I ordered the Original Acai Bowl. As always, the presentation was beautiful, but the acai itself was disappointing. Instead of the thick, spoonable consistency I was expecting, the base was more like an acai smoothie. If I wanted a smoothie, I would have ordered one. The toppings were great, but the consistency of the acai really changed the overall experience. Service also felt minimal. Since we ordered and paid on our phones and had to get our own water, the only service we really received was having our food brought to the table. We still tipped around 20%, but it didn't feel like the level of service matched the tip. Overall, this visit didn't live up to my previous experiences here. While I appreciate the convenience of the new ordering system, the change in the acai bowl and the limited service make me question whether I'll be returning anytime soon.

You can even make it a pre-Costco shopping delight stop. The menu is always changing but it feels like there's always something delicious to be had. My favorite is the Rocky Road where they actually add marshmallows on top and toast it for you. The Buttah Cakes has also been a recent gem that we've tried lately and it's absolutely delicious. Since it's freshly made, it's rich, creamy, and even a little scoop goes a long way. They even make waffle cones in store if you want to spruce things up for your dessert experience. The staff are friendly and handle rushes of customers well for the size of the shop. We're lucky to have a great shop like this in central Oahu so you don't have to drive all the way to town for a great ice cream fix.

However, I remember when they used to have flavors that I could not get elsewhere but it feels pretty basic nowadays. They give bigger single scoops at Baskin Robbin's for the same price or even a couple cents more. Ambiance: 5/5 I say there's ample enough seating and it feels clean and comfortable. I like sitting near the window but I just don't like that their one and only trash can is right next to that table. Verdict: I am not sure if I will be coming back. In…read morethis summertime heat so whatever I'm doing and today was some retail therapy and as I was shoe shopping and since it's been awhile it had to be tea time and with the other tea spot was flooded with peeps I did a search and was so happy to find a spot with a short drive in the area. Taste Tea is located in Waikele Premium Outlet which is divided in to two section and Taste Tea is located in the area with Lowe's and Old Navy area and is found along the fence and not in the McDonald's food area. This tiny trailer does have it all like any full service store with menu filled with options for me it was the simple "Honey Iced Tea" and with the choice of teas it was Spring Tea my favorite with light sweetness was a nice and refreshing sip. The only downside is there not seating in this area regardless of the freeway vibe and is pretty much a grab and go situation though love the convenience of having this spot with lots of free parking does make very Taste Tea. Thank you!

However, it does tend to get really busy and sometimes when I see how backed up it is, I just leave. I do feel that they prioritize the drive-thru over walking in because a few times I would just go in to order if the drive-thru is busy and the barista taking my order appears to be taking and making orders for the drive-thru. There were also a few instances I saw where you can't even go in to order and could only go to the drive-thru. I do understand when they say they're short-staffed and I see how it can get pretty busy. I'm just sharing my past experience but I do continue to come here because my drinks are always made to how I like it and I love that they're open a little later than other coffee shops! They also were letting you pay the difference because the free drinks were the og matcha latte or the strawberry matcha. I opted to get the Velvet Valentine and my husband got the salted maple matcha. We loved both our drinks. Wait wasn't long. Such cute drinks and straws as well. Milk tea was sweet but not too overpowering and the boba had the perfect chewiness! Also tried the shave ice with pudding, jellies and boba and it was soooo good!
