Here for the Bayern München game!!

I had the best time today at Pitch 25. We attended the watch party for Bayern Münich vs Borussia Dortmund. The venue is spacious and comfortable with seating inside and a large beer garden outside. TVs are everywhere. Ordering food and drinks is easy and the waitstaff are attentive.

This spot is a MUST if you're in the area for a sporting event in Houston. Tons of of space for large groups, screens everywhere so you won't miss a minute of any of the sports action. This was my 3rd visit there but my first time ordering food. Super skeptical about places that are large sports bars and serving food so expectations were low, however... the food was very good! Got the beef sliders, crispy fries and popcorn chicken. Perfect spread at a reasonable price to snack on while watching the game. If you're looking for a pregame spot, or even during game spot, highly recommend checking this place out with friends or family. Service was ok, just not super friendly and just wanted to give you what you needed to move on from the bar.

I always meet up here with friends before the Astros game for drinks. And a couple of years ago we had an event for work using their outside space. Their service is great and their finger foods are better.!! It has an actual indoor soccer field, so there are games going on sometimes, I'm not sure if it's a private thing or they have lessons but it's neat to watch Definitely recommend

e moment you walk into Pitch 25, the vibe just slaps you -- rustic, warm, and giving "yes, we built all this on purpose." Beer buckets stacked like décor, a long wide bar stretching across the room, TVs everywhere like a Buffalo Wild Wings went to grad school. They've got couch seating for date-night coziness, a little private room that looks rentable, and then -- plot twist -- a whole co-ed indoor soccer arena. Yes, inside. Real people playing real soccer while you sip your drink. Games everywhere too: pinball, basketball, Jenga on the tables... a whole adult playground. And the food? That super-sized pretzel came out cut in four, served with Creole mustard and queso. It was a little overcooked... but still good enough for us to keep eating like we didn't notice. Ambiance: A1. Would I bring a date here? Absolutely. Especially the one who can hold conversation and hold a drink.

This place was fun-we came here for a work event. The food was really tasty and they had a lot of local beer options. I also really liked the turf lawn game area. They had tons of tables and unique seating areas. If I lived locally I'd definitely be back here. The beers overall were a bit pricey and the bouncer was a little pushy when it was closing time, which I understand, but maybe could have been handled a bit better.

I visited here for an industry happy hour event after a conference and they knocked it out of the park (no pun intended). We must've had at least 200 people but it did not feel like it at all due to the spacious venue and quick, professional service. I love how they have multiple places to drink and hang out and also indoor cornhole, a few arcade games, and axe throwing! We never had a lack of things to do. All the drinks we ordered were well-made. I am definitely coming back the next time I'm in Houston! Also shout out to the manager Emily. She handled our event so well and was very personable as well.

Came here for a group happy hour during the week. It's a large space and it appears to have at least three private spaces, two small and one really big one. Our group was less than 15 people so we had plenty of room to navigate and talk. We had to order at the main bar but then the servers who were really nice and attentive would bring the drinks to our room. Everyone enjoyed their drinks and snacks. I could see this place being packed on the weekends and with the number of screens and because they offer food, it's a great alternative to Little Woodrows.

Located a stone's throw away from Minute Maid Park in the heart of EaDo, Pitch 25 is exactly what I imagined a Texas sized sports bar should look like. Depending on the night of the week, it's a bustling mega venue complete with multiple bars, a hustling staff, TVs in all directions, music for days, and hordes of nightlife goers and sports fans all imbibing at the same time. In other words, this is my kind of place. This is the perfect venue to accommodate a large group. Whether it's a handful of friends or a massive group gathering of a few dozen folks, there is no shortage of room here. There are public spaces filled with communal tables, private lounge areas complete with couches and dividers, plenty of room to roam, and multiple bars with a bustling team of bartenders. With a dedicated field in the middle of the venue, there are opportunities for all kinds of sporting events. Be it league play, kids games, bubble soccer, ultimate frisbee, or just a place to run around, it's one of the only places in the city that offers such a niche amenity. For those who want more stationary action, there is also an arcade area with actual video with table games such as shuffleboard, table tennis, foosball, and air hockey. They definitely live up to the beer'y hype. There is an endless amount of taps here and an extensive beer selection that rivals any in the city. The variety might seem overwhelming, but don't be afraid to ask for small samples from the bartender. There are also cocktails and frozen drinks, which come in handy during the warm weather days. Bar food usually doesn't get emphasized in general and I wouldn't say it's much different here. Minus the burgers (shout out to the hangover burger) I find the tacos, salads and snacks to be average at best. They make for solid sports watching foods, but nothing I'd recommend going out of the way for. The team is so big, it's hard to narrow down the service side, which generally has been good. The bouncers at the door on game and weekend nights are there to sus out oddballs and the bartenders are really just looking to serve drinks quickly. Folks looking to do a bit more coordination might have to deal with the corporate side a bit, but I imagine they handle large parties with catering all the time. Pitch 25 can come through in a pinch and still be a viable venue for thirsty folks in bunches. It's an added bonus for actual sports fans and a solid place to turn up to for a little breathing room, especially on a weeknight.

If they had a 4.5 stars, that's what it would have been! This place had everything we needed for a place to kill time, watch the games, and eat before our flight. The staff was accommodating and helpful. The games, free play on the soccer pitch, & plenty of tvs was fantastic! Loved the decor & vibe of this place. The only reason why I gave 4 stars was because the regular food menu was not available until 3pm on the day we were there. I love a good brunch but we were hoping for more "bar" food for the games! If we are ever back in town, we would definitely return.

Ambiance: Soccer themed bar with multiple seating options including an outdoor patio area, indoor lounge area, & high top tables. Multiple TV screens throughout, making it the perfect spot to watch trending sporting events. Dog friendly patio. Indoor pick up soccer turf available to rent out or join in on. A must visit for a soccer fan, birthday, sporting event, or Saturday hanging out. Street & paid parking available nearby. Does get extremely busy when there's a Dynamo or Astros game! Walking distance to other bars & restaurants. They do serve food and multiple drink options, including cocktails and beer. Somewhat pricey for a beer spot but worth it for the atmosphere and being in EaDo.

GET THE BUFFALO CHICKEN BITES!! Service was great. Came here for my 21st almost a year ago and just realized I never reviewed. They were super nice and patient since we had a group of people. A mechanical bull also showed up and we had a BLAST! Great music, cornhole floor, arcade games, Photo Booth. Go here.

I was there to watch the Super Bowl so bare that in mind when you read this since it may not be indicative of a typical day. The place was ok but it didn't feel all that inviting. You go in and there are several lines for the bar but there was no order to them. I was in the far right line thinking it was for the bartender who was working that side but then she called on someone on the next line. They were friendly when you finally got there though. I was pretty hungry and wanted to eat first before drinking but they really don't have anything besides the terrible fountain drinks - no iced tea or something not carbonated so I just ordered food and went to get a cup of water only for it to be out too. I got the Classic Chicken sandwich but there wasn't a whole lot of chicken on it and what little chicken was there just slipped right out so pro tip: get a fork. It was tasty but could have been more. When I finally went to get a beer which for me is a treat since I don't drink it often, they were out of the first two choices which seemed odd because you'd think on Super Bowl Sunday, they'd be ready but 3rd time was a charm. The other people on my table were complaining about them being out of the drinks they wanted too. The TV positions are actually very good. You can sit anywhere and have a TV facing you. With all the TVs being on the same channel though, you would expect a uniform sound system but the sound was terrible so we couldn't hear the announcers . They need to sync up the sound or something. Last, there were way too many kids there. Who the hell brings their kids to a bar on a night where there are so many drunks and fights that can break out? Why do they even allow kids? One of them broke a glass and made kind of a scene, but they shouldn't have even been allowed there IMO. Anyway, it seems like an OK place to go if you're going to watch a game there or if you are going to an Astros or Dynamo game but it wouldn't be my first choice.

I'm impressed !…read more Came here to watch a WC game on a Sunday. We arrived an hour before the start. The seating assignment is strange. Despite being quite empty at that time, we had to be on a waitlist system for about 20 min. Maybe people signed up for that time slot, unclear ? The tables do move. We were originally assigned right under the TVs, which defeated our purpose of watching the game. We moved our table back, enough to not pinch our neck. It's a great location for game watching. TVs are set all throughout the bar. Bonus if there are two or more sport events. That evening, we could watch a WC game and a UFC fight at the same time. What surprised me was the quality of the food. The wings were excellent, the burger came out quickly as well. The fries could be crispier. The tots were good. Wish they offered sweet potato fries. Overall pricing is a bit on the higher side. So watch your alcohol consumption, lol! Now, it is downtown so parking isn't the best. Use a rideshare. I can be convinced to go back for their wings. They were really delicious !

Don't know why there wasn't one tv showing any baseball game, including the Astros game on at the same time.) The bar is fine; the seats not the most comfortable; the food is overpriced bland Sysco, with the atmosphere too loud for the friendly waitstaff to hear you. I had a salmon Caesar, which was fine, but $31 plus a hidden 4% service charge for not a lot of lettuce, dressing, and four croutons. An app (chips and bland dip, skimped on the chips) and two entrees, a 16 oz beer and two mixed drinks was $145 with tax and tip. Agonizing to pay that much for a mid experience, especially with the other costs in time and money. Guaranteeing seats for the game without showing up ages in advance cost $40/seat and we didn't get the advertised VIP World Cup goody-bag package we were promised. Worst part of the night was getting out. 45 minutes stuck in the $10 Greenstreet parking garage because the scanners weren't working, but it's that or $40 of Ubers. So ~$250 for a less-than-mid evening that wasn't especially relaxing.
