I wish I could give this place a 3.5 overall, but the service deserves 0 stars. From the moment we walked in, there was zero acknowledgment from the employee. She was watching Tinker Bell on the TV and didn't greet us or even look up - no hello, no smile, just awkward silence. We were the only ones in the store and still had to awkwardly approach the counter just to get help. As first-time customers, there was also no explanation of the scoop sizes or pricing, which made ordering more confusing than it needed to be. When we finally ordered, two items were made correctly, but one person in our group ordered dragonfruit gelato. The employee started scooping strawberry instead, and even after we politely pointed it out, there was no acknowledgment or apology--just silence. It made for a really uncomfortable interaction. While we were eating, the employee went into the back, and we could hear her loudly scrolling on social media with the volume on full blast, even laughing at times. Toward the end of our visit, she came back to the front, sat down, and continued on her phone. The entire atmosphere felt so awkward that we decided to leave and finish our gelato in our cars. Even as we walked out, there was no thank you, no goodbye--no acknowledgment at all. It was honestly disappointing. That said, the gelato itself is actually really good, and the interior of the shop is nice. That's the only reason I'd consider coming back. Unfortunately, the service really brought the experience down. Proper customer service training is definitely needed. The employee was on her phone at the time I approached the kiosk counter. I stood there for a moment before she noticed me. Not too friendly. Maybe I interrupted a game or social media? I asked about the gelato flavors and she pointed somewhere saying "all those flavors ". I had to look around before I saw a banner that listed the flavors. It's a happy surprise to see it exists in a place where was originally famous for its sugar cane produce. Stopped by the pearlridge location after driving from the northshore location cause staff wouldn't be back for another 2 hours. Whenever we're close to a Sugahdaddeeh's, we always get their Kane Juice. It's so fresh and refreshing, and the staff are nice and friendly. I was so happy to see their booth at the Flores de Mayo and Filipino Fiesta in Waipahu. We were supposed to get our favorite calamansi with lihing but they ran out of lihing. The calamansi cane juice itself was still pretty good and their sugarcane is always fresh and naturally sweet. It definitely beats the heat too especilly on a hot day. I told myself that I would return... especially because so many of my friends wrote reviews (Donna, Irene, Angel, Deborah, Gabriel, Rissa, Janice, Reuben, Tanyce, and Kyra). Today, I saw the new location at "Downtown Pearlridge". If you go to the mall, it's above Longs Drugs Store (that's where I usually park because it's covered). Go up the escalator, and the kiosk is by Guava Smoked, Hot Topic, and Aloha Salads. Looking at the menu, the Mason Jar is the best deal because you can get $2 off when you bring the jar back for a refill! I decided to get the Mean Buggah with blueberries, strawberries, pineapple, and calamansi juice. It was really cool to watch the gal chop up the fruits (to fit the boba straw) right there! Mmm! The juice was NOT too sweet, but just right - and it felt healthy - especially after reading about the benefits of sugar cane juice! I'm looking forward to returning and trying the other flavors! I love sugar can juice. I grew up drinking it in Chinatown. This is the upscale version of it as you can add different flavors to customize it. I usually like mine plain with nothing added. Today I wanted to try something different. I got the Sugah Behbeh's (lemon, gummy bears, li hing) in their 32 oz. jar. It's $13 for the reusable jar and an extra dollar or two for the lid and straw. It'll cost $10.50 for refills with the jar. The Sugah Behbeh was amazing. It had that sweet and salty thing going on. It totally balanced out the sweetness. Plus, I got to eat the gummy bears when I was done with the drink. The drink did have little bits of pulp in the beginning, but it didn't bother me. It probably just fell in from the juicer. I decided that we should go try one of the places on my list that we haven't been to yet. So I packed up the kids, picked up my mom and headed over. There are so many options and mixtures, it took me a while to decide. My mom opted for the coconut sugar cane juice, and I chose the Lychee! Personally, I loved them both, but my mom wasn't really feeling the coconut, she said she would have liked to taste the coconut a little more. There were options for a 24oz plastic cup or a 32oz Jar, that's $13, but refillable for $10.5! I chose the jar, and added the reusable straw and lid for another $3, totalling $16 for each of us. But totally worth it when I absolutely plan to return to have the other amazing flavors. Another thing I really liked was getting to choose the color set of the straw and lid, and the color or the lable on the jar. I wouldn't have thought it'd be so customizable, which was nice. We were looking for a place to get a refreshing drink after the swap meet. We came across this location that said open at around 10:30 but on Yelp it said it opens at 11. When I walked in, the decor is what caught my eyes. Super Cute and welcoming! When I looked at the drinks I noticed a lot of cane juices, lemonade and just a drink menu I wasn't sure we were going to like. With it being the first time trying sugar cane juice I found it to be extremely fresh and refreshing. They handpress the sugar cane on the spot which was so cool to watch! The fruits added a subtle sweetness and a nice texture. I thought that everything paired well together as it was a fruit party in my mouth! The drink itself wasn't too sweet which was perfect for me. I'd be interested in trying their other sugar cane flavors like mango or passion fruit next! The shop is located near Tamuras and Starbucks where there's plenty of parking. The small shop located in pearl ridge is worth a stop by especially if you want to something cool sweet and healthy. I know what you're thinking it's sugar so it can't be good for you.. Actually if you look at 1 of the pictures that I took there's a sign that explains the health benefits of eating unrefined fresh sugar cane and the juices out of it. The shop was clean and friendly and when we walked in we were immediately greeted by a young man and a young woman that were working in there. They were very helpful in our selection it was my 1st time in but my daughter already knew what she wanted. With the sugar cane base which is a juice you get to add your combination of up to 2 different kinds of fruits off a list of about 20 different types of fruits.. And believe me if you make the perfect combination it's a heavenly taste and drink that you cannot repeat if you live on the mainland. If you can you're very lucky. If I remember correctly I had the Passion fruit with strawberry. It was perfect because it's 5:00 in the evening and it's still 90ﾟ outside. The young lady that operated the machine that crushed the sugar allowed me to take some photos and I got some but she asked if I got them all and I said well I was kind of trying to get my camera steady and everything so I missed a couple and she pressed more so I could get my photos how nice is that? You're able to watch as they press the juice and add all the toppings as well which is pretty cool. My friend recommend that I tried it by itself for my first time so that way I would know what's it's like regular, so I got the plain. Two months ago i was visiting from Big Island. I drove from Kapolei because I was craving sugar cane juice and didn't want to go all the way to town. I got there a little over an hour before they closed and the teenage gal behind the counter stated they were no longer serving sugar cane juice. We were passing by and saw the illuminated Sugah Daddehs sign. We turned around to see what type of business it was. It was a juice company that serves assorted juices that is sweetened with real sugar cane. They also have Acai Bowls and Gelatos as well. Workers Elise and Kyle greeted us and was very polite. They gave us a little history of the business. Says owner grows his own sugar cane right here on the north side of the island. They have a machine that squeezes out the sugar from the cane stalk and customers can watch it happen live. It's so cool. The ambience is clean and modern. There's an area with a decorated floral backdrop that customers can take photos of themselves. So cool. We ordered lemonade with sugar from the cane stalk. What a cool place and their sugarcane juice surely cooled me off! What's a nice treat of a juice made with sugarcane which was freshly pressed through the machine right in front of my very eyes! This Pearlridge location was between Tamara Fine Wine store and Starbucks. It was near Bed, Bath & Beyond, and Anna Millers. They have a Kahuku location and a sister location in the Royal Hawaiian Center in Waikiki called Hawaiian Cane Juice. On the left as you entered, there was a beautiful selfie decorated wall. If you're craving for ice cream, they serve La Gelateria ice creams and their popular açaí bowls. They weren't able to make the açaí bowl on the day I visited, but I wanted to try the sugarcane juice with turmeric, ginger and calamansi fruits inside. I was meeting my friend later, so I got her the Reusable 32 oz glass jar too ($12) with added $3 cost for the plastic lid /straw with the cute silicone stopper when the straw is not in use. There were different color lids and straws! You can return with your jar and get a refill for $10! On their Instagram page, was a post of the Health benefits of sugarcane juice. It's not too sweet in my opinion if you get it with the root flavors! Great too that it's not made from simple sugar. Officially they were opened on 11/05/21 and you'll find fun flavors combinations that is offered here. I was going to get the Sugah Daddeh combination of Pineapple, strawberry and lemon. One day, I want to try the new blue spirulina smoothie or smoothie bowl! That bowl sounded interesting. They have ice teas like butterfly pea tea and lemonade which can sweetened with sugarcane juice instead of using their syrups. Drove past this place and noticed the sign changed!! Had to check it out!! Haven't been here since Jamba Juice. We walked in and we're greeted by Elise and Kyle. I asked what their favorites were and they said the Lemonade so I ordered one. It only comes in one size: 24 oz for $8.40 I was debating Lemonade or the Butterfly Pea Tea. Elise cut the sugarcane and it was so cool to see the machine press the juice out! She also told us that they sell cut sugarcane in a cup for $5 since there was a large request from customers. I finally found this place. Thanks to the young lady that answered my question. I ordered the mean buggah which consisted of pineapple, strawberries, blueberries and calamansi juice. This drink was so amazing. The juice was good and flavorful. It was enough to fill my belly. There were pieces of strawberries, pineapples inside my drink and enough ice to keep the juice cold. The jar along with the lid and drink came to around $17.75. Not bad considering you get all this. You have to come back on Thursday to refill your jar for around $8 or so. The owner of the place was nice. He told me where he gets the sugar cane and what his days are like. We actually talked about other things while I sipped on the juice. I told him I would come back with my daughter because I wanted her to try the juice from this place. I definitely will come back Thursday after work to get my juice fix. It's so good. It's right next to Hot Topic and Icing on the other side of Pearlridge. Highly recommend. read more

Disappointing. I really like the acai bowls here but I got there at 7:15 and the sign says they're open till 7:30. But the girl said they're closed because the boss told her to close early because it was slow. Smh. Update to my review. Owner reached out and apologized. Really shows how he cares for his customers. The bowl was on the bigger side compared to most acai bowls around the island. The bowl maker asked if i wanted two different bases which i didn't know i could get. Tried Sugah Daddeh's Kane Juice for the first time recently. We ordered a bunch of different flavors for a office lunch. I love how everything is made fresh! The juice is pressed right there in front of you and the fruits that are added to your drink are all cut fresh before they go into your drink. The shop is clean and fresh and they have a wide assortment of menu items that anyone is sure to find something they like. The owner (I think) was very hospitable and knowledgeable! Also helpful when I had to carry my drinks to the car! Onto taste! I had the sugah daddeh which is cane juice with lemon, pineapple and strawberry. This is the perfect combo! The cane juice is not overly sweet or heavy and is actually so light and delicious!! I would definitely recommend trying this out to others. Owner was really friendly and informative. We learned a lot about sugar cane and it's health benefits. Got to sample the juice itself and some gelato. The drink was full of bits of fresh fruit and the gelato was SO GOOD and creamy. If I could buy a tub of the pumpkin gelato I totally would have. I also would love to mention that it's locally owned and grown. Plus they encourage the reuse of their mason jars. Buy your drink in a mason jar and you get a discount when you refill. Decided to try this place out with a friend. Nice, clean interior. Was deciding between getting the sugah daddeh, mean buggah, or watermelon. Decided on mean buggah while my friend got the sugah daddeh. There's an option to get it in a 20oz.cup or 32ozjar. You can see and hear the worker chop the fruits that go into the drink and see the cane's "pulp" come out of the machine. Drinks were ready in a timely manner. Customers before and after us were getting their juices as well and even some scoops of gelato and acai bowls. The mean buggah was refreshing and light. I think the calamansi did overpower the sugarcane flavor a bit. The sugarcane juice isnt that sweet. The plain sugarcane juice tasted like there was something else inside besides the juice, but still refreshing. I may want to come back to try the gelato, acai bowl, or another drink. read more

I LOVE SUGAR CANE JUICE. This is a great place for any sweet tooth who enjoys acai bowls, gelato, sorbets, iced tea, and lemonades. I got their guava sugar cane in a 24oz. cup for $8.50. They also have sugar cane juice in a 32oz. Jar which is super cute with a lid and reusable straw, which I personally think that it is worth it! They also have yummy sorbets and gelato that I was tempting to get, and a beautiful backdrop for any foodie pictures. I would definitely come back to get my sugar cane fix especially if I cannot make it to the farmer's market.
