We usually drive to Haleiwa for our juice from a local truck but we didn't want to make the drive that day so we took a chance to finally try here. It was a disappointment. It is always good to support local as much as possible...as there are many smoothie options on Oahu. Also, I have confused Lanikai Juice with Leahi Health a couple of times. Leahi has Kaimuki & Aina Haina locales; Lanikai has locations in Kahala & Hawaii Kai. Lanikai in Kapolei is next to Kalapawai Cafe in a tiny strip mall that I don't know the name of yet. Parking is tight...and the layout a bit odd. I don't care to park here much. Second time I was at this spot, got the Holo Holo Coffee Smoothie. It had coffee, cacao powder, and almond butter. Alright but not a home run...more like a ground rule double. But this afternoon, I requested the Kailua Monkey Smoothie ...vanilla...and it was awesome. I've been a fan of Lanikai Juice for many years. I'm really lucky to have one located right across the street from my new office, so I always have a healthy-ish option for lunch or breakfast when I haven't brought something from home. I can call in my order, and it's ready by the time I walk over to pick it up. The ladies working there are always pleasant. I used to be a big fan of their smoothies, but lately have gotten into the açaí bowls. I am a creature of habit, so I always get the Açaí Monkey, so I can get some protein in with my treat. I am surrounded by a lot of tempting food places in my work neighborhood. Feeling very lucky that Lanikai Juice is the 2nd closest eatery to my work, and by far the healthier alternative than most of them. My dad was craving an açaí bowl so we took a drive out to Lanikai Juice in Kapolei. This is a 20 min drive for us. I was waiting in line for my order while the cashier, Jadis, was helping a customer in front of me. Maybe she knew this customer because she was smiling and giggling while the order was being taken. Then when it was my turn I say hello and Jadis has a straight face, no smile..basically an RBF (resting bitch face). I was turned off by this, but still tipped and patiently waited for my order. About 10 min go by and I don't see the three employees that are on duty even start to make my order. I asked for the supervisor and asked for a refund on my order. The problem is though that first time we tried the açaí bowl was so good that we were hooked but we can never find an açaí bowl that was as good as that first one we tried. I've been a fan of Lanikai Juice for years. I LOVE their Kailua location! What I love: The same awesome juices, acai bowl and smoothies are available here! they also have a rewards program to help save money when you are a regular customer. Ask about it! It's free anyway! My favorite thing to get is their acai extravaganza with extra granola and honey. so DELICIOUS! My second favorite would be the chunky monkey. yum oh! Their juices are amazing. They taste good and are good for you. They have a special program to save if you buy in bulk. If you are vegan they juice and smoothie options that are vegan friendly! The staff is always friendly. They make everything made to order. Even with a long line, they get it done! Only once did I see the staff struggle, but that was because it was night and only 1 employee was working. I think that was just a weird night, it was like everyone in Kapolei wanted a smoothie or something. This place uses local ingredients and is a local company! It feels good to come here and know you are supporting a local business. What irks me: Parking, although free, gets really crowded. I suggest just grabbing to go and don't hang out. One thing different about this location is there is no outside seating. At the Kailua location, they had outside seating available and I would be able to enjoy my acai bowl. If you come here, there is limited seating inside, but you will probably have to take it to go. Overall, this is one of my favorite juice and acai places to go! My kids also enjoy their smoothies and plantain chips. Thankfully it is not as bust as Kailua's location but this place does get busy. read more

After reading the reviews on Google. We said hey, might as well give it a shot. Worst mistake ever. If I could no stars that would be great. First bad sign : walked into the Lanikai and was not greeted at all. No hi, one sec, be right you. Second: the two women in the back were not friendly at all. No smile, just looked like they wanted to be anywhere else but there. The gentleman that took our order was nice Third: you can't build your own smoothie, you have to choose one form their menu and then add or subtract items which is like a one dollar per item. Fourth: I'm pretty traditional, I go with what I know. I make smoothies at home all the time , I go to smoothie sports throughout California and it's always the same ingredients. Never fail, never change so I know what to expect. Once my smoothie was ready I could already tell that it was all wrong. For one it was green, first bad sign. After I tasted it, it was f$&@ing gross. I could not taste any of the fruits I paid for. No mango, no pineapple, no strawberries, bananas, no almond milk. Completely void of any flavor. However, What I did taste was a smoothie completely made of spinach. Mind you all the smoothie came up to $17 dollars and some change. The way the employees vibe was I was afraid to even ask for a remake or complain due to the fact they might spit in my drink. Needles to say I wasn't happy at all. I am OBSESSED with açaí bowls! This place has a great selection! My favorite is the açaí monkey! Açaí topped with bananas, peanut butter, granola, and cocoa nibs. I always add new pollen and strawberries for an additional .75 cents each. This location is also the host of the Lanikai run club. The running club is free to all. They meet at Lanikai on Monday's at 5. Lanikai Juice is located in the Kalapawai parking lot. It is always clean and well stocked.
