setting or if you want a great cocktail when you are with the family. You must be 21 to sit in the lounge but you can order a cocktail & take it to the outdoor seating which is very family friendly. It's so wonderful to have this place in southwest Houston (Katy). However, the over 21 Cocktail Lounge adjacent to the energetic beer hall was made for me and my style of chill. The bartenders are serious about their craft and have lots of personality. Great drinks and great vibe are very hard to beat. Food here is more than a just bar food, it's actually good. The menu will never be the main driver of coming back but it hits the spot so still come hungry. The lounge is smaller and darker lighting than the beer hall but still very spacious. The music is loud enough to enjoy but doesn't interfere with a table conversation. I'll continue to pass up many bars to get here in the future.
